Don't know why I haven't written a review until now. I have been buying, selling, and repairing jewelry from this store for years. I bought my wife's engagement set here and my own personal wedding band. Karl (the owner) has low overhead and has very reasonable prices that the superstores don't and better quality. He also give the best scrap prices from at least Grain Valley to Independence. (I checked around when I first found him.) He is very friendly and has your best interests at heart. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Love Love Love this store and the people who own it. I found Then and Now a few years ago when I needed a ring repaired. Their estimate was reasonable (less) compared to other jewelers and they did a terrific job - since then I stop by occasionally to have rings cleaned, watch batteries etc., and to purchase an item here or there. I have found them to be very ethical and they have treated me very fairly on trade-ins and purchases. Recently my husband had my engagement diamond reset in a beautiful estate setting that Karl had. I loved it! If you need jewelry, repairs, or just a watch battery, I would highly recommend this store!!

Wonderful, locally-owned family business in a unique location Downtown Blue Springs. My wife and I received a more than fair price when going in to sell some estate jewelry that we just had lying around. We highly recommend Karl and his wife for any of your jewelry needs.

Came in to size some watches and replace a battery, Karl was so patient with the sizing I looked around and purchased another watch and a ring. Great customer service, sized up 3 watches and replaced a battery in my Bulova while I waited. Great service....

By far the best jewelry store in Missouri. Karl and his wife Bridget are really nice and always there to help. He is a honest man whom i never feel cheated by and always gives fair prices, most of the time way cheaper than competitors, even when buying old pieces of jewelry. Also he has really cheap watch batteries that are done while your waiting.
