Funeral directors were very professional and gave personal attention like it was one of their loved one's. I buried both my Mother and Father with in a year. I am now planning my Funeral with Langford Funeral Home.

My sister passed away Oct 5th & Jeremy at Langsford Funeral Home helped my family plan her service. Jeremy & staff were wonderful & so accommodating to our needs. Jeremy introduced me to Pastor Kip Nelson & he led a beautiful service for us.

Recently had to have two burials at two separate locations on the same day, Blue Springs and Lees Summit. Jeremy handled all the logistics flawlessly. He made a difficult situation as pleasant a situation as possible. The staff are outstanding professionals. He treated my mother in law and wife with the utmost respect and dignity. Jeremy has earned my complete and total trust.

I have to say Langsford did an amazing job facilitating my husband’s entire service with grace and respect! They helped me very promptly and put us all at ease since we were all from out of state. Great referral on a pastor (Kip) as well! He also did a fabulous job honoring my husband!
Thank you!

My beloved mother passed in May 2021. I would like to, Thank your staff at the funeral home for their love and support, especially for Ashley who was so genuinely sincere, very professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, but most of all, a very calm and sweet lady who helped with the funeral arrangements and made sure the funeral was absolutely beautiful and It was. You are one of a kind! Ashley.

People were so caring and preparation of the body done so eloquently. The special celebration of life was in their beautiful chapel. I recommended them to all of my family

My dad died unexpectedly and too young, and my family was in a bit of a state of shock trying to plan everything. Jeremy was extremely helpful and kind the entire time, helping take some of the burden of organizing and planning off of our hands. He helped call around to several churches trying to find us a place to have a service, which was difficult during COVID times. Since my dad was a veteran, he helped organize the military service and is assisting us with getting his cremains interred at my dad's military cemetery. I'm still unsure about the necessity of the paper goods, not sure if the quality of the products is strictly worth the expense, but ultimately I'm pleased with our experience.

I will say that the makeup for the viewing was a little chalky, definitely got some "Twilight" vibes with the paleness on the face. Oh well. I know there are probably limitations when it comes to mortuary makeup, but a little warmth/tan would have been more realistic.

Hard to find in the old town location of Lee's Summit. Decent amount of parking.

My extended family used Langsford this past week to make the arrangements for the passing of someone too young from cancer. First, a positive comment which is fair to validate a strength of their service. The Funeral Home responded in a timely and professional manner when our family member passed sooner than had been expected. The overall arrangements were executed as planned and details covered for which we are grateful. But that is where the positive experience ends. From the moment we entered the front door less than 18 hours after the passing of our family member, there was a complete lack of compassionate care, starting with no expression of condolences or even mention of care for our family. It was simply on to "business" or an invitation in the words of Clint, to the "arrangement room". The process priority and focus was on paperwork with little explanation even when we expressed confusion, including a focus on what we could and could not do even when we asked "are you sure". In fact, we found out later that some of those things could be done. Our arranger made no suggestions, offered no guidance even when we asked for it, and this was what we were looking for since none of us had planned a funeral before. If you are looking for a funeral home that will execute on the arrangements, Langsford will deliver. If you are hoping in your time of grief, confusion, and sadness to find both compassionate care and a partner in the arrangements to guide you thru a process you never thought you would be in, I suggest you find another Funeral Home.

After the unexpected passing of my 19 year old nephew, I went in to discuss with them the options of services. A wonderfully nice young woman named Avery (I believe) helped me. We decided that a cremation and a visitation would be best. I left to discuss things with my sister (his mother) and told them we would be in contact. After doing some searching, my father found that the Cremation Society of Ks, & Mo would do the same thing for half the price. We made those arrangements and I called to let Langsford know that we were have the cremation done somewhere else, but would love to have the services there. The man told me that the price would then be higher than what was quoted just 2 days pryer. When I asked why he was extremely rude and said quote " When we do work with a customer and make arrangements with them, then don't here for them for days. Just to find out we are not good enough for them, but they wanna USE us for a place to go.... then things change" I was nearly speechless. When I gathered myself and explained that money was a huge factor and we had to go with what was affordable. But that we still liked them for the services. He told me " maybe you should just find something that you CAN afford. Shocked again I said " so you would rather have none of my money than some of my money?" His reply was snarky and simply, "Im just trying to help you out" I commented that perhaps he possible forgot what line of work he was in and that doing this occupation has made him heartless and callus to the situation at hand.

My advise...... DO NOT BOTHER! It's not worth the money to deal with such people while you are also trying to deal with the heartache you are already faced with in the sad time. We ended up going with the Cremation Society and Unity Village for the services. Which were both wonderful, very accommodating and collectively coust less than just the cremation with Langsford Funeral home!!!

Hope I could be of help

NO understanding, NO compassion, NO help at all! Considering the business they are in, They should not be dealing with people in such delicate situations. Shame to have to put up with those sort of people while grieving the loss of someone you care for. They are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! Not about the people
