Very nice clean and organized Range. Staff was nice and the range provided good directions for experienced and novicists at the range. Price is EXCELLENT but may have to drive a bit to get to this location. Big thanks to the staff for sharing there is a sister site closer to me.

Took my 2 sons who are 9 and 14 out to shoot some guns. Started at the skeet/trap area and meet with welcoming supervisor who was also helpful with my oldest who drew a liking to the trap shoot.

We later moved to the range to shoot some 22 and pistols. Facility is quite strict and would honestly prefer it this way with multiple people in the range area. I agree with the safety and sticking to the operating procedures. We are not on our own land and don’t know the level or experience and expertise with this close proximity shooting neighbors.

Great place to go. Best experience I've had, people are wholesome and happy. Had a great time with my wife and 7 yr old son

The best range in the Kansas City Missouri area! Affordable for even the most meger of budgets. State of the art facility for the cost of a coffee at Starbucks. One of the few State run services where you actually get a real time benefit out of you tax dollars ! Extremely helpful,friendly and professional staff!

Just visited for the first time today. Staff and facilities were great. The rifle range is perfect for bench work. The setup and flow is quite smooth and easy to get the hang of. Will most likely be back tomorrow.

Just visited for the first time before closing. Love this place. Common sense setup for bench work on the rifle side. Have yet to explore the rest but a great facility overall so far.

Went here to range in my rifle, nice clean range, strict but patent staff (which is what you want at a gun range). Will be returning with friends. It was superbly priced! The only down side is it should be open later in the evening people should be able to go put a few rounds down range after work.

Very helpful volunteers at the skeet range. I am a rookie and a woman. I felt very comfortable with all the help I got. Staff at the office were friendly when I paid. Nice facility.

Awesome place to shoot! Staff very professional and keep it safe for all to shoot. Staff is quick to call people out if doing something in their opinion incorrect. That makes me feel better about bringing my kids there to shoot.
Would highly recommend shooting at LCR. Way better then the old shooting range they ran across the street.

The price is fantastic, 5 stars! They give you free targets, 5 stars! Their distances on the range aren't marked or made easily known. I give them 4 stars because I think it is 10 yard increments. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful if you need pointers on shooting, 5 stars! Best place to go...if it isn't raining...the only downside is having to stop shooting during ceasefire to change targets instead of having the electonic target retrieval system...but it's $3!!! Doesn't get better than that!! Only downside is the hours...3 stars for that but still a great value!

AWESOME public range. They have an eagle eye on the pistol and rifle range and will let you know if your breaking a rule. Great price $4/hour on pistol/rifle and $4 for skeet/trap round (25 birds).

Super clean range that’s ADA accessible with simple rules. Clear signage for instructions plus staff that take pride in their jobs meant I walked away very impressed.

It is a very good range. You can shoot shotgun slugs at the pistol range. However for buckshot you are limited to having a minimum distance of 25 yards. This makes pattering buckshot for close range not really viable. Otherwise it is a great place to go. You can also shoot rifles and carbines at the pistol range.

excellent place to sight in your rifle or hit some paper with a handgun. The range staff can get alittle anal but thats their job and they are trying to keep everyone safe. They dont know if you are a military sniper or some idiot that just bought his first rifle. Follow some simple rules and you are good to go.

Friendly, helpful staff. Many rules vigilantly enforced which makes the range as safe as possible. Lake City Range is the gold standard for how a range should be operated.

Very nice shooting facility. Pay close attention to the range officer's directions and you'll do just fine.
