This park is amazing. There are so many different structures for kids to play on. A big slide that you need to get to by climbing, a zipline, my favorite saucer swings and so much more. It is beautifully landscaped with lovely flowers. I saw a chipmunk, a turtle and fat bees covered in pollen. This park is my new favorite.

This park is very nice. My girlfriend and I ran a few loops on one side, and then we saw the rest of the park on the other side of the street. This park is big and full of features!

Very nice park. Clean and with two public restrooms. Nice walking trail around a pond. Plenty to do for the small kids and a small rockwall. Huge jungle gym with a bridge and slide. Only one shelter for the public to use. Could use another shelter but all in all it's very nice.

This is a beautiful park. Very much so a people person's park because there are so many children on the playground but even for other there's wide grassy areas for you to have a picnic or play a game far away from kids. The atmosphere is really nice. And for people who want to know about running on the circular trail, it takes about 4 laps around to get a mile. I also really like how the sidewalk connects right to the park so if you want, you could walk downtown as well. Again, really nice park, it's got a little something for everybody. Oh ya! The Zipline thing for kids, SUPER fun when you're alone later in the day.

IMPORTANT EDIT: This emphasizes how safe this park is. I roller skate around the loop there on a regular basis, apparently so regular I ran into the same old man over and over. Eventually he had the gall to sit next to me during my water break on a beach and try to get me to his house for a bottle of wine. I told him I was 17 and skated off but I was able to skate into a crowd of people not just away, I asked them to pretend I was in their group because he was following me and that's exactly what happened. I haven't seen him since and I'm grateful for that family. It's also across the road from a police station if I really had to make sure he stayed away from me.

My kids really enjoy this park! There's a great trail around the green space, play equipment for all ages, covered shelter and tables for eating/relaxing and a cute free library on the other side of the water feature. Truly enough activities to keep your children busy for a while.

I was disappointed to see how much trash people left laying around on the ground. I walked around and picked up an armful of trash before continuing to play with my kids.

Wow, what a nice park! The splash pad is large and has several fun toys for the kids, it's not just water shooting from the ground. This park is actually in 2 places, across the street from eachother, both parks have a zip line and lots of fun toys to play on, for both kids and adults! Both parks were very clean! Awesome park

My daughter has to go play at this park everytime we're at my uncles in Lee's Summit. She finally made it to the top of the big pyramid this year.

This is a very nicely laid out city park with a paved walking trail, a dog poop bag dispenser, pond, a playground for the kiddos including a zip-line, a covered pavilion, and bathrooms.
The northwest part of the park offers a great viewing spot for sunsets.
I like it for the above plus it is an ideal location for my Sidewalk Astronomy at the Park.

Great place to bring the kids to cool down. I have a 10 and a 7 year old, lots of things to do for both age groups. Splash park better for the younger (7 and below) kids. Love the addition of the large percussion instruments...

This place has history when I was little this is where I spent my summers ayimg baseball. The sandlots are all gone now and the park the was newly installed is wonderful. Full of trails, playgrounds, ponds, swing sets, and benches. There is also a skate park and a Waterpark. Don't forget the volleyball courts as well.

This is a great park! It's clean, it's safe, sometimes it's a little busy, but all around this is the park that my kiddos ask to go to the most! Even though they're afraid to climb to the top they love the huge rope climbing pyramid thing and the rock climbing as well as the sit-down zip code style thing. It's in a great neighborhood and even when it's busy everybody is nice respectful and there are people of all walks of life it gives that small town feel right in the middle of Lee's Summit!
