My Morkie Bailey just recently had to be put down. Dr Parker and her assistant came to my home and made the entire experience less traumatic. They were so sympathetic and friendly. They took care of Bailey as if she was their own. So grateful!

Dr. K was so professional. I took my dog there who is old and having troubles walking. Dr. K listened to me intently. Brodie needs some work so Dr. K has a solid game plan to get him back to a comfortable way. I felt very comfortable here like he cared very much. His sweet wife who works there was also so helpful with explaining everything to us. This facility was super clean and very organized.

My precious angel had to be put down two months ago. Marianne at the front desk, the veterinarian, and vet tech all made one of the worst days of my life a little easier. I am so thankful I was able to bring my sweet Niki girl to this office to have her final moments be under the care of these lovely people. I knew from the moment I called and spoke with Marianne that this office was very special. Thank you all from my heart for being so kind and compassionate to me and my fiancé during this difficult time.

Dr. Kavanagh has been treating our pup since we got him three months ago. I cannot say enough good things! MaryAnne always calls to check up on Chico after he gets shots, they were super accommodating when we got him neutered and I always feel comfortable when going there! Dr. Kavanagh gave great tips on how to train our puppy since it is the first we have had. We never hesitate to call if we are concerned with our pup and they always fit us in if we have to go to the office.

My dog started limping quite a bit so I wanted to see a vet quickly; they took me in last minute and were super nice/ professional. They also let me attend the visit which is a big deal for me - I know a lot of other vets that are still not allowing people to go into the office with their pets and I can't understand that (how do you know they administered all the vaccines and did the exam appropriately etc.?). Again this facility allowed me in and was very good!

Dr. K has been treating my family's dogs for the past 20+ years. Even when I moved out of state for a few years, I continued my dog's check ups with Dr. K during my holiday breaks. We know he has their best interest at heart so we always trust his plan of care. Like most dogs, they have walked into the office scared but calm the minute they are greeted by Dr. K in the exam room. Dr. K's wife Mary Ann helps him run the practice and is our go-to person if we have a quick question or need a refill for prescriptions. She is always willing to work around our availability for appointments! Dr. K and Mary Ann are very dedicated, passionate, and professional!

Dr. Kavanagh has been taking care of my two dogs for many years. He is professional, experienced, and compassionate. Marianne, who runs the front office is always there with a smile and a kind word. The facility is impeccably clean and Dr. K has all the most up-to-date and modern equipment. I have no doubts that my pets receive excellent care when they need to visit Kavanagh Animal Hospital.

I do not often make online recommendations - but I have absolutely NO hesitation recommending both Dr. Kavanagh and Marianne for your vet needs. THEY ARE THE BEST!!

All 4 of my cats were very sick and both Marianne & Dr. Kavanagh helped save them by fitting us in for last minute appointments, calling all over to get us the necessary medication compounded, constantly calling to check how our cats are doing, etc. With so many offices now being owned by groups, it’s refreshing to find a vet that is smaller & privately owned. They genuinely care about your pets - if you’re looking for a vet, look no further! They’re the best.

This Dr was highly recommended by my sisterinlaw and I see why!!! Right from the start I felt the compassion when I called about my sick cat Pepper. The receptionist was kind, knowledgeable and helped arrange my appointment for the next day. The doctor and her assistant were just as kind when we came into the office. My cat never leaves the house, doesn’t like people but purred the whole time. They examined my cat, thoroughly explained what was going on, and discussed my options and didn’t take advantage of my sorrow by upselling and/or price gouging. I wanted a veterinary doctor who cared and understood that my cat was my baby and they did!!! If there were ten stars I’d give them a “purrrrr-fect” ten. Thanks. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Kavanagh, Mary Ann, and all the staff are wonderful. I've taken all of my pets to them for over 25 years and I couldn't be happier. They have gone out of the way to accommodate me and the needs of my cats. Recently I've adopted a dog and they have provided much needed advice and guidance on caring for a rescue dog and transitioning him into a family of cats. They are truly wonderful people!

I don’t typically write reviews but I felt compelled because of how great Dr. K and Maryanne have been to our family and our dog. I’d bring my son to Dr. K if he was a pediatrician. I drive from NY to bring my dog to him because there’s a great sense and feeling of being at home when I come here with my dog. There’s never a wait, the Dr is always prompt and on time, gives my dog what he needs. I know these times are very trying for many financially so just know that the prices here are more than fair especially with the medication. It’s hard to find fair, honest, trusting people, so I will continue to bring my dog here.

