Raytown Parks & Recreation Office

Nice place for kids and walk, but a lot fast driving teenagers so watch your kids.

A great little ball park for us old guys with recreation for all ages.

It was precise.

Had my 2 year old's birthday at Krister Park and it was perfect! Big parking lot right next to shelter, grill wasn't terrible we just used to reheat food in pans, bathrooms were ok,/ useable. The bonus was electricity for speakers and balloon machine. The people at the reservation office are extremely helpful and kind. The only 2 downs were the playground isn't very shaded so by noon the equipment was to hot for the littles and idk who thought replacing the baseball diamond dirt with gravel was a good idea but it definitely was not!

Well, the reservation process was the best part of my experience, as it went unusually quick and professional. My kudos to the reception staff. However, me and my family's experience was not as pleasant. We occupied the smaller shelter house #1. Of course we expected the flies to visit us; but wasp bees was so totally overwhelming that we had to make a special trip to the store for a bee repellent, which didn't help much. There were small kids and babies in attendance. Why wasn't the area treated by Raytown Parks & Rec maintenance people before the reservation date? It was a mess.

I visited the park at 59th and Lane. The flag is ripped /discolored. It's a disgrace to the United States to have a flag so tattered flying it needs to be replaced immediately.

No basketball goals up but tennis courts are open along with children's playground
