I used Moving Made Simple today for moving out of my one bedroom apt. They were scheduled for 1030am they called and said they were running late and would be there 1045am, at 1115 called again and said they were on the way and at 1218 they arrived. They went straight to work. They were finished moving and folding up their moving pads (which they provided) at approx 1418 exactly 2 hours!! I was impressed!! I caught them several times being gentle with my belongings. They were polite and hustled. I will be moving again soon and will be using them again. I would recommend them as I have used other moving companies and it was a disaster!!

I used this company to unpack us at the end of a very long and frustrating move from Florida. The team that helped us was a god send. They went immediately to work. Went fast. Were careful, and friendly. I have never been more happy with a team of movers. Thank you again!

I've used them twice already and will use them again. I highly recommend them, they went above and beyond to get the job done, as well as help put furniture together. I absolutely agree that they are a five star company!

Casey did a great job for me, on time, very fast, professional, short notice no problem. Was concerned about having to small of a truck, no problem excellent job packing the truck, these guys know what they are doing.

The best service that I have ever received. They were gentle with my items and were very fast! I am using them again with my upcoming move and I recommend them to everyone I know!!!

Once my furniture was in my house, I found several damaged areas on my bedroom and dining room furniture. They came once to fill some of it, but even though i called many times to schedule a second visit, they stopped answering my calls and even hung up on me! They haven't repaid me for the replacement furniture i bought and they said they would.

Moving Made Simple is not even worth calling a business. I read several reviews of them and other moving companies, and the common review is that they did not show up on time. This is somewhat understandable based on the jobs that may be booked before you.

However, I had to call Casey and Maria 15 minutes after they were supposed to show up, leave voicemail's, then wait for them to call me back and inform me that the job they were at was taking longer than expected. "It is going to be another 2-3 hours before we can make it to your house, I've been calling other teams but they are all working already." 2-3 hours is a bit ridiculous since I was scheduled at 2 pm to give them "more than enough time to show up." It is also nice to know you were calling "other teams" but could not call your client to notify them of the situation. You then ask if I still need your assistance... As if I planned for this to happen and scheduled another moving company to assist me. I told you to call me as soon as you are done with your current job so I could plan my moving day again.

It is now 8:45 pm and I have yet heard from either of you, or one of your "other teams." Maybe a simple phone call when you were done at your current job to notify me that you were not going to make it to my job today and apologize would be appropriate, but you didn't.

U-Haul should be ashamed they have you listed as a recommended business to hire as movers.

Period!!!! Do not use these people.

The first time I used them they turned up two hours late.

Second time I spoke with Casey and booked a move with him. Called on the Wednesday spoke with Maria to make a slight time change.

On the move date we waited 20 minutes - no show. Called they said they were finishing up another job. Hour later now they say they never booked us and were working on another job. They would call at noon

You guessed it no call.

Found another moving company.

Called and told them we are using someone else and they would be reported to Uhaul to be removed as a recommended mover.

Then that sent a message said they would send 4 people and do our move for free.

So....do not use these people.

The most horrible moving experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this company at all. First, they arrived almost four hours after our scheduled time. After they got there, they didn't have things they were to supply like the wrap to go around the furniture or bubble wrap...both of which I provided (and they took whatever I had left with them). They were only there about an hour when they stated we need to go get something at U-haul or Lowes and left. In the interim, they call and want to add some additional people to their 2-person crew. I agree thinking they would be done quickly...not...they were even slower with more people. I truly felt like they were taking advantage of my situation, meaning no male figure was present. Then they damaged almost new furniture and the owner (Casey) thought a "quick" fix should be adequate. To add insult to injury, come to find they had also damaged my home and didn't say anything about it. I immediately called them and sent pictures and did not hear from them as promised until I wrote a review of them. They are extremely unprofessional. The co-owner (?)/administrative person (Maria) so much as told me that I was lying about the damage that was caused at my home. Please do not use them if you care about your belongings and being treated with great customer service.

