Our new vet! We are very, very happy with our grooming and vet services that we received. I asked them to check our pup in for sickness, and grooming, and come to find out he had an ear infection. I knew he’d been scratching his ears lately, but didn’t think too much of it. Welp, I should have! They are awesome!

We recently moved to Blue Springs and adopted my cat, Kumo, and I will always take him here! The staff are so friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They really care and it shows in the work they do. Thank you guys for helping me keep my baby boy healthy!

It was such a wonderful experience today when I took our new kitten in for his check up. After working 27 years as a veterinary receptionist myself, it was such a relief and honor to be treated as a cherished client. I will add that my two dogs boarded here back in June and did very well! We did suffer a tragic loss of one of our kitties the first day of our vacation back in June but we were able to take him to Cavanaugh where they handled his body and us with respect and compassion. Cavanaugh will get the pleasure of treating all of our pets! Thank you for making today an easy transition for me!

They are awesome with the German shepherds I have had. They explain things and don't try to push things on me like other animal hospitals have. Their pricing is also very fair.

Wanted to add another review. My German shepherd was hit by a car and I showed up unannounced to their hospital and they took him right in. Sent two people and a stretcher out to help me get him in. They stabilized him and kept him for two days so they could observe him as his breathing got better and till he could eat and drink. The communication from Dr. Cavanaugh and the rest of the staff was amazing. The care they showed made me 100% comfortable leaving my furry son with them. As I stated the first time I wrote in this review about price, I was actually surprised when I paid. I always want to pay less, but the bill was less than I was expected to get. I think it was very fair! Especially after experiences at other local pet hospitals that billed, billed, and billed.

We saw Dr Fleischmann and she was great!! Our tech, Emily, was both friendly and knowledgeable.

Sparki my dog loves it as do I. We've had family health emergencies and they have been caring and accommodating. The staff is professional and kind. Ben who is directly caring for the pets is wonderful, especially with my pup. Also I have the extra security knowing Dr Cavanaugh and staff are available should any health issues occur.
I've been visiting from Florida and it's been and extended stay. Thank you all at Cavanaughs.

Really an amazing vet. You can tell he cares and loves animals. Trustworthy. Very fair in pricing and medical suggestions. Staff is friendly and nice.

I started bringing my dog to Cavanaugh Pet Hospital in 2018 and they have done an amazing job with his routine checkups and especially the dental extractions that Dallas has needed almost yearly due to stomatitis. He is not an easy dog to deal with at the vet, and we were able to find ways to manage his behavior to make sure he gets his medical needs taken care of. I moved a little too far away and I have to switch pet hospitals, but I'll definitely miss the Cavanaugh team!

My dog had a pretty bad break of her dew claw right up next to the bone (I actually wasn't sure where, was concerned it was torn off instead of broke). I called and asked what they thought I should do and they were able to get me in a couple hours later. We went in and they got her in almost immediately and had her taken care of and patched up within less than 15 minutes, and a prescription another minute later. I was also very happily surprised by the cost of the bill. I was worried there was going to be some sort of excessive emergency service charge, but it was very reasonable. Very grateful to the staff that worked her in and took care of her so quick! Glad my sister recommended this place to me.

When we took our Siberian Husky in, she was very ill. Dr. Cavenaugh assessed her and ordered tests as well as medication. He called with results and treatment. She is now doing so much better. Dr. Cavanaugh is very thorough and professional as well as caring for his pet patients. We totally appreciate him and his staff.

I LOVE this place. I have been nothing but impressed with the staff here. The services I've used: I've had my dog seen here and purchased heartworm and flea/tick prevention as well as gotten him caught up on shots. The staff is always so kind and ready to help. I have boarded my dog here as well for overnight trips and travel. I feel the prices are fair and the service is exceptional. I started going here during Covid and they made the process seamless. Will continue to use them.

Thanks so much to Dr. Shrout for working with me to find the right combo of calming medicine to get my older, anxious dog across the country! She is doing well!

They did a wonderful job. With my boxer

Have only been here a couple of times but my experience has been good. The front office staff is really friendly and both vets I've see have been efficient and helpful. I've never felt like I've been talked into anything or that they're trying to gouge money from me. They're no nonsense and tell you if your pet needs something but the seem considerate of finances. I think their fees are pretty average and fair.

We've been bringing our pets here for years, and I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone who works there clearly loves animals and cares about their well-being. You'd think this would be a given at a vet's office, but in my experience that's not the case.

Every single one of the vets, vet techs, and other employees has been genuinely kind and respectful. They take the time to get to know you and your pets, they are willing to answer questions/discuss your pet's health in depth, and to offer as many options as possible. Unlike some offices, they don't instantly jump to medication and expensive procedures. If they can avoid that level of expenses and stress, they will. As long as I have pets, I will be happy to trust their health to this veterinary practice.

You couldn't ask for a better person or better vet then Dr Cavanaugh. Completely trust him with my babies and I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my animals. I can not say enough wonderful things about him and his staff! I also don't know what I'd do without Mary, she is amazing and has gotten me through so many difficult situations and eased my anxiety more times then I can count. Amanda Sherry and Linda have put up with me for years and every time I call are kind caring and patient no matter the situation . I am grateful to them all.

It was my first time there and I brought in a stray kitten that had adopted our family. He needed a check up and initial care. The staff were fantastic and Dr. Cavanaugh gave us his undivided attention. I will be back!
