Super eclectic menu, amazing looking pastries, and a super cool vibe.

Place is super busy but service moves fast.
The one and only disappointment was my food wasn't exactly hot... especially for a skillet meal.. it was tepid at best. Still tastes good but the food temps kept this from being the best brunch I've had in KC

Check out the menu online before you go so you don’t have to take up time looking in line. Everything looks good so it’s hard to choose. You walk in and go order. They give you a number and then you’ll find a seat. They will bring the food to you. All the water and silverware are by the bar.
Bakery items just wait to get until after your done eating. Unless there isn’t many left then grab it. Once it’s gone it is gone for the day. They rotate what times they have all the time so there’s always something new to try.
Great gluten free options as well.
Definitely will be back again and again.
They also have some cooking classes you can take.
Staff is knowledgeable of the menu and so helpful with helping you make a decision and feel welcome.

Vibrant and energetic atmosphere mixed with super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable seats and lots of room to navigate the dining area. A blend of natural light from the large windows and aesthetically pleasing modern lighting.

Absolutely fantastic. From great pastries to healthy food options to some unique items to shop from, this place has it all. With an extensive list of ambitious menu items, I suspect that this place does *several* things well. Often busy and with a small parking lot, you may not get premium parking, but definitely worth the trip—and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. To drink, I had the shroomunity latte, which I loved. The flavor and texture really hit the spot. To eat, I had the crab scramble. I didn’t really get a taste of crab, but it was so good I didn’t even mind. The egg and English muffin underneath were perfectly cooked and the spicy mayo is something I will dream about.
Before leaving, we enjoyed shopping some of their spirit free alcohol options, probiotic sodas, and flowers. We’ll certainly return!

What could be better: there wasn’t much love in the hash browns that came with my entree but overall not bad. Also, my wife and I’s food arrived at significantly different times, which wasn’t ideal.

I had a treat and a beverage here this afternoon prior to a cooking class with work friends! This place is amazing! The team in the class clearly loves what they do as they were led by the owner Robin! I have never zested a lemon before tonight! I think I can do it again!!

Went to Billie's for the second time for brunch with some friends. Always a good time. The interior is clean and inviting, with various seating options.
Good pastry/sweets options as well especially for gluten free options.
Food is always good with healthy portions. They have some interesting lattes. I tried the shroomunity latte and it was decent. Friendly staff members too!

They have a really neat shopping area in the front with some very unique options. They have lots of options for people with allergies or various lifestyle choices. They had some alcohol free “alcohols” the “gin” we bought was really good! I got a gf vegan bar and it was delicious!! So creamy!

The hottest people you never knew existed in this city are all at billies grocery. The raw foods bar is fire. The green protein salad - look it says rosemary in the ingredients but I never thought that would mean large sprigs of raw rosemary in a salad. That was unfortunate, otherwise it was all amazing

Billie’s Grocery is darling inside. Their food, drink and dessert selections are perfect. It looked like everything was gluten free and delicious!

We’d heard about the original Billie’s Grocery in KCMO from friends so were excited when they started a second location. We didn’t really know what to expect and actually couldn’t picture where they could be in Ranchmart. We found it and it has what I think is a big city metro vibe for the suburbs. It’s a fun atmosphere with first-rate food options. It’s not cheap but I would say worth the visit to enjoy the experience. We would certainly return.

Went with a good friend who has multiple food allergies. She was ecstatic with selections.
She had the Kimchi burger with fries.
Loved it.
I had the Turkish eggs and a lavender London fog with oatmilk.
Desserts were lemon curd tart with blueberries. The food was amazing 👏.

Came here on my sister's recommendation (she says it's the only spot in KC that she likes to revisit - and she's obsessed with trying new restaurants, so that says a lot) and had a delicious lunch! I got the carnitas burrito, and she got the tuna bowl as well as the vanilla raspberry cake and a smoothie. All the food was delicious and my sister assures me that all the food she's tried here has been great (she also highly recommends the gluten free chicken and waffles).

They have an extensive baked goods selection, the vast majority of which are gluten free, which is very impressive! The cake we got was gluten free and was moist and yummy - I wouldn't have known it was gluten-free. The menu is very diverse, with sandwiches, bowls, brunch options, and more. There are options for people with a wide range of dietary restrictions, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

There is a good amount of seating, with three different sections, as well as outdoor seating. There are a number of table sizes as well, and can accommodate groups. That said, we came on a Sunday afternoon and it was incredibly crowded, though a table opened up while we were waiting for our food (it's open seating). The space is very bright and airy in decor and has a cute, modern feel.

Being a 13 year gluten free veteran, I started at the beginning when no one even knew what being GF was. All the products on shelves tasted closer to a mixture of sand, cardboard, and a kitchen sponge than food, but NOW a place like THIS exists. With every pastry and baked good that I never thought I would ever get to have again! Incredible tasting gluten free food and desserts that would honestly give non gluten free food a run for its money ANY day. Hats off Billies Grocery. Thank you for bringing delicious and nutritious food to the gluten free community!

Fantastic! That sums up the description of this place. Stopped in for the first time today and enjoyed the meal.

The place has a nice open layout with a good amount of seating. It's bright and airy.

We went with the kimchi burger, hummus duo, spicy tuna bowl, and lemon custard pavlova.

The kimchi burger was cooked well, but could've used a bit more kimchi. Overall a good burger. The hummus duo was amazing with the mix of traditional and beet hummus. The tuna bowl had a great flavor with a little kick; maybe a tad bit too much ginger though. The pavlova was amazing as well. A nice mix of textures and mellow flavor.

Highly recommend stopping in here for a bite!

The cashier was a little snooty.....That is the ONLY negative thing I have to say about them. I highly recommend this place!!! The food is phenomenal. It's a little pricey but well worth it!

A great brunch location with plentiful gluten-free and vegan options! We had the spicy tuna bowl and crab scramble, and they were delicious. The interior is cosy with the bright white backdrop. Oh yeah, did I forgot to mention that you'll definitely need to grab the pastries from the dessert counter!!

Good food and service. The loved their spicy chicken wrap, salmon burger and Beet Burger. Banana pudding was good

Literally 100/10 recommend stopping here for all your vgf treats.
They have a bitchin menu for b/l/d and they have a cute market. Truly tho, we were stopping on our cross country road trip, and I left with 2 boxes of treats for 2 of us. It was really awesome to see clear labeling and know what's going in my body. Absolutely freaking delicious.
We also had breakfast and I had the best burger. The only thing I'd have changed: toast that bun baby. Soft bun w soft patty wasn't my fave, but I didn't not eat it. 😉

Fantastic restaurant! The pesto chicken sandwiches, sweet potato fries, lattes (and art), and the sugar cookie were all on point. We enjoyed chatting with the barista- very friendly lady. Definitely will recommend this place to our friends and we hope to be back some day!!

Billies Grocery has the best breakfast burrito in the city, hands down. Big, tender, delicious pieces of carnitas, breakfast potatoes and lovely eggs topped off with wonderful salsas and garlic aioli. Say less. If you’re a breakfast burrito fiend like myself, you need to try this place. The only reason for the slight ding in stars is the Meshugga bagel was stale, which was disappointing. Overall, amazing food, hearty portions, great service and atmosphere.