Booked a move with Marie the owner this past Friday for a Monday between 4-5 pm move, no one ever showed up! I had to blow her phone up to get her to answer, she kept texting me I will call later. She then blamed the crew leader Huey and sent me his number and when I spoke with him he had no clue he was suppose to move me. They finally text me at 8 pm at that point it was getting dark and storming to say they could still get someone out. By that time I booked Uhaul with two helpers for half the price they were charging and they showed up on time today! This company is unreliable unprofessional and I don’t recommend anyone uses them. I will be reviewing on every possible review site so no one has to experience the stress these people put me through.

I would give them a negative rating if I could. Nothing but excuse after excuse! They have put us in a terrible bind. My Uhaul is now due for return (6 hour rental for a 2 hour move) and they STILL haven’t shown their face. Maria is no longer answering the phone either. If you use these “professionals” you need to have your head examined! Honestly, I’m a very patient person...in this instance, they have cost me $ and most importantly time! If they are still doing moves after 1/21/2018, you are the idiot. They should not call themselves a moving company. Change your name to “Lies and Excuses Made Simple” I stand firmly on the facts

OMG where to start. Horrible experience! More than four hours late first day so I had to reschedule. When they finally show up the next day they needed to leave the job to get gas even though I was the first job. Poor planning? Their movers were nice but I doubt whether any of them weighed more than 130lb dripping wet. They needed three rest breaks and I had to drive to the nearest town to get them water because they didn't bring any. They charged me for their rest breaks and the trip to by gas....incredible. They forgot a furniture dolly so I had to buy one for $168.00. They won't provide evidence of insurance coverage or worker's comp. At the end of the move they tried to insist on cash and tbreatened to charge 4% additional for credit card payment. They wouldn't provide a receipt for my payment by check and they insisted that the check be made out to owner Maria Williamson which I find suspicious. My recommendation is avoid like the plague.

Let me start by saying we had used this company before and they were great the first time. So when we decided to move again we knew we wanted to use them. I just had back surgery last month and my wife is 7 months pregnant, so neither of us can do any lifting right now. We had scheduled Moving Made Simple to be at the place we were moving from in Overland Park, KS at 2pm on Saturday 8/27/16. We picked up the truck we rented from UHAUL at 1pm as planned and were back home by 1:30pm waiting for the movers to arrive. At around 2:15 nobody had showed and we had not heard from them either so we decided to call. They then tell us that they are very backed up because of the storms the night before. (would have been nice to get a call) So then they tell us well we can probably be there by 7 or 8pm that night. So we say ok, we have the truck and need this done. At 8:15pm still no call and nobody showed up so we call again. We get told well it won't be happening tonight but we can be there by 5am tomorrow (Sunday 8/28/16). So we say ok, we really don't have much of a choice at this point and need to have this truck back within 24 hours or we will be charged extra. Once again, 5:15 am rolls around and still nobody showed up. We try to call them again, this time nobody answers either of their numbers. We keep trying to call for several hours into the day, as well as leave messages and even text messages, no response whatsoever. So long story short, they never showed up to load/unload our truck like they were supposed to. Instead, we ended up having to have my wife's family help us move, every one of us have bad backs or other ailments, but what choice did we have? This also made us late returning the truck, so we had to pay for an extra day of truck rental which should have been UNNECESSARY.

Beware !!! STAY Away Worst service ever JOSH K below described it right they are just atrociously bad. Never showed up for my job kept me hanging for 2 hours 30 minutes kept saying we will be there in an hour and then we are just putting address in GPS after 1 hour waiting I called back and they said they are missing my address to resend finally I had to put the foot down after 2 and half hour having BS from Casey cause he started saying another GPS story of 30 min and called of the job..Ridiculous service worst moving experience ever ..U-haul should be ashamed for keeping them in there recommendations..I'll make sure I put across my point to U-Haul..

This company does not run on the time schedule that they proclaim. They treat their movers poorly, working into the night in the freezing cold, while severely underpaying them. The company takes tips against what they owe their employees. They don't pay their employees for travel time or any other hours they are not physically moving furniture. The owner is rude and does not respond in a timely manner or with the appropriate professional attitude.

They were horrible! They showed up 3 hours late. Although the crew worked very hard, they lost and broke pieces to my bedroom set! Then the owner was extremely rude!!! They promised to come and fix/replace my things then told me that I could repair them myself and they would pay me back if I had receipts! Now they won't answer the phone anymore! DO NOT USE THEM! I AM ALSO REPORTING TO THE BBB!!!!
