My 5 year old and I had our first camping adventure at Wading Pines Camping Resort at the beginning of August with a two night stay in one of the cabins. We definitely plan on returning (and are trying to book a return trip before school starts). The campground was quiet and clean. From the moment I checked in, I felt comfortable with staying here. The cabin was spotless upon arrival. I loved the covered porch and picnic area attached to the cabin. The highlight of the trip for us was the fishing lake - which our cabin was overlooking. To wake up and grab his pole to run down to the lake was a dream come true for him. I do know that a campground cannot control who stays there, but we found all the guests near us to be the kindest, friendliest groups of people. (Two came to my rescue when my son reeled in a HUGE catfish!)

The pool was beautiful (but a little chilly for us). Would have loved to rented a kayak, but the fisherman couldn't be pulled away from the lake!

Thanks for making us hooked on camping! Cannot wait to return!

Have been coming to Wading Pines cabins the past few years and it is always a great time. Located in the middle of the pines, it takes no time to get in relaxation mode. Pool is beautiful and there are plenty of activities onsite and nearby. If you forget anything, the on-site store has pretty much anything you need. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Already have another trip planned! Highly recommended

We were very pleased with our weekend trip. There was lots of activities including train rides, inflatables, drive-in movie, candy bar bingo, birthday party/celebration, and a live band. The campground was super clean and the pool was well kept. The cabins were cute but I would have enjoyed a microwave for coffee in the morning and a small refrigerator too. We will definitely be returning...

This was our first camping experience ever and we enjoyed it so much we are already planning a second trip! We had a tent site along the river W241 with electric and water hookup and it was perfect. It fit our big 10 person tent as well as a smaller 6 person tent with still plenty of room for our grill and table. We had an amazing view of the river with plenty of people watching as kayaks, canoes and tubes came down. The live music every night was a blast! The pool area was pretty packed every time we wanted to go so we didn’t use it but we would just float in the river in front of our site instead. General store offered everything you would need and we went everyday to load up on ice for the coolers. Kids enjoyed the basketball and volleyball courts as well as the catch and release pond and every person we encountered was so nice! It was a great experience for our first time!

It was our first time camping here… employees were very friendly and helpful. The campground was very nice. It was hot and dry so a little dusty but not too bad. The pool was very nice and concession stand food was good as well. We were only there 2 nights but would have liked to try out some other amenities -maybe next time

Wading pines is the best! We have been going every October for the last 8 years celebrating our anniversary’s, and last year we actually hosted our wedding guests there for the weekend! Cabins are perfect, the grounds are so well kept and the staff is always so kind! Can’t wait for many more years of memories to make there

My husband and his family have been coming to Wading Pines for over 30 years. When we got married and had children, we have kept up the tradition of coming here the last six years and even placing our camper on a seasonal site last year. We have had nothing but great and positive experiences. Michelle and management have done a wonderful job making this a fun and safe place for our family to camp. Not once have we ever felt like there was an issue here at the campground. Our kids love the lake, river, pool, and park. And there is so much for them to do including the crafts, fun games planned, the train ride, etc. The actions this weekend by management and specifically Michelle were completely warranted due to the fact that a group of young people were disturbing the peace here at Wading Pines. We have camped here a long time and have not seen such rude and disrespectful rowdy behavior. Michelle did a wonderful job of keeping us seasonal guests and the other weekenders here to enjoy the beautiful weekend safe by removing the large group that was causing issues all weekend. I applaud her efforts and only makes our decision to keep our camper here seasonal for years to come stronger. They have done an amazing job revamping this campground and you would be stupid to miss out on this amazing place due to a bunch of inaccurate reviews by the group who was not following the simple campground rules. We will continue to come to Wading Pines and enjoy ourselves! If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would!

We've camped at Wading Pines for about 25 years and just returned from our annual camping/tubing trip. Everything was wonderful as usual! Loved the availability to rent golf carts and the nightly entertainment was a plus. Newly renovated bathrooms are nice but are missing that very much needed bench/changing area in the shower stall. Knowing this in advance we opted for the bathroom with the roomier shower area. See you next year!

