This is a place I wish was in my hometown. It's one of my most favorite coffee shops out of anywhere I have ever been! Everyone is so friendly; the food, coffee, and tea are amazing. I love the coffee, but I had a London Fog (earl grey tea latte), and it is absolutely the best I have ever had. I am so upset to be back in Texas without knowing how to replicate this tea. It is the perfect amount of everything! I drank one with our brunch and ordered another to go, and I went back the next morning for yet another.

The food is delicious! My friend and I shared avocado toast and a roast beef sandwich. The next day, we went in for some pastries and coffee to go. We had the chocolate pb brownie (amazing) and strawberry eclaires (oh my gosh, get you some) and a peach cobbler muffin (delicious!). I wish I'd taken pictures of the pastries, so pretty and delightful.

If one finds him/herself in Eldon, one must go to Serendipity.

If they’ve made the puff pastry with fresh strawberries the day you go, grab! They’re light and delectable—and picture-pretty.

They’ve now added pizza-style toasts, you choose toppings. The shrimp-scampi toast was one of a kind—creamy and satisfying, and almost enough for two people.

It’s more than a coffeeshop by now. It’s a lunch place worth paying attention to.

What a treasure! We were traveling through on our way home to Columbia, and LOVED this gem of a coffee shop! Delicious, high-quality coffee, very personable staff who were ready to answer all of our questions, and a beautiful, relaxing, clean environment to sit and enjoy our amazing coffee! I wish we had been hungry because the food menu looked amazing. We will find reasons to make the road trip down here again...I would love to bring something to work on and just sit and enjoy the lovely environment longer. Can't recommend highly enough.

Happy 3 year anniversary, I'm glad we visited today. We came to Eldon for the cave and wanted a nice spot to try for good food and coffee. They did not disappoint. The cupcakes were moist and not overly sweet. The pizza is really good as well, great crust and sauce. 🤤

Everything is prepared to order and in-house. Consequently, food is of excellent quality. Menu focuses on high quality rather than wide variety so the kitchen can maintain quality. SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT because pastries are superlative...I mean really superlative. Or, do as I do and take dessert with you.

Serendipity is locally owned and locally run; also next door to a locally owned place where they make their own ice cream.

Plan on taking a vigorous walk after lunch or dinner so you can burn off a few calories. It's worth it.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The Gyro was phenomenal and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting.

The atmosphere was great! The food was good, but the way the food was delivered was lacking. One meal was delivered way before the other and that made our brunch awkward. Very relaxing atmosphere and great place to stop and stay a while.

First time here for my wife's birthday. Service was great, food delicious, drinks yummy. When the barista realized he made my drink wrong, he made a new one and let me have both. They also gave my wife a free muffin. We'll definitely be back!

Severe cuteness awaits you at this quaint modestly upscale coffee shop. I overindulged in a small plate sized peanut butter cookie, with chocolate chunks added, served with a fork, and a smooth Americano with cream.

It's definitely worth the drive.

1. Best Strawberry lemonade I've ever had! I also had the apple tart which was also very good! I recommend getting here early for the baked goods. They ran out of the tarts shortly after I ordered and I went around 10. Also be prepared to wait a little longer just like everyone else they are short staffed. Just be patient and you can shop the local soaps and honeys they have available! Worth the stop and Worth the wait!

What an adorable little coffee shop. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I love a shop where everyone is dedicated to the craft. The coffee was delicious and the house made syrups are delicate and delicious. Will be stopping again on my best trip through.

I'm still thinking about the honey lavender breve I got- so yummy!! The baked goods looked amazing and the chocolate cupcake we got was delicious as well.

I’ve been an Executive Chef for over 15 years and would honestly say this was my best food experience in Missouri. I met Cliff the owner just by chance at Gerbes and we found out we came from the same area in Southern California. I went in yesterday for a Wet Burrito and a coffee and let me say, Serendipity Coffee house lives up to its namesake. It was 11/10, and I will be having their food at least a couple times every week. Bravo!💪😎

This place is incredible! Great selection and very friendly/knowledgeable staff. We had a large group come through and they welcomed us with open arms. The prices, variety, and options make this a must stop for all. ALSO, they have gluten free, dairy free, muffins!!

Wonderful little shop with great atmosphere and even greater food and drinks. The pizza, with fresh, handmade sauce and crust, was something I'll definitely be going back for again soon. Besides gourmet coffee drinks, my personal favorite is the lavender or mango lemonade.

Friendly staff, great drinks, great food, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and will make it a point to come back every time we're near this area.

Stopped in for lunch with the whole family, everything was delicious! The large back room is perfect for groups, as is the pizza We also ordered some flavored lemonades (one was Mermaid flavor which is blue raspberry), a Croissant Sandwich, the Avocado Toast (plus bacon, of course) and Tortilla Soup. Finished with a pastry and coffee, also delicious. Service was friendly and very helpful. And every table has hand sanitizer!