My Family and I are new to Ramsey and we just adopted a new pet to help make a new home here. We naturally went to Dr. K first as he's closest, but we weren't going to let that alone dictate who cares for your new Family member; we needed to gain trust. Well, it didn't take long at all. Mary Ann couldn't be nicer, or more on top of things, always making sure she can best accomodate our schedules and always giving us a reminder phone call prior. The staff overall is super, all are animal lovers and make you feel like you're part of their family. Doctor K is experienced, knowledgable and always takes time to talk to us to make sure everything is going smoothly. We couldn't be more pleased, one more reason we love our new home!

Dr. Kavanagh is by far the best veterinarian! He truly cares about his patients. I have always adopted rescue dogs; Dr. Kavanagh's excellent care and expertise enabled our pets to live healthy and happy lives. He truly is the most sincere, knowledgeable and caring Dr. The office offers state of the art equipment to assist in treatment, lessening pain, and quicker recovery time for your pets. We have began seeing Dr. Kavanagh in 1999 and have always received the best of care. I highly recommend Kavanagh Animal Hospital.

My family has used Dr. K and Mary Anne for several years. They have early morning and Saturday hours so they make it very convenient to juggle work and care for our pets. The office and exam rooms are impeccably clean. Their prices are reasonable and Mary Anne files my pet insurance paperwork so it is one less thing I have to do. When we lost our beloved Golden Retriever, they were compassionate and reassuring. They are patient and kind to our Pit-lab, who is always very excited and a little hard to handle. Now that we are contemplating another addition to our family, Dr. K was happy to answer my questions and concerns about breeds of dogs and compatibility with our existing pets. I trust Dr. K and Mary Anne and I know my pets are getting quality care.

My name is Anthony R. and I live in Ramsey. I have taken my Chihuahua, Maxine here since we first got her over 16 years ago. Dr. K gave us invaluable advice, guidance and care over these years. He is an experienced and respected vet who carefully explains everything. Mary Ann, the office manager and vet tech always follows up and is quick to respond to calls and questions. I have 100% confidence in them. The facility is state of the art and immaculately maintained. I attribute my dogs longevity and high quality of life at almost 17 directly to Dr. K. Recently I had my dog undergo oral surgery. His attention to detail, pre-opt testing, consultation with specialists helped insure successful results. His high degree of expertise allowed him to successfully treat my dogs condition. The office followed up with calls daily. I am amazed how quickly an almost 17 year old dog recovered. Her tail is wagging again and I am so happy. I recently noticed a couple of negative reviews. I am sorry if anyone had a negative experience but the overwhelming reviews are positive and as I said I have been going there for almost 17 years. I would trust no other vet in the area with my beloved Maxine. I highly recommend this veterinarian provider.

Dr. K is the only one I trust with my animals. His staff is fantastic and Maryann is a pleasure to work with. They always go above and beyond to make sure myself and my dogs are comfortable while there. From routine check ups to unexpected surgeries I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Kavanagh and Marianne for over 20 years. I don’t think I could ever put enough down on how wonderful they are. They are extremely experienced and care deeply for any pet they take care of. The staff is always willing to help with anything needed. I have lived in Ramsey my etntire life and have taken every pet I’ve ever owned to Dr. K. over the last 30 years. He and his wife Mariann are wonderful and compassionate. They understand how much our pets mean to us and have always taken care of my dogs like they we’re their own and recommended the treatment that was best for the dogs. I have called them in the middle of the night with emergencies and they have answered the phone themselves and taken me right away. I am confident that when I leave my dogs there they are in the best place they could be other than with me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Kavanagh has cared for all of our dogs over 26 years. He and Maryanne and the rest of the staff are the most caring, wonderful people. Dr. Kavanagh's care for our dogs has been outstanding. This past few days we needed emergency care for our sweet Charlie. Dr. K not only was throrough, careful, and saved Charlie from a much bigger problem.

If you are seeking a vet - I would recommend Dr. Kavanagh without hesitation. You can trust your loved pet with him and his staff completely.

We have been bringing our dog and cat here for several years and have nothing but positive things to say. The owners are such nice people. They know you by name, and do whatever they can to take great care of your pets. We have had a few vets throughout the years and we feel this is definitely the best!
