Pleasantville Diner

Stopped in on the way home from AC. Hungry for breakfast at 1 in the afternoon, so we made the little detour home.
Service was quick (admittedly it wasn't busy).
Food came pretty quick.

First, the eggs. My SO is picky about her eggs, and she was quite happy they made them exactly the way she likes them. 10/10

The bacon. I prefer mine a little less crunchy, and a little fatty. She likes hers well done. It came out like she likes it, but no complaints from me 9/10

Home fries. Here's the only confusing item. Normally, it's just potatoes and onions fried up, pretty simple. These, well, they came out looking red, from what I'm guessing is the chefs seasoning. Adobo perhaps? Whatever it was, they were tasty and different. 10/10

Now, for the final item, the SOS (cream chipped beef). This is now in my top 5 . First bite blew me away. I normally get it over the home fries and skip (or replace) the toast. Small error by the waitress, but not a big deal.
Unlike other places I get it, this had a nice buttery accent. If only I can get it closer to home. 11/0

Overall, high marks. Definitely will make the side trip here again.

Great food and service, they make their own desserts! The mexican food was delicious!
Update: recommend the strawberry/walnut/banana french toast (Napoleon french toast), the super nachos, and 2 eggs any style. Yummy!

The food was delicious! It’s a small place but great service. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and the bread was the best I’ve ever had!! We’re passing through but will stop again to eat if we’re here.

This place is a great family owned diner. A lot of the specialties they make are done completely from scratch and are absolutely amazing.

If you’re anywhere near and want some real good food served with a smile you can’t go wrong with the Pleasantville Diner!!!
They even Deliver right through Google too!!!

Absolutely Amazing!! The staff are so nice and the prices are too good to believe! The pizza tastes soooo good and are big and cheap, I highly recommend!!

Naomi the waitress is such a sweetheart. The tres leches cake is so delicious and moist, you gotta try it!!

This place definitely does NOT disappoint. The next time I'm in the area I will be stopping by. :)

Food is fairly priced and was very good. Quick service so we didn’t wait long for our food. Most menu items are $9.99 and the portions will definitely fill you up!

Came with a party of 11 people and we were shocked by how good the food was. The place looked sketchy but the food was amazing. Service was very good as well. The tacos were our favorite.

We were looking for a good place eat to while in Atlantic City and found Junior. The food was wonderful. Much better than most places in Atlantic City. Very reasonable prices. The service is ok but made the food worth the wait. I would eat here every day if I lived here. Junior is very good at doing his job and made the orders worth the enjoyment of good meal. Oh yeah the chicken noodle soup is wonderful!

Great food and great prices, while of course being fresh! I recommend!

We couldn't have a sit down breakfast cause of the Pandemic but the female server was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is made with a touch of Mexican Flair and it was delicious. Its definitely a place to stop by to grab a bite to eat.

FYI, they ran out of ice and they sent a staff member out to run and get a bag so we had cups of ice before we left. Like I said they were very accommodating.

Food was very good for a very reasonable price.

Food is very good here. Reasonable pricing and good service. I got the cheese steak on my first visit and loved it. Then got the Rueben, which was not a typical Reuben but still very delicious.

Such good restaurant I would go here often and it has very good service and good food. I would recommend this place for everyone.

Loved our meal! We got so much food for a great price. Took home some baked goods as well! If you stop by atlantic city...stop in!

Highly recommend the tacos. It's over 12 bucks for a burger at Hangtime, skip that place and come here instead. Burger prices are way better plus the 50s atmosphere is fun

OMG...incredible Mexican food! I'm so happy my husband chose to go there on the way home from our travels. Food is excellent, service is great. We will definitely travel to come here again!

Food was good... they didnt have some of the items listed on the menu... but good service made up for it!

This place should never be empty. The food is amazing. Lots of variety, and generous portions. It's clean, bright, and you can tell they put a lot of love into it. What a gem. So glad I wandered in!
