Old school diner. We had a small wait, but once seated our order was promptly taken by a friendly and knowledgeable waitress and the food arrived quick and hot. Our waitress was attentive and replenishing our drinks and coffee often. Even though the place was packed, we were not pressed to hurry - and truly enjoyed a lovely lunch.
The food was good, great fries, the portions generous. The menu is varied with lots of options and/or dietary needs. Wait persons are patient and accommodating.
Lots of families. The restaurant is accessible ♿, with plenty of room at the tables. The bathrooms, however, even though they are accessible one must manage two doors to enter - and the space tight and requires patience. Large parking lot.

Six out of five stars!!! This is what a diner is supposed to be. Very clean. Great food. A super friendly staff that is pretty much family. I love the iconic architecture and decor. I am going to become a regular!

Exactly what a Diner should be! Great menu. Everything was amazing. The place looked brand new, it’s well maintained. Great vibe. Highly recommend this diner!

Love NJ classic diners. I had the bagel cream cheese and lox. There was enough salmon to bring home for another meal. Bagel was nice and light and it was served with a nice garnish of tomato, onion,lettuce and a pickle piled high with a toothpick. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful old school diner vibes. We got seated immediately around 2p on a Sunday afternoon. The portion sizes are more than generous, especially the 10oz burgers. I got the half rack ribs with salad, broccoli and coleslaw. The ribs were very juicy. Also the service was very friendly. Would definitely consider coming back if we are ever in the area.

This is a classic glass, chrome, and neon Diner at a busy intersection in Hammonton New Jersey. Service was above fast. Food was really superb. Extensive menu. Awesome desserts. The waitress didn't hesitate to make me a fresh pot of decaf coffee late in the evening.

- minus one star because the food was a lot chewier than I expected especially the pancakes. Waffles are always amazing in the morning. Coffee is coffee. I will say all around. It was a great experience.

This is an excellent diner. Been to this place 3 times and haven't had a bad meal there yet. The first time was in 2021. I had an omelete, that was really good. The following year, I went back and had one of their sandwiches, with a slice of cherry pie with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. They were delicious, especially the slice of pie. Today, I went there for the third time. I had the flounder with 2 sides. It was very good. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, yet it's a fabulous restaurant.

Excellent service and food. If you want to experience authentic American food, Silver Coin would be the place. They also have a HUGE deserts selection, which they make in-house. Cheesecake(s) are big and one of the region's best. Try chocolate cake.

Again great food, desserts, and service are very friendly and fast.
This is the first time I noticed they now offer cocktails and drinks.

Loved it. I have my favorite waitress Named Vera. And I haven't been able to make to inside dining experience since a death in the family 2 yrs ago. And it was going home to a place where we have been so close and comfortable and it made my daughter smile. It's her new family place, and a wonderful time.

I have food sensitivities. It's a real pain to eat out. They were very willing and able to accommodate my needs and substitute in different sides. Everything was clean, the portions were generous, and the waitress was attentive and friendly. The only negative was an old lady sitting behind me with some contraption on full volume watching a documentary on Egypt, the mummies, sarcophaguses, etc. It was extremely rude IMO, and I have never experienced such a lack of self-awareness in a restaurant setting. Of course, this had nothing to do with the Silver Coin, but she really needs headphones, and it's something that I won't forget. I will definitely be eating there again!!

It's my favorite go to Diner in NJ. I live 40 minutes away. But I go there a lot. Food is always good and fresh. Never had a bad meal there.

Was just passing through but would definitely go again. Decent food and prices. Have to try a dessert next time, the case was full and looked delicious.

My wife and I did lunch at the Silver Coin while sightseeing on a recent trip to south Jersey to visit family. The place was packed, inside and out. That didn't slow down the service - at all. The staff are pros. Friendly, attentive, fun. And it was pretty obvious by the loud chatter and laughter that all of the diners were enjoying a good time with a good meal. Huge portions, great prices, great tastes. There's nothing to not love about the Silver Coin.

One of the better diners I visited in New Jersey, great old time atmosphere. The food was incredible, I had the waffles with a side of bacon. Fresh and delicious.

If you come for brunch, be sure to try their mimosas 🙌 They’re really good if you prefer the sweet ones. I tried the biscuits and gravy and turkey bacon, deeelish. The gravy was on the thicker side, and although I rather the thinner gravy it wasn’t too bad. Our waitress was SO nice!

I love Silver Coin. Have been going there forever now. I always order my regular: shrimp quesadilla and it's always the same.
Everyone else got an egg white omelet, fried chicken sandwich, and fried oysters.
Waitress was wonderful too. Checked up on us multiple times. Didn't have to wait long for our food either, despite the fact that it was crowded.
Silver Coin diner is always a delight.

Absolutely the best breakfast in a while. The pumpkin waffles melt in your mouth. The waitress Patricia was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely drive an hour to visit this place again.

Very nice diner, staff was friendly and efficient. We both had pancakes and scrapple. A large serving of pancakes was delicious with crispy scrapple. First time here, will be back b for lunch or dinner.
