Employees that helped me on December 12 2002 were professional and helped get my application for the Quad program completed within 1 hour. Not only did they get the job done but called me and let me know I was accepted. They also sent an email. Thank you so much .

I enjoy the new system of checking in with your phone number. I was able to go back to my car and make phone calls until they were ready to service me, unlike standing in a line waiting my turn. I would give the customers inside a negative review if I could, complaining about not being able to just walk back anymore(either way you’re waiting I don’t understand). everything was easy and simple, Alice was great. Security was also very helpful.

I called for help with documents needed and the lady who answered the phone was soooo nice and so patient. Thank you for your kindness. Wish I had her name. Awesome

I have never been to a courthouse and been thoroughly pleased with the service as I am with this one .... and in each offc...very helpful

Wish I had gotten the name of the lady I had talked too, but I called about some property taxes I was missing and she was polite, professional and very helpful in getting me on the right path to claim my property and pay my taxes so I could renew my tags!

For anyone who has never been here before, I would suggest reading this review. These are things I wish I would've known before coming here.

1. Show up before open (open is 8am). I made the mistake of showing up after open and the line was very long outside the door. If you show up too late, all the slots for the day will be filled up and you have to come back another day. I will say, the line did move very fast. I only stood outside for maybe 10 minutes.
2. Bring something to do, other than your phone or prepared to leave immediately after you get inside. After you tell them what you're here for, you're put in a queue. You could be waiting for up to several hours to be seen. The later you show up, the longer you have to wait to be seen.

Once I was seen, the process was very quick and simple. The waiting around is literally the worst part. I didn't anticipate waiting for 6 hours to be seen.

Total unaccountable for any of their collectable mistakes , incoming paper returned data , collected mistake filled , collections , balances , Lost data , billings . Like most employees of Federal & State Agencies , Know as long as they show up for work CANT BE FIRED ... * long list of the WHY you can't fire me for being incompetent... Kind of like going to the VA.

As many others have said, wish I could give zero stars. The process of getting a car registered in Jackson County is asinine, it's no wonder you see people driving around with temp tags that expired 4 years ago. It would literally be easier and quicker to just move across state line and register your car in Kansas and then move back

Would rate 0 stars if possible. I've registered vehicles in 3 other states and never had much of a problem. Missouri for some reason decided to be the absolute worst at it and make the system complicated before you even get to the DMV! The people who work here are not the problem, it's entirely the people who put this horrible system in place. Makes me want to move back to Kansas.

Horrible customer service. Rude! On hold for over an hour. 1 person told me to hold she would get right back to me, 2nd person said she was in the wrong department, 3rd person picked up and promptly clicked off.

Doing your jobs and answering your phones in the first 10 min of holding would be great, but the city of Kansas City is full of lazy people who can’t do their jobs
