Liberty Bend Conservation Area

It's is a cool trail and a nice hike. Plenty of great views of the river and the forest. There is poison ivy like mad, so do know what to look for and avoid it.
The bad part is, there are weirdos. If you are a man by yourself, you're going to probably get "looked at". If you hike alone, keep yourself alert and able defend, disable and run. While it is a maintained area and quite safe for the most part, I would not recommend doing any trail alone without having proper self defense techniques and training.

This is a decent little piece of conservation land that's inside city limits. If you're a bow hunter and want a quick in town spot to go there are plenty of deer and some big bucks to choose from !

Great walk and scenery. Mostly flat and easy walk along the river with trails going further Into the Woods if you like. A hidden gem

Would be nice if it is better maintained.Lot of drug users/ dealers in the parking lot and along the trails.

Nice place to get out in the wild...2 plus miles of trails one way
