A Better Choice Preschool

My kids attended preschool and summer camp at ABC Preschool and it was such a positive experience for our whole family! The director, Hilary Graves, has created such a warm, welcoming environment and a curriculum that truly prepares kids for kindergarten. All of the teachers are expert educators and my kids were so excited to see their teacher each day! As someone who tends to worry, I felt so comfortable dropping them off at ABC Preschool. I truly appreciated the small class sizes and consistent communication that was provided. I highly recommend ABC Preschool!

Absolutely amazing! We’ve had 3 kiddos graduate A Better Choice Preschool and we would do it all over again. The teachers are wonderful; each bringing their own energy and personality, as well as the owner. Such a wonderful greeting from all to start your day.

While I love how my girls were ready and prepared on the education side of things for kindergarten, I appreciate the emotional and social development the school emphasizes as well - fostering such growth. Communication is solid amongst teachers and parents. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our girls and feel very grateful for the experience A Better Choice Preschool provided.

My older 2 attended here and my youngest is starting soon. I love all of the teachers and staff here. Miss Andrea is amazing and we love her! What I love most about this preschool is that they teach the kids how to navigate their feelings and social interactions with others. I believe that is very important and is the reason I wanted my kids to go to a preschool before Kindergarten. I also love that we have the time to talk with the teachers and staff to get to know them and hear more about our kids' days.

We have been with ABC Preschool for 3 years, with two children going through the program, and I can't say enough good things about this school! The school curriculum and philosophy are outstanding, and both of our sons were absolutely and completely prepared for kindergarten. Wonderful staff, wonderful program, and wonderful teachers!!!

ABC Preschool is amazing! They are affordable and the staff is so friendly. My daughter learned so much there.They really go above and beyond! My oldest went there for 2 years and I will definitely be sending my other kids. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a preschool. Hands down the best in town!!

ABC Preschool was THE only option I considered when enrolling my oldest son for his first academic experience. Both of my sisters sent ALL of their children to ABC, and raved about the success and growth their children experienced, as well as their respect for teachers. We could not be more thrilled with the loving environment ABC teachers have created, in which ALL children feel safe exploring and learning. I am AMAZED at how much my little on has learned, both socially and academically. ABC is like second family to us. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our little one. Now, we have enrolled number two for next Fall!! Thank you ABC!

After checking out many different preschools and being disappointed, I finally came across ABC Preschool. Let me tell you it was a breath of fresh air!! This preschool is what I always imagined what a preschool should be like. All of the teachers are kind, loving, educated and always smiling. My daughter has loved coming here from the first day and she has learned and grown so much from these amazing teachers.They got her kindergarten ready (Thank you lades)!! You have become more of a second family for us. Can't wait until her little sister gets to come here. ☺

We can't say enough good things about ABC preschool and their lovely staff! After going only 2 mornings a week at age 3, my son knew all the letters and the sounds they make, by 4 he could count to 100 and say the pledge of allegiance, and now at 5 he's beginning to read! I am constantly amazed at the things he's learned in just a few hours a week! He loves the school and we are confident that he's ready to start kindergarten in the fall. My daughter will start this summer and when our baby turns 3, we'll for sure be sending him there too!

My son and daughter have both attended ABC preschool from age 3; my daughter is in her last year before kindergarten. My son started with Regina Ward when ABC preschool was still in her home, and my daughter has enjoyed the brand new ABC preschool location, located on 5th street in Lee's Summit, in an extremely charming old home, under the teaching of Katy Lautzenhiser. I cannot say enough good things about ABC preschool. It has always thrived upon word of mouth recommendations, and I know many friends and my 2 sisters also take their children there. The teachers provide an enriching and safe environment for the children, and they pair children between ages 3 and 5 together so that they can learn from older peers. They also offer kindergarten readiness classes for the pre-kindergarten children only. My son and daughter have both been extremely prepared for kindergarten. Quarterly report cards come home with updates, and an early reading program is in place, for children ready for that step. It is clear that Miss Regina and Mrs. Katy have left very positive impacts on my children; they have a great fondness for them. The day is structured between free play, center time, and more structured learning time. It is an incredibly friendly and bright atmosphere, with small classes of 10 children each. I have heard great reviews on all of the teachers from my friends/sisters. They make each child feel special, and work with each child at their own pace. They set learning expectations for parents, to understand how children learn at their own pace. ABC preschool is like a family; it's warm, friendly, welcoming, and top notch staff and education for our precious pre-schoolers.

We love ABC preschool. The teachers are all kind and gentle. They are very understanding and caring and I have been very amazed by how much my little one has learned in her time here. We will be returning next year also.
