My father used to drive from NH once a year to get his blueberry bushes from DiMeo Blueberry Farms & Blueberry Plants Nursery. The bushes are still producing with minimal maintenance after a decade since he passed. I will be back this year to purchase some new bushes to plant this summer. My father loved to visit and talk about blueberries and how best to manage a crop in the harsh New England climate. I can’t wait to meet the amazing people in person!

Get your blueberry bushes from here!!!
This is an all organic blueberry farm.
I did a few months of researching for somewhere to buy my bushes and I decided on this company.
A lot of places are overpricing organic and specialty plants. Not this farm! I purchased 10 - 3 year old bushes from here. Each was $15. That even includes Pink Lemonade ones. Most places start around $25 and go up to $50-60 for specialty.
Support small owned businesses and you’ll be super happy with your outcome!

I am very excited about my new blueberry plants from DiMeo. Once you arrive, you see so many blueberry bushes that it is impossible to count them. As others mentioned, the property is gorgeous. The person who helped me also helped load the plants, which filled all the vertical space in a mini-van. Most branches were bent over to fit. When I got home, I loosely measured (compared with 3 and 4 foot u posts). The smallest pair were between 3 and 4 feet, the other 8 were between 4 and 5 feet tall from the ground (including the pot). These were not unicorn plants. There were zillions of plants about the same size. They look great. Good experience, good value. By appointment only, no browsing or picking (didn’t bother me, just explaining so you know what to expect). Honestly they were almost all the same anyway. The bushes are unmarked (variety not labeled). Perhaps they can reply and post the varieties here if they want. I was assured there is a mix, which is what I wanted. I would buy here again without reservation.

If you want large, well-cared for, great value blueberry bushes. They have them here. In and out in 5 minutes and back on the road.

Picture of the trees here, at my home. You can see it’s Fall. Most of my trees are bare. You can see these blueberries are still turning colors, most leaves still on the bush.

We have purchased several blueberry bushes from DiMeo farms. We live in Bucks County, PA and our bushes have flourished unlike the ones from a big box home improvement store. Our grandson loved picking blueberries this summer. It's was his favorite summertime activity at Grammy's and Grumpy's. We just purchased another set of blueberry bushes including something new...pink lemonade blueberry bushes!

I have purchased plants from Dimeo in the past. I decided to expand my patch and called to order large mature bushes this Fall. Dimeo suggested for larger bushes I wait until later in the season for the plants to be dug and transplanted when the are dormant.
They called me Monday they were ready and I picked them up today. They are not blueberry bushes —-they look like blueberry trees. Extra large healthy plants. The plants are better than they were described and I am very happy with these blueberry bushes.

A friend and I stopped by Dimeo Blueberry Farm on Thursday, 2/29 and picked up three blueberry bushes apiece. Anthony greeted us inside the gate, and while his helper loaded up my truck, he gave us very specific instructions for when, where and how to plant them. They are beautiful, healthy plants, with plenty of new leaf growth. My three are already in the ground, and I can't wait to start picking fresh, organic blueberries this summer! I will definitely be back next summer to get some raspberries and blackberries.

DiMeo farms is The Best! We are a small farm in Morristown Vermont, Singing Wood Farm, we trailered 300 blueberries and 100 Raspberries from NJ to Vermont. They are finishing their second year here in Vermont. Both the Raspberries and the Blueberries have done wonderful. We had amazing crops of both this year despite having a terribly rainy summer. We hope to purchase many more plants in the near future. Thanks DiMeo family.

Absolutely LOVED picking huge juicy blueberries and walking the grounds of DiMeo BlueBerry Farm today. The visit was far from what we expected. The grounds were absolutely beautiful to walk around with a lovely nature trail at the end. You can even rent kayaks and go for a paddle in Hammonton Creek! Picnic area and fire pits surround the area. One of the most unexpected perks of the visit was the beautiful music that could be heard throughout the farm! I mean, really...who does that!! They also sell blueberry and other berry bushes with helpful hints on how to grow them. The website also gives insight on their care which will come in handy with the two bushes we purchased today. We have intentions to visit again and buy more. Visit this farm! It will not disappoint!! And bring the kids! The families we saw today all were enjoying themselves. It was so cute to hear the kids chatting away while they picked and it's a great way to get them outdoors.

We had a wonderful time picking blueberries this July! My friend and I took my 5 year old and 2 year old on a hot, sunny afternoon. We made a reservation ahead of time and when we showed up a man greeted us and told us where to park. We paid $30 for 12 pints of blueberries and were advised to pick in a certain area where tons of berries would be found. My kids absolutely LOVED picking the berries and we took about an hour to fill all of the pints up. We may have sampled a berry or two during our picking, and man, they were SO sweet! The picnic tables provided a great shaded space to give the kids a break. They were also playing some kind of super zen music, which made the atmosphere even more inviting. 10/10 would recommend this farm to anyone looking for some big, beautiful blueberries!

