My now-husband and I have frequented Design Wise, and relied on Donna's expertise and services as a jeweler, for years. She has consulted with my partner for many special occasion gifts for me, and has absolutely knocked it out of the park every single time. I treasure each piece that they have so thoughtfully coordinated on together.

Most recently, Donna went above and beyond in helping us craft our wedding bands. My husband and I took a nontraditional approach to our marriage, deciding to forego the standard engagement process and go the route of a small, intimate wedding celebration. That being said, we placed special emphasis on the importance and quality of our wedding bands.

We each had a very specific vision of what we had in mind for our respective bands, and Donna cut no corners when it came to ensuring that we got our dream rings.

For my own band, a full-circle band of stunning diamonds, Donna offered some suggestions of her own to ensure that my ring was as functional as it was beautiful. With full understanding and respect for my vision, Donna crafted a spectacular ring that completely blew me away when I finally saw it on our wedding day.

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Donna for her kindness above and beyond what we have come to accept as normal.

I was recently contacted by Donna. She had a ring my mom had dropped off 8 plus years ago for repair. Over the past several years Donna had tried occasionally to contact my mom but she had moved out of the area. My mom obviously forgot all about the ring.

Donna thought of the ring and decided to attempt to find her one last time, so she googled her name. Recently my Mom passed away, so she came across the obituary that was posted just days prior. As soon as Donna described the ring, I remembered it. I stopped in to pick it up and she gave me the repaired ring free of charge.

It goes without saying, how much this kind and human gesture meant to me.

Wanted to share this great experience. This is customer service done right. I dropped off my gold hoops for repair. Donna told me no problem she will order the latch and I will have my earring for my upcoming trip to Italy. Well I stopped in to pick up a day before my trip and they were not ready. Donna explained that the wrong piece was sent. She was so sweet and had a pair of gold hoops similar to mine waiting for me. She lent me gold hoops to take on my trip!!. When I went in to return and pick up mine I was told to keep them. She gave me a pair of gold plated hoops for my trouble. Unbelievable!!

Donna was absolutely amazing. She walked me through every aspect of how a diamond is graded and worked with me and my budget to get the best stone and ring. My fiance and I could not be happier with the final product. Patient, professional and honest, I will definitely be going to Donna for future jewlery. There is no one to I would trust more.

I have bought a few pieces of Jewelry from Donna at design wise. Most importantly I just recently purchased my engagement ring from her. She put considerable amount of time getting what me and my Fiance wanted. When I presented the ring to my fiance her face was glowing. Donna did a perfect job making our dreams a reality!

These negative reviews are shocking to me and completely contrary to my experience. The owner was lovely. She immediately knew what I was looking for, custom made it to my specifications, charged me a reasonable price, and had it ready for me before Christmas (on short notice).

I went into the store on a whim just a few days before Christmas looking for a special piece of jewelry for my 10 year old daughter who loves pearls. I had already looked in the jewelry department of a high end department store and didn't see any pearl necklace that I liked and they were all over priced. Donna made my daughter a beautiful single pearl necklace that is sweet and age appropriate. My daughter was thrilled when she opened it on Christmas and wears it every day. Thank you Donna for making our Christmas special and giving our daughter a piece of custom jewelry that she will treasure for many years to come.

Just wanted to do a long over due review..because this store never disappoints me. The showcases are overflowing with beautiful items. This store has been in business for years. I love that it has that home town feeling. I first was introduced to the store when I was shopping for an engagement ring. I did my homework and no one on the internet nor other stores could give me the education, quality and value of my purchase. Since then I have always found perfect jewelry items for gifts along with jewelry repairs and watch repairs at Design Wise. The owner loves to spend time with customers getting to know them and communicating about different aspects of fine jewelry. You can tell that her knowledge is far beyond textbook and up to date on technology. Her oversea shopping travels brings an array of most unusual one of a kind jewelry designs that range in price points to meet all budgets. This is why this store is so great.
