The Cake Pan

A month before May 12th, I ordered a birthday cake for the same weekend as graduation and Mothers Day. They didn’t hesitate and accepted my order. The cake was delicious and many asked where I got it!

I had three cake tastings for my wedding and by the fourth one I was done. But then I decided to give The Cake Pan a chance before I just gave up. They won hands down! No if ands or butts about it Vanessa‘s cakes and cupcakes are absolutely The best, not only in BlueSprings but in all of Kansas City. Her customer service and her professionalism is through the roof and I would recommend her cakes and supplies to anyone That wants five star quality!

I took the Valentine's cookie decorating class with Vanessa. Hands down best cookies! I took my son and we had loads of fun decorating our cookies, but more so getting to eat them!🤤 Vanessa is a great technique teacher and very knowledgeable. I love it so much I may do every class she has.

I ordered a partial naked cake with fresh berries for a 2nd birthday party and the cake was amazing. Way bigger than I thought it would be. So pretty and tasted amazing! The cake flavor itself was perfect, moist and just the right amount of frosting. Highly recommend

The Cake Pan made a wonderful cake for my granddaughters graduation party plus cupcakes and mints. I was told by one of the guests that they had been to 7 grad parties and we had the best desserts! Thank you for the beautiful presentation! We couldn't ask for more!

Our wedding was on October 1st. The cake was ready on time and was the most delicious cake we have had. It was very moist and flavorful. The decorations were elegant and beautiful. The cake definitely helped make our wedding the most special day we could have. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time learning how to decorate cookies. Vanessa and her team really outdid themselves, looking forward to their next class.

Used The Cake Pan for my wedding many years ago and was so pleased. I attended a wedding recently who also used The Cake Pan and I was interested to see the quality/taste since the ownership has changed. The cake was just as delicious. I will continue to recommend!

I needed a last minute cake idea for my mothers birthday traveling from North Carolina to Kansas. I stopped in, and Kathy did an awesome job with a custom cake made out of all kinds of flavors of cupcakes. Amazing job done within 30 minutes! It was a big hit and the cakes were moist and delicious!! You can tell that these are made from scratch. Definitely recommended!

I would like to say Vanessa at The Cake Pan provided excellent service in helping me prepare for my daughters baby shower. During my set up last minute I was missing an item, I called her and she drove over to the venue just so I would not go without it! The cupcakes and treats were delicious and the fake cake was awesome. I wish I had taken a picture of the table to share but I missed doing that!

Order two cakes for birthday party. They were excellent, everyone loved them. One vanilla sheet cake with vanilla icing, the other yellow cake with chocolate frosting round cake. They were incredibly beautiful and everyone loved how well they tasted. The price was fair, decent for a cake for any occasion. Will definitely use them again.

I recently needed 1 cake board round and box and The Cake Pan had my item available and very reasonably priced. I love being able to go here and pick up what I need, and supporting a local business. Win, Win!
While in things had changed, The Cake Pan has taken on new ownership and it looks fantastic!

This store is awesome! I have been going here for over 15+ years! They always have what I need and always are helpful with ideas of how to accomplish whatever my cake idea is! I have taken several cake decorating classes and candy making classes here! Kathy is awesome! They have every pan I have ever needed and their cakes taste wonderful!

I love this store! I am here multiple times a year! Kathy has every size & shape cake pan imaginable, from odd shapes to letters of the alphabet to Disney characters. Every year my children love to go in her store & pick out the cake they want me to make for their birthdays. If you can imagine it, she has the cake pan & supplies you need to make that special cake a reality! She has pastry bags, every tip design possible, cake boxes, food coloring, flavors, edible & non-edible decorations for your cakes in stock. And for those who aren't home bakers, Kathy can create any flavor & shape cake you can dream up! Her wedding cakes are just as delicious as they are beautiful! I send every one I know here! Don't waste your time hunting around Walmart or Hobby Lobby, go to The Cake Pan, I'm positive she'll have what you're looking for.

They helped my wife learn how to use a butterfly plunge cutter on fondant. It was the first time my wife did fondant cutters. Great people. Small town atmosphere with great prices on most items. Well worth the trip to see if they have what you want or need.

You're in for a treat when you stop in at The Cake Pan!! Kathy has THE LARGEST selection of cupcake liners in the entire KC metro area! And she also is THE PLACE to go for all of you who Do-It-Yourself because of her selection of cake pans and the tiny rental fee she charges! I must say though that her made-from-scratch cake EVERY SINGLE TIME, along with using the highest quality ingredients for both the cake and frosting puts The Cake Pan out front of her competition! The "icing" on top of that is how Kathy will go above and beyond assuring you have exactly the cake you envisioned! You will always walk out with a cake that you are absolutely thrilled with! I went to the Cake Pan to pick up some cupcakes for a meeting. I put my order in around 10:00 that morning and stopped by to pick them up at 5:00 that evening. The flavors were out of this world good! Thank you Kathy for putting such care into your cakes!

I had a small simple wedding cake made and it was delicious. I had chocolate, white, and lemon. My guests loved it. The cake was not too moist nor too dry. The owner was very sweet and I could tell that she really loves what she does and very passionate.

I like cake but cannot say that I’ve ever been a frosting person. Kathy changed that when she brought a box of cupcakes by my office for us to try and they were AMAZING. That box did not last at all. If you need sweets for your next event The Cake Pan is the place to go.
