I had the Terminator breakfast sandwich at Whistle Stop and it was so delicious. The bread was soft and delicious.. it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in a while. If your in the area stop by for breakfast, its worth it. Did I mention its a coffee shop...

Hot spot in Downtown Lee’s Summit! They have something on the menu for everyone - whether you’re looking for something cold or hot to drink or want something to eat, the selection is sure to satisfy! We’ve been to Whistle Stop dozens of times and have never had a bad experience.

This place has the best coffee. I am a sugar free, dairy free person and they have such a selection. They also have some amazing treats to go with your coffee. I highly recommend the quiche....give it a try. The atmosphere is warm and the staff is wonderful.

Good menu. Good workers. Good atmosphere. Two suggestions: make a section where you can't hear the music, for people like my wife and I who prefer quiet. Also the place was cold and the ceiling fans were on when we were there

I believe I found my new favorite coffee shop in Lees Summit! This place is great at any time of day. The food is off the charts and their coffee selection is balanced very well. On a hot summer day, there is nothing like their Almond Blossom Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold Foam. Or if you’re just here for the classics, they’ve got a good selection of roasts to choose from.

Now onto the vibe. Music playlist is fantastic. For seating you can choose from a variety of spots from the front main room, quieter back room, or enjoy some fresh air on their back patio. All have great natural light and provide the optimal environment for a weekend meetup, afternoon date, or study session. Love this place!

Wonderful local coffee shop with delicious breakfast options, including gluten free! Coffee was delicious and staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely stop if you're in the area!

Love it here! Only been here a few times, it’s so delicious though! The Carmel macchiato, is to die for as well as everything here. If you want social media worthy food or a cute coffee shop/cute downtown feel. Would suggest this place in a heart beat.

Came to town for the bookstore, will be coming back again for the coffeshop! This place is super cozy, and welcoming. I came in for a hot Chai latte and they asked me spiced or not, which is not a question I'm ever asked. I said normal which they told me it'd be spiced. I sat in a comfy corner bench as I waited and took in the atmosphere. Lots of smaller booths on the edges, lots of space in the middle for a communal gathering or study date.
This place seems like the perfect date start and end, come for the coffee, walk around the cute little town, end at the coffee shop before they close. They close a little early for my nightowl blood, 6pm, but honestly had to be in the top 5 Chai Lattes I've ever had. Will be back.

I hade a great experience here. Great sandwiches, I love their apple crunch sandwich. I can easily make half their menu at home. I'm inspired by there recipes! The pictures below are pictures of my sandwich that I got; it has chicken, honeycrisp apples, Dijon mustard, and aged cheddar cheese. It is so good! It's a weird combo, but it's so good! That's why I give it a five star.😊👌😋

Wow, what can I say... Came in for breakfast with my girl on an virtual school day and I'm so happy I did! The ladies running things here are simply FANTASTIC. They were very accommodating and made some scrambled eggs and sausage for the kiddo (not on the menu.) Thank you!!! The breakfast sandwich and drink of the week (cinnamon dulce latte) were delicious.

I've been to a Whistle Stop in my old hometown in Port Salerno Florida, but this one has a very very different atmosphere... and I mean that in a good way. I'll be back for sure! Thank you again!

The girls are always ready to help. I'm not really a coffee drinker, but my kids are. The young ladies behind the counter have always helped in picking out great coffee that my kids enjoyed.
They have art for sale (on the walls) and also had lovely fresh flowers at the tables.

I came with my mom, who doesn't visit coffee shops often and struggled with her order. The barista was SO sweet and patient. My mom loved her coffee, and my mango smoothie was fantastic. Cute place!

Really cute and cozy coffee shop in the beautiful downtown Lee’s Summit. Most historic downtowns I come across have been forgotten by the community. Lee’s Summit has not! It is full of life and many wonderful small businesses such as this coffee shop. It was a delicious start to the day. Thank you Whistle shop for your hospitality ❤

I have been here a couple times and when it's busy it can be hard to find a seat, but the coffee is great! They have a lot of food and snack options.

They have gluten-free options and dairy free milk options as well!

Love this cozy place! I used to go to Panera, until my daughter found this place. I love the home town atmosphere. Service is quick and polite. Menu is delicious!

Even though they were super busy, the team seemed happy to help explain a few things about their many, many flavors of coffee. On top of their friendly atmosphere and attitude, my Candied Orange latte came out amazing!!

Oh, I always look forward to a visit when I'm in the downtown Lee's Summit area! So excited for the new addition and new patio coming soon so we can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air! Today I got an oat milk rosemary pistachio latte, my goodness...it was heavenly! I'm not a fan of super sweet coffee drinks and this was absolutely perfect for my taste. I'm really diggin' the pistachio right now. So good!

This place is great. Amazing coffee and atmosphere. Way better than Starbucks. Wish they were everywhere, rather than Starbucks being everywhere.
