Woodstock Inn Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful one-night stay while in town for the Beyoncé concert. We were greeted at the door with lemonade cupcakes and instantly felt welcomed by the host and the other guests. Accommodations were cute and cozy, and we loved the attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious and again, we had nice conversations with hosts and guests alike. Wish we had more time here! So delightful!

Such a quaint BnB! We enjoyed staying here for our 1st time on a little staycation here in KC. A hidden gem in Independence with lots to do and places to eat and shop at. Jess, our hostess, was so welcoming and lovely!! We stayed in the Italia room and it was perfect!

We stayed for one night, in the Scandinavian Room, on a road trip. Good location and easy parking. Debbie was an excellent hostess. Clean and comfortable room and a good breakfast. Easy walking distance to the Truman Home and several restaurants (try Dave's Bakery for lunch and Cafe Verona for dinner).

This place was such a great stay! It was very homey with a quaint feel of comfort. The staff was extremely helpful and so pleasant. 10/10 recommend on staying here. Super close to the stadium!! Once we got our of the stadium traffic I would say it was about 6-8 minutes away from where everything stops with streets shut down to clear the stadium. 😃 So convenient! 🤗. My girlfriend and I really loved all of the antique style furniture and the decor. Was just a very neat little place to stay with some history.

Charming inn with comfortable, clean rooms and lots of personal touches that made it a perfect “home base” for us during our weekend in KC. There’s complimentary coffee, soda and water in main room and desserts on the table each afternoon in addition to the homemade breakfast each morning. Debbie is an attentive and accommodating innkeeper. She even made eggs for my husband and me for breakfast when she noticed we didn't finish our initial plate, as neither of us are huge fans of French toast. We stayed in the gorgeous Italian room with the spa tub and fireplace. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept so well even though I usually have trouble sleeping away from home. The inn is in a great location if you are planning to catch a few Royals games which is what we did. Will definitely be returning in the future!

I have stayed at many B&B and this one was one of the best. Very attentive host, private bath rooms with luxurious linens. There were delicious snacks out every afternoon. Games, books and DVD’s for entertainment. Decorating was tastefully beautiful. The breakfast was to die for and would cook an alternative if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved staying here! From its location to the kind people who run the place. I plan on coming back again, no doubt. The minute we walked in, we were greeted so politely and shown our room and we were free to come and go whenever. Our room was beautiful, we had the English King. They have all kinds of themed rooms that differ and have their own private bathrooms. They also have a public living space downstairs. They serve you breakfast in the morning and i think it was the best breakfast ive ever had. The sweet ladies even gave us directions and ideas to some places to go to and things to do since me and my husband have never been to the area before. I would love to stay here again!

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast, and we were impressed by this location.
The interior was decorated very nicely. Each room has their own theme, and any of them would be worth staying in.
There's an outdoor patio area that looks like a good spot to hang out, it was still too cold for us to go out and enjoy it.
The innkeeper is very friendly, makes good conversation, and makes a good breakfast.

This place was beautiful! We stayed in the English room which was amazing! Very clean room with spa tub. The bed was very comfortable! So elegant and clean! We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back! I love all the European themes of the rooms. The backyard Was beautiful! The breakfast was amazing!! The innkeeper was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

This is just more than a place to stay while in town... Woodstock Inn was home away from home. Kim and Robin were the best hostesses and inn keepers. So friendly and accommodating. They truly treated you like family. This place was not only beautiful and inviting but it was clean, organized and was well themed. Kim has great taste and an eye for decor. My room was the Italian Suite that included a hot tub that was absolutely fabulous, fire place, bathroom with a tub/shower combo, TV with DVD, and a king size bed that was mighty comfortable. You don't have to hang out in your room the whole time either. There is a TV room that is cozy, you may sit at the dining room table anytime, or weather permitting outside. The breakfast was AMAZING! It was hearty, filling and tasted delicious. They also have a coffee and tea bar that was stocked and fresh. During the late afternoon/evening there was something freshly baked to eat such as cookies or brownies. This place was located quite close to Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City Zoo and places to eat and shop. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone staying in Kansas City.

Cleanliness, service, food, attention to detail
Quiet, unassuming urban respite. We decided to adventure out of our normal for this anniversary. What a pleasant surprise! Freshly baked cookies, coffee available 24 hrs daily, sumptuous bed and bath linens that caress the body, wonderful breakfast entrees, and the room - for our special day they had rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed! Attention to small details such as this are what make this place special. Having health issues, I have to check and disinfect before I settle in. This place was CLEAN. Kim, Nancy and the ladies made us feel more than welcome at every turn. We weren't sure what to expect by the name but, the service, cleanliness, and care to detail have made us sin the praises of Woodstock Inn.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! me and the wife have been here twice and both times were amazing. This last time we stayed we stayed in the French room and let's just say this will now be the only place we stay when we get a break from the 3 kids and get alone time. Breakfast is amazing. The inn keeper mark is not only a wonderful host but a phenomenal cook.

Kim and her amazing staff are dedicated to superior quality in every detail of your stay. I stayed in the Scottish Room which was cozy and comfortable. I was privileged to attend the Desert Club hosted by the Inn. Delicious food and live entertainment made for an unforgettable evening. Breakfast the next morning was one of the highlights of my stay. I highly recommend staying the Woodstock Inn. You deserve it!

Our family (my husband, and I and our two little girls) really enjoyed this place. We stayed in the Scotland room and had plenty of space to enjoy our stay. The staff and owners are amazing and super kind to any needs. Great place to stay.

My husband and I wanted to do a bed and breakfast for fun. Woodstock was wonderful! We enjoyed the beautiful room! Pam was super helpful and welcoming! The breakfast is homemade and there were chocolate chip cookies every night!!
The location is awesome - we were able to walk to Cafe Verona (super delicious) and enjoy the downtown scenery!
We would definitely like to come back!!

This is our time staying at woodstock b and b . We were greeted at the door by the owner Kim. She was very joyful, and welcoming. She gave us a tour of the Inn and was very knowledgeable about the history, which we found very interesting. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. ( We are celebrating our 21 wedding Anniversary). The honeymoon sweet is just beautiful. Very very clean as well as inviting. The jacuzzi in our room was very clean and was wonderful. I can not say enough about wonderful this inn is! Everytime we seen Kim she ALWAYS had time to chat and always has a smile. This inn is just. Wonderful ! We will most definitely be back❤

Amazing bed and breakfast. My husband and I stayed for two nights in the Italian room. The room was very comfortable with a huge whirlpool tub. Pam is a great innkeeper. She answered questions about the inn, the area and local attractions. Pam even adjusted the breakfast the second day to deal with dietary preferences. Would definitely recommend the Woodstock Inn.

Omg! We stayed in the Italian suite with a jacuzzi tub. The room has a king bed that left me rested like an Italian queen after a 30 minute soak in the Jacuzzi. I enjoyed our stay here so much I will be back for a weekend get away and a later date!

My friend and I stayed overnight at Woodstock Inn B&B just for fun the day before we got our second Covid vaccinations. It was WONDERFUL! We were given a personal tour, provided with evening snacks & drinks and were given a delicious breakfast the next morning. The rooms were beautiful, the beds SO comfortable and our visit memorable. We will book again!