Such a beautiful campground! The scenery is amazing the little pond by the cabin we stayed in has fountains and a dock you can sit and fish on it is absolutely beautiful! We went tubing and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are very friendly and the sites were great for tents as our other family members had tent sites and the areas were clean and spacious! The campground is kid friendly with some awesome
Activities! The pool was closed ( sept 17 ) but it looked big and clean and fun! The bathrooms are clean and not too far for walking distance! There are playgrounds and basketball
Courts and volley ball- there is a store with a lot of nice things and everything you need! The band was awesome we didn’t go but we heard from our cabin! and we will absolutely be coming back!

Love this campground! The convenience of having the wading river running right alongside of your campsite is the highlight! You can tie up your tube or kayak right at your site and then when you wanna float you can go from there to a number of stops along the campground.....and then you can walk back to your site and start all over again!
Nice pool, clean bathhouse, stocked store, lots of activities and great people!

Wading Pines is a great Campground. They have Entertainment and activities that fit all ages. Michelle in management is wonderful she tries hard to accommodate all campers. All staff Is friendly, kind, and courteous. All maintenance personnel work hard to keep the grounds clean. I would like to give a personal Thanks to Jason in maintenance he is well rounded in all aspects of the trade. I had some electrical issues at the panel with a breaker he had it fixed in no time and we were up and running . If you are reading this Hopefully we will see you in the pines.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There is TONS to do (definitely try the catch and release pond). The cabins are small, but we’re very cozy and it just adds to the experience. Everyone was friendly and the park was extremely peaceful by around 9pm. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back next month. One of the most beautiful spots in New Jersey.

I absolutely love this place! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, not to mention, they become like part of your family too! WP is clean and is a great family campground. The moment we came for the first time we were hooked and in love with it here. We very quickly became seasonal campers here. I highly recommend wading pines! There is something for everyone to do here.

We love Wading Pines! Just got back from our 3rd trip there, and second year for the Halloween weekend. We tent camp and loving being between the river and the pond. Everyone is so friendly, the kids love the playground and it’s just an overall relaxing campground. The only real bummer is the firewood they sell is always wet, so it takes forever to get a fire going. It kinda ruined our night because we couldn’t sit around a camp fire after a couple hours of trying. We’ll be back though!

My husband and I are currently in our 2nd year of being seasonal at Wading Pines and we love it even more than our first. We are in a different area than last year and have met a whole group of new people. Everyone there is just sooooooo super. We have many friends. The management is awesome. It’s run by Tom and Michelle and they stop by our site to say Hi when they can or stop to talk while we walk our dog. They really care about us and our stay there. You always see maintenance men picking up trash or cleaning a site. The housekeeping girls are always cleaning cabins or bathrooms. Everyone waves as they drive byyy…… Friendly staff!! The office/ store personnel are efficient and knowledgeable.I can’t say enough about this place. Book it!! You will love the bands every weekend. The pool is beautiful and your kids will be ready for bed as soon as they have their dinner. Crafts. Train Rides. Tubing. Fishing. Snack bar. They will be falling asleep during your evening campfire. Trust me! You need to make that reservation!! You won’t regret it.

Best camp ground around! Third year here.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds and bathrooms were clean, even with many campers, staff was on top of it. Between the pool, the park and the river, kids never asked for tablets, they actually played outside! We stayed in the cabins Wednesday and Thursday. They are nice, plenty of space, big deck for hanging out, air conditioning came in handy for the humid nights. Beds aren't that comfortable. And we had two tent sites Friday and Saturday. They were huge. Close to the bathrooms and the pool. We will definitely be back. We all loved it.

I am a new seasonal camper at wading pines. The staff is courteous and very helpful in whatever you ask of them. Michelle is especially very personable. My new neighbors have been very welcoming. Why anyone would give a bad review of this campground probably wasn't doin what they were allowed to do. I've been coming to this campground since my children were very little. Now I get to enjoy it with my grandchildren and hopfull someday with my great grandchildren. 5 stars!!!
