I've been seen by both Francis and Joanna and I have had only positive experiences so far. Hurd Family Dental has done a great job of easing the anxiety of going to the dentist by creating a relaxing environment with friendly staff that ensure you're comfortable.

I have been a long time patient of over 10 years even from before they moved to Lee's Summit from Blue Springs. Now I have moved about 30-40 minutes away but still make the drive because I can't imagine going anywhere else. Very well kept facilities, professional staff, and Dr. Hurd is great at communicating about your teeth and fielding any questions I have had about mine. Highly recommend Hurd family dental!

Our family's experience with the Hurd practice has been excellent. The care/expertise has been great and the interaction with the entire team has been wonderful. You want great care ... and it's really nice to have an engaging/pleasant staff to work with!!

Best dental experience I've ever had. Super clean, super friendly, super professional. They really took the time to make me feel comfortable. I'll never go to a different dentist again. Sandy was amazing, Joanna went above and beyond to take care of me.

My appointments in this office result in the BEST dental care I've every received. Everyone - - from the folks at the front desk to the guy who takes out the trash - - is kind, professional, and genuinely friendly. The docs are humble, they are some of the best in their business, and they do their work with nothing less than perfection. I highly recommend this office and team for anyone of any age needing dental work. They set the bar high.

I saw Dr. F. Hurd today based on a recommendation of someone else. I had intermittent tooth pain.

I love the family friendly atmosphere. I love that their office is not massive with tons of empty rooms. I was greeted when I open the door, I was called back at my appointment time. It was like going to a hometown dentist back in the 50s and 60s but with modern ”amenities” (dental stuff). The billing lady was there and understood the options very well.

Comparison:
My prior dentist has a really huge practice, (the physical office space; not talking about the number of patients), I feel that they always offered the highest end option, so I paid more out-of-pocket instead of letting my insurance take care of it all.

About 2/3 of the office space was empty at any given time, in the six years I was going there, I don’t believe myself or my daughter had ever been called in on time; regardless if we were the first appointment of the day, typically it was no less than 20 to 30 minutes after our set appointment time. Really really nice office staff and dentists. I just felt like I was paying for alot of wasted overhead.

Hurd Family Dental did an excellent job making my Girlfriend and I feel comfortable and at home on our first visit. Very friendly staff, everyone spoke and had a smile on their face. Looking forward to my next appointment. I would recommend this office.

Absolutely amazing staff and experience. It has never felt like it was about "the money" they are all about making you feel comfortable and stopping if you need them to. My daughter was very comfortable getting her teeth cleaned and Dr Hurd was fabolous with her when it came to having a cavity filled. This office is fabolous even the receptionist is wonderful. All around a great place!

My appointment today was a great experience, which you never hear regarding a dental appointment! Office personnel were fantastic and Dr Francis Hurd is by far the best dentist I have EVER been to. I never give a review for anything but this time I had to.

My life has been plagued by Dental problems. I have always had a childhood fear of the Dentist. However, Dr. Francis Hurd made me feel comfortable and safe. I had a root Canal and a filling in the same visit. It was fast , painless and reasonable for the caliber of work that was done. I can't recommend this office more. The staff was friendly, inviting and also helpful. GO HURD DENTISTRY!

It is always nice (if such a thing can be said about going to the dentist!) to go to Hurd Family Dental. It is a pleasure to deal with everyone in the office, secretaries, dental hygienist (sorry forgot her name), and Dr. Hurd. People are treated there with respect, care, and competence.

I brought my two kiddos in to Hurd Family Dental today. The hygienists were AMAZING with my kiddos. My daughter actually asked me if she could go back tomorrow. Wonderful experience!

Love Drs. Hurd. Have now taken my young adult children there. My son happens to have autism and did very well there. Would recommend to anyone.

Everyone is very friendly, good atmosphere which helps if going to the dentist makes you anxious like me :)

The Hurds are the best in town! I drive all the way to Lee's Summit to see these two awesome Dentists.
