This is THE shop to bring your car to in the area. Kenny the owner is a great dude. Very up front and honest about everything, and a great team backing him. The only place I'll bring my car to have major service done, and they do not disappoint (both on price and quality of work). Even followed up to see how my car was running after a major service (it's running like it's new).

Above and beyond service by Kenny & Co.! Kenny gives the customer a full, detailed explanation of the necessary work, as well as the 'how' and the 'why' of things in easy to understand language. I needed my transmission replaced. Kenny did the leg-work in locating a trans for me, then had the job expedited to limit the amount of down-time I would be without my car. Highly recommended, and will be using Goodeal Discount Transmissions & Kenny in the future.

My father recommended that I go see Kenny, the owner, and his team at Gooddeal when I was having concerning issues with my Ford Fusion and the dealership wasn't helping me. Kenny answered my call and let me come in for a test drive the next day even though he was booked with work, just to make sure I was driving safely and there wasn't an emergency. When he confirmed it wasn't a safety hazard, we booked a diagnostic appointment. He promptly looked at it, gave me thorough
advice and did not charge for his time, which would have been more than fair to do. Ultimately, they did not do any repairs on my car due to its condition, but I appreciated their attention and friendly manner.

I took my Chevy Silverado truck to Kenny at Goodeal Discount Transmissions in Hammonton and he gave me the correct advice on how to fix the problem which saved me money. He is an honest man who analyzed the situation and came up with the best plan, and did an excellent job of replacing my drive shaft and checked out my other concerns with the truck for me, and he never tried to tell me the truck needed work which was not needed. If you are looking for an honest mechanic to take your vehicles to, this is definitely the place to take your vehicles! Kenny, Dana, and his entire staff were helpful, pleasant and answered all of my questions and concerns, they were a pleasure to deal with. I really can’t praise and thank them enough. It’s such a relief to know that I now have a mechanic that I can trust. I will always recommend Kenny and his team at Goodeal Discount Transmissions! 2 days before Christmas my SUV breaks down on my way to work. They looked it over and strongly suggested that I take the car back to the dealership. Turns out I need a new engine (factory defect). Now could Kenny have still taken my business and sold me a rebuilt engine to the tune of I don't have the money for? ABSOLUTELY! Did he? ABSOLUTELY NOT! That is a man of integrity right there! I had a transmission go bad on my 2016 equinox. It was still under warranty. I went to "Good Deal" as soon as I walked in they were very welcoming. Kenny explained the process to me in detail. They dealt with the warranty company and gave me all the info and feedback needed. Just out right made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Hard to find service like this these day. I highly recommend Good Deal Transmission. I've owned my 06 Ram since almost new ,and it has never shifted as smooth and precise as it does now. Kenny worked with me on a custom build to address common issues with the 48RE. I wouldn't hesitate to refer or bring any future business to them, all-around good people doing a great job.

I had to have it towed, Kenny (the owner)called me within the hour to let me know it got there. He explained everything to me step by step. I just came in about 2014 Honda Civic transmission cap. Kenny and his staff were great at understanding my concern, and took the time to describe what could possibly be going on with my transmission. I appreciated Kenny’s effort to help correct the issue which could possibly be saving me a lot of time and money. It seemed like he really cared about that for me! While I hope my issue is corrected, I will now ALWAYS recommend Kenny to all of my friends and family needing transmission work.

On the recommendation of our mechanic, we brought our 2006 Isuzu SUV, which is no longer manufactured, to Kenny who specializes in transmissions and was able to fabricate and replace rusted cooling lines to the transmission at a very reasonable price! I have had three different transmissions rebuilt at this location. By far the best service I have ever received at a repair facility. They do excellent work and stand behind it 100%. Ken and his staff talk to you and explain their work in terms you can easily understand.

If you want honesty, I mean an honest opinion and service, take your vehicle to Goodeal. When you meet Kenny you will understand why. He had my attention from the first conversation.

I have a 2012 Ford F150 Crew Cab with 160k miles. Recently, I was having an issue with my truck sliding into a high gear from a stopped position. It would move like it was in 5th gear. It did this randomly. Ran perfect most of the time.
I will spare you all the details about what exactly was wrong with my truck but it is a transmission issue.
I was recommended to take my truck to Goodeal Discount Transmission.
My truck coded as a TSB by the computer. (Technical Service Bulletin) (I was not charged for this. Note this.) This means it is an issue that should be covered under warranty.

Molded Leadframe was identified on the computer, so thinking it was under warranty, it was suggested by Kenny to take it to a dealer to get it done at NO cost. He never suggested letting him do the work and charging me. Note that.

I took the vehicle to a dealership. I will not mention the dealership. They agreed it was a TSB and it needed a molded leadframe. The problem was my truck exceed the 150k limit. My truck was slightly over the mileage. Cost was just under $1000 to repair. I walked out.

I took it back to Kenny. He had it for a few day working diligently to find out the issue. Finally, he honestly said to drive the truck until something is clearly identified as the issue. He could not find the exact problem and did not want to unnecessarily charge me to rip apart the transmission.

I tried to pay him. He did not take a dime.

A week later my starter went. I took it directly to Kenny and he diagnosed it as the issue and had me out of there in a day. Very reasonable cost.

I rarely recommend anyone to this much detail but I can honestly tell you that you can trust Kenny and Goodeal Transmission to repair your vehicle. They have great character and are professionals.

Got on the phone Friday afternoon with them to set up an appointment for Monday morning. I was greeted kindly and informed that I could drop off my car anytime, and sure enough come Monday I drop off my car no problem. They inspected my car for a day, said that I could pick my car up anytime during business hours, I just had to call in advance. Very professional and courteous people!

This is by far the best shop I have ever dealt with. Ken the owner goes way above my expectations great experience with this shop for a transmission rebuild on my old jeep. They even warranted a job that was done 5 years ago but only had 68000 miles on it. I cant say enough good about this shop. A+++++++
