I ordered a birthday cake for a 40th birthday and it was exactly what I wanted. Communication was great, cake looked perfect, and it tasted even better. It got so many compliments!

We love the cookies from Cookie Jar Bakery in Lee’s Summit! They're really delicious and beautiful! The staff worked with us on our daughter’s bridal shower cookies, and then for her baby shower as well! If you give them an idea of what you like, or a theme, they will design something great!! I highly recommend them for your next event!

The Cookie Jar is an excellent bakery! I sent an email to get a quote on cupcakes for my son's birthday party. I quickly received a friendly reply and Lisa was kind enough to answer my additional questions. The smell inside the bakery was AMAZING when I arrived for pick up. The cupcakes were done on time and absolutely beautiful. The colors I requested for the icing were perfect. Most important of all, they were DELICIOUS!! The icing was creamy and not too sweet and the cake was moist and perfect. I highly recommend the cookie jar!

Super nice people. I couldn't help but leave a 5 star review on this place because for one, support local and this place is a hidden gem. Well worth paying a little extra for a cheesecake that has to be one of the absolute best I have ever had. Turtle cheesecake I would highly recommend though I'm sure any of them are just as good. You can taste the love and pride and quality she puts into her work here. So before you decide to buy a grocery store standard, remember "the cookie jar bakery" in downtown Lees Summit, MO does it RIGHT. Make sure you order atleast a week in advance. It's that good.

We loved the cake so much that we forgot to take pictures beforehand! This is a 9" round, I asked for dark chocolate cake and the flavor was exquisite 🌟 Good design, we loved the chocolate ganache drip, a reasonable price as well. Thank you very much Lisa for your help, recommendations, and flexibility. I'll definitely be back to try out some other goodies

Ordered cookies and a cake for my sons 1st birthday. They were easy to work with and reasonably priced. Everything turned great and delicious, the cookies were a huge hit!

I asked for some cookies for my daughter's tea party with friends, giving free reign to whatever she thought would fit the occasion. Oh my word, they are PERFECT! The girls were delighted, and they tasted so good! Superb 👌

Went for the first time today, owner was so helpful in answering questions and everything looked so good. Decided to get a couple of things including their award winning salted caramel brownie, a strawberry bar, the best banana nut muffin ever, and a lemon bar. The lemon bar was definitely my favorite and I’d go back just for those!

Quaint and friendly local bakery with interesting and fresh breakfast/dessert options. Owner was extremely nice and seems willing to make custom options for pies/cakes. I have never been disappointed.

I absolutely love the Cookie Jar Bakery, their sweets are amazing and the owner Lisa is very good at what she does. Do you need a cake for a birthday or a special occasion along with some cookies that are so creatively iced, well she does all of that too. You will not be disappointed in anything she does I assure you.

I called this place to have special cookies made to look like sun flowers and a cake shaped as a sunflower. Wow, they were a hit at a wedding shower. So delicious and beautiful!!!! I highly recommend thia place, the owner is so sweet and really knows her stuff. Use this place!!!!

This is my "go-to" place for business meeting treats. They enhance the esthetic value of a good impression, but most of all....yes! They are delicious! There are a variety of options to choose from, and they are unique. They are even able to custom design cookies for you. Location easy to get to near charming downtown Lee's Summit, no problems parking in their front lot for a quick in and out. If this is a well-kept secret from you, it should be no more. Support your local small business and pop in to the Cookie Jar...they won't mind if you get your hand caught! Lol.

I recently visited the shop for the first time and had an amazing experience. I was given a "tour" of the products and asked how they could help. I explained what I was looking for and they walked me through their process step-by-step, including how to order, how much advanced time they'd need, and to go onto their Facebook page for ideas on decorations. Their prices are VERY reasonable, the staff is friendly and the products are tasty. The only downside (and a very minimal one at that), is that it is off street parking and so when downtown is busy it can be tricky. I had to park across the street.

5-days before Valentine's day, and they were able to make special order giraffe cookies. They tasted amazing and my fiance was immensely surprised!!
