I am so beyond grateful for or Dr. Tarantino. These past few days have been an emotion rollercoaster and my poor baby girl being so sick. Doc jumped into action and helped save my girl and got her on the road to recovery. He is so consideration and explain everything. He went above and beyond to make sure he did everything to help me understand what was going on and to help make her feel better. I am beyond blessed and grateful for him and his entire team. I will forever be grateful for everything he did for Chloe.

Doc is knowledgeable and takes the time to speak with you about what’s going on. I’ve been taking care of my pets for 40 years and have seen many vets so I have a sense for those who genuinely want to help and those who would like to but their business is their primary motivation. Not saying that is wrong, but I am saying it’s nice to see someone really care and want to do what’s best for you pet.

Please understand when you go here that it is a single doctor practice. It's just him, and his very small hard-working & multitasking team.

We took our sweet buddy Neelix here for treatment, but unfortunately his illness (tumor) was undetectable due to its location. When we had to have Neelix put down, this kind doctor was so bothered by the fact that he couldn't figure out the illness that he did an autopsy free of charge. He then spent almost 2 hours on the phone with my husband that night to explain every picture he took (voluntarily) during the procedure. They made us an imprint of Neelix's paw, saved some of his fur for us, and Dr. Tarantino sent us a handwritten condolence card the following week.

I truly appreciate the compassion we were shown during those bleak, snowy days...This all took place during the record deep freeze of February '21 and this clinic was still open, plus Dr. Tarantino made himself available after hours.

Due to the pandemic he has struggled like many small businesses to keep a full time staff. Yet they are still there, doing the best they can with that same compassion and even a smile. Please approach this very caring, dedicated animal clinic with patience during these chaotic times. They love animals here, and it shows. ❤

Took my cat in for urgent (not emergency) care. Vet, tech, and receptionist all very caring and thorough. Reasonable prices. Then had to do it all over again a month later lol (different issue). Would highly recommend.

Dr. Tarantino is very thorough when working with our pets. I live in Belton and travel all the way to Raytown because we trust him immensely in treating our pets.

Murphy tested, mom & dad approved! The staff were amazing with our Wheaten and his quirks.

This place has the best dog groomer in the area. Angie puts her heart and soul into every groom and you can rest assured that your pet will look fantastic when she is done. Thank you Angie for taking really good care of my dog, Love your style.

I agree with the previous review. I give this very compassionate and caring veterinarian five stars. I love the time and consideration he took to explain things to me about my little Chihuahua who's been having seizures. I feel so blessed to have picked him randomly and get the care and immediate attention that he gave me in my little dog boss. He is truly an exception to his profession.

When I brought my feline fur baby to Dr. Tarantino over a year and a half ago, I didn’t have much money to spend to get a definitive diagnosis. He used his medical expertise and prescribed a treatment regimen that I could afford. He also showed me how to calculate his heart rate and respirations at home, and then spoke to me (after business hours) on his own time, just to make sure my boy was doing ok. He is the most passionate and understanding veterinarian I’ve ever met, and I will never consider taking my animals to anyone else from here on out. He gave us many more cherished, quality months with our kitty and for that, we are forever grateful.

I cannot begin to say enough , Doc has always been awesome with all of our animals, always fairly priced, always 100% honest, never tried to upsell me anything, truly cares for my pets, Doc has helped me multiple times in a jam with my dogs meds. I have trusted Blue ridge with my pets care for 7 years now. I even moved up north to Gladstone in 2020 and I still make the trip to Raytown for vet care. That is how much I love them! Doc is thorough and truly cares for your pets. His customer service is excellent, he invests time to get to know your pets and you!

My dog was attack by our neighbors pitbull and it was an emergency, they took care of my 10 year old dog and they had amazing patient care and manners. Took him in on short notice and were just as concerned as us, thank you so much!

They always take time to answer any and all questions regarding my pets when I call, and will never turn away an emergency (like other local vets have done) Dr T is very patient and gentle with my pets and remembers them by name at every visit. Been our choice for our fur babies for 8 years and counting

I came in this place a hysterical emotional wreck with my baby cat that I didn't know what was wrong and I thought it was dying fast. They had to call me down and handle my frustrated responses but they did so with ease...... They got fluids in my kitty and antibiotics for them to administer right then and more for me to give at home....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! You did a fantastic job!!!!

Dr Tarantino and his staff are all very kind. .This is an excellent clinic to take your loved ones. Dr Tarentino is very caring and truly cares about your pets, provides the best of care and I feel 💯 confident in this clinic to treat my cat for her kidney disease . He takes the time to explain everything ,that is in her best interest and is very helpful. . I only wish I would had found him years ago. The prices are very reasonable I highly recommend this clinic This clinic treats your pets as family .

Best place to take your pet. They genuinely care about all your concerns. No problem is too big or small for them. They love your pet as much as you do and take their time. You never feel rushed!

Over Labor Day weekend my 12 yr old poodle mix took a turn. I am so grateful BRPAC was open that Saturday. Dr. Tarantino and his staff were quite wonderful to my sick girl. I was asked lots of questions, and they ran a "poop test". With the meds, a tweak to her diet, along with the probiotics, she is behaving like a puppy! Even the elasticity in her skin rebounded. Sadly, can't say the same for her owner. LOL Thank you so much!