I came out to bring the kids out to pick blueberries and they had a great time. They also had fun making blueberry jam after but since we were there I picked up a few plants and figured I would give it a try. Well let me tell you there is nothing better than growing your own fruit and being able to go out into the yard and pick fresh berries for your cereal in the morning or to make blueberry scones. They included directions with the plants and they are doing fantastic! Nice and plump and sweet and organic!

Beautiful farm, very inviting, organized, professional and growing delicious blueberries. The relaxing music coming from the house ( my guess:)))) can be heard while picking up blueberries and it is a great addition!!! It’s worth spending1.5 hrs one way to pick the organic blueberries!!! Will definitely come back!!!!

This is the second time I’ve taken my teen son and his friends for blueberry picking and kayaking at DiMeo’s. It’s a dream: the blueberries are sweet (and at 30 dollars for 12 pints, a great deal). This past time we went, there was a little girl there singing songs she made up as she picked with her grandma- super cute! I was surprised but the teenagers LOVE these outings. And the kayaking afterward on the creek just beyond the field (20 per person) is really fun and you don’t need to be a kayaker or expert do it. We spent about an hour picking and an hour on the creek (shady, cool breeze even on a warm day, serene and beautiful). The folks who work there are really nice and there are picnic tables near the creek, so you can pack a lunch or eat your berries creek side. If you call and don’t get an answer, leave a message- they’ll call you back. Also, this is a family business- last year we met Mr. DiMeo himself - super nice guy and we were his first kayak customers. This is our 2nd year going and we’re making it an annual (or more) tradition. Just go! Now, I’ve gotta go make some blueberry pie and cobbler!

Had a great morning picking blueberries! The experience on the beautiful farm alone is worth a visit, and the value of the best organic berries can’t be beat. We will be back, in fact we are already planning next week. It took two adults only 30 minutes to fill 12 pints once out in the field.

We’ve been baking breads, making jams and pancakes with our haul. There is not a berry at the market that comes close to picking fresh from Dimeo!

I drove about 3.5hrs (each way) to pick up my plants. When I arrived to the farm I was the only one there. The gentleman there identified himself as the owner of the farm, and he had a helper unloading a farm trailer of plants. I asked him if I could buy 4 blueberry and 6 raspberry, he said absolutely. His helper quickly loaded the plants and 1 bail of peat moss into my vehicle. I am new to fruit plants, so I had a ton of questions. The owner was super chatty and happily answered them all. Told me exactly how to plant them, what to use, and gave me some additional paperwork in case I forgot. This was about six weeks ago. I was finally able to get them planted last weekend. My blueberry bushes are loaded with baby blueberries, and my raspberries are shooting up baby canes like crazy. I’m so excited to eat them all. lol. After I made this purchase, I actually researched the farm more and saw a lot of negative reviews. I personally had a great experience, and would go back. I was super happy with the plants, they were a nice size and very healthy looking, and they seem to be producing very well. The owner was very respectful and kind to me, as was his helper. Thanks for the bushes!!

I was skeptical of buying blueberry bushes from half way across the country, but the lady on phone assured me everything would be fine for my area (4a). With one of the worst weather years in ND, plants arrived bareroot and I was even more worried. Followed instructions and plants began sprouting within 1 week. After 1.5 months moved outside when temperatures were better. The rest is up to me, but Dimeo Farms made good on promise "plants will sprout". Definitely would do business with this company again!

Update: After another brutal long winter, I was hopeful but not at ease about the blueberry plants I purchased surviving. Much to my surprise they came back strong and healthy. I also purchased some young plants from a big box store as well, which hardly grew at all. Both plants survived the winter, but do not look as good as the ones from Dimeo.

This review is for the blueberry plants that were offered for $15 each. My friend drove and picked it up so all I can review are the four plants I have from DiMeo farms. They came loaded with blossoms which quickly turned into wonderful tasting blueberries. The instructions on how to either keep them in container or planted into the ground were very clear. These plants need acidic soil!!! I opted to keep mine in pots, a friend repotted with the recommended half peat moss and half sand mix, and a third friend put them into the ground. I was able to harvest a lot of berries to my surprise, and all I did was provide some protection from birds and critters so I didn't lose any berries. I kept them at the south facing side with full sun and they did great! For winter, I kept them outside, same south facing, just mulched the pots with a thick thick layer of pine needles, and they already have tons of buds. Very winter hardy. My friend who repotted into the peat and sand mixture, his plants took off like rockets but he didn't net them so the birds got them. Same with the third friend who put them into the ground, the birds got to them. Point of the story is to protect the berries from critters!!!

My daughter and I went to pick our own blueberries this past weekend, very enjoyable experience. The gentleman was very helpful and answered our questions. Music playing, plenty of shade to get out of the hot sun, best of all was the delicious blueberries. We had nothing but a positive day.
