Ultimate Martial Arts & Kickboxing

I love this place! I started kickboxing classes at Ultimate Martial Arts and Kickboxing 2 weeks ago and can already feel myself getting stronger. I appreciate how each class is a full body workout that changes every day so it doesn't become monotonous. I also really like the daily health tips that are offered at the end of each class. Scott, Damon, and G are excellent coaches. They make their rounds during class, ensuring everyone is using proper body mechanics and understanding the techniques. I'm so happy to have found such an awesome group of people to help me with my health and wellness journey. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thanks, guys!! Y'all are the best! 🥊🥊

Everything about this martial arts program is awesome!! The staff, the skills, the team. Our son has grown as a person in more ways than I can describe. He's determined , strong and confident. We’ve been with the team for a few years now and my husband has also joined. It’s a wonderful bonding experience for the both of them and it’s exciting to see them encourage each other. When our daughter turned 5 it was a no brainer, she’s always excited to go to class. Joining UMAK is one of the best decisions we've made as a parents to date.

I am a mom of four and I was looking into getting back into shape. A little nervous about actually going to the gym and I’m not one to go for a jog either. I told my husband one day that I would do kickboxing I did it before we had children. Over ten years ago. My husband stumbled across a Groupon and let me know that he signed me up. I immediately got nervous and started coming up with a million reasons as to why I did not have time. I finally mustered up the courage and came into my first class. I have been going consistently 2 to 3 times a week for the last four weeks. The environment is welcoming there are people on all different levels the instructors are kind but they do push you, and I have seen the change in my body. Definitely the best decision I have made in 2023 thus far. If you are undecided this is the place for you. You can do it.

I recently signed my children up for karate. At first they argued with me saying no but now they love it and always looking forward to the next class. I myself joined the kickboxing fitness and its been great the group is very supportive and helpful. Mr Damon's and Mr G's personalities are great they have alot of patience dealing the diversity of the members. They also have a huge sense of humor which makes the experience more fun while learning a skill. Definently would recommend.

Ultimate kickboxing offers an amazing workout in a non-intimidating environment. The kickboxing classes are challenging, fun, and great for all fitness levels. It’s an amazing workout that changes daily. Kickboxing is also a great way to relieve stress! All of the instructors are friendly, motivating, and will help you reach your fitness goal. They make you feel welcome and like part of the family. Classes are offered during the morning and evenings. Try out a class and you will not regret it!

Great organization teaching not only martial arts but life skills as well - integrity, perseverance, leadership to name a few. The instructors are great at engaging the kids and keeping them on track while keeping it fun and never boring!! I've learned a few self defense moves myself watching class and helping my son practice. Varied class times during the week and Saturdays make it easy to attend the classes that fit in this working mom's schedule. Highly recommend!!

I recently started taking kick boxing here to switch up my workout routine. I am so glad I did! The instructors are enthusiastic and the other kick boxers really create a welcoming community of support. You aren't just a face here, they really get to know you and want you to succeed. The classes are intense but you can push through no matter your fitness level. Whether you're looking to lose weight, gain strength, or just start some healthy habits, these classes are a fun, challenging way to do it! 10/10 would recommend.

At first when I decided to start kickboxing, I was pretty nervous I wouldn't fit in with my current fitness level. I had nothing to worry about! The instructors make sure you're comfortable, and my class mates were super encouraging. The warm up was definitely a challenge the first time around, but this is certainly the kick in the butt I need to get into shape- after my first class I was hooked! Everyone is nice, location is perfect, I've been feeling so much better about myself, what more could you ask for!

Mackenzie and Yates Martial Arts Academy is a great place for you and your family to learn all you can about martial arts. The instructors are hands on with all the kids in teaching them the skills of martial arts and also the great strengths of self defense. It is a well structured learning environment. I have watched my son grow from a sky/quiet boy into a more confident/outgoing kid. I couldn't be more pleased with how my son is growing in his martial arts skills and his confidence. I would recommend Mackenzie and Yates Martial Arts Academy to anyone who is thinking of starting out.

The Covid has really challenged the company. Many children that wanted to continue couldn’t because their parents lost her job so you know whatever the reasoning they couldn’t do it anymore. I have been with the organization since 2018 I believe or end of 2017. My daughter did the Young Dragon program. And when she graduated to beginners my Son joined Then I found out I could go for free since I was paying for two. I believe that ultimate martial arts and kickboxing has really helped me and my children build a different kind of relationship. GM Yates read me like a book the first day I went to camp at Atco. The instructors are wonderful and pretty patient for the most part. They even did door to door delivery of certificates and belts!! It is costly but I have gained some knowledge and different skills it’s worth it!

The atmosphere here is amazing! Every class helps you feel more confident and excited to jump right on in to a great workout and keeps me pumped the whole time. The instructors make the class so engaging as well! Love it!

Joining this studio has been life changing for me and has helped me reach my fitness goals. The kickboxing classes here are fun, challenging and great for all entry levels; facility is clean; instructors are kind nd motivating. When I leave I can't wait to return. I found a routine I enjoy and can stick with!

iLoveKickboxing has changed my life!!! From the moment I walked into the studio I felt welcome. The instructors are very inspiring and motivating and the members are welcoming. The workouts are intense and fun you never do the same one. After class I feel so accomplished and like I could take on the world!!! The classes are excellent and the instructors are easy to work with. They do their best to make sure your skills and techniques are done correctly and the workout you get is incredible. I have been there for a few months now and have tested twice and both times I have passed. Its a great feeling.

My daughter has really enjoyed her experience with MYMA so far. She enjoys the classes and the uniqueness of the different instructors. I have noticed an improvement in her self-control, and her behavior at home and school has been significantly better. While she still struggles at times due to Autism and ADHD, martial arts has provided a positive outlet for her. The class times and schedule are also very flexible, especially for working parents!

My son who lives with ADHD and ASD has improved so much through the kids martial arts program. His ability to focus and follow directions has drastically improved. When my son first started this program he would not speak to anyone but after a month the instructors got him to speak to not only them but also his teammates. I can't say enough how great this program is for children with all different abilities and how much of an impact the instructors have had on my son.

I joined ilovekickboxing to get into shape for my wedding. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The instructors motivate and encourage you. They truly want you to reach your goals! It is a tough and challenging workout, but ultimately fun and rewarding!

I have two kids enrolled (6 & 7 years old) and they love the classes and instructors. Their self-discipline and confidence has improved dramatically. Mr. Widmer is fantastic and does a great job balancing high expectations with lots of fun for the kids.

Our son had been very timid and passive. We enrolled him in two different school sports programs to help boost his confidence and assertiveness but didn't really see him getting what he needed from them. With Mackenzie and Yates of Hammonton, however, we started to see some real changes. It took some time but his instructors knew how to bring out our son's competitive side. They use positive reinforcement regularly and we are seeing the results all the time.
