Yo, yo, I just wanna say that it's been hard finding at least a good barber in the KC metro. Growing up in the NYC, competition is high, and I thought, do I have to go back home for a good cut!?? I did, until I heard about Onyx Studio. So I came, I saw and was impressed. Way to pay attention to detail and keep me looking sharp, Mama.
Thanks you to the lovely Ami. She got it going on. It's a must, you give her a chance to put right... you want be disappointed.

I’ve gotten my hair done and cut by this gal, I’ve also have my lashes done by her and she is by far my favorite and one of the only people I trust to even touch my hair. She’s so sweet I’d highly recommend going every visit is just like hanging out with a friend!! We need more stylist like her in this world but then again there wouldn’t be the one and only Ami!

Ami is an amazing hairstylist! She’s been doing work on me for years, and I’m always happy with my hair walking out. That’s a first. She is consistent and highly professional. Ami is the best hair stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of getting my hair cut and colored be. She's so sweet and thoughtful to all of her clients. Any time I may have a question in regards to the care and up keeping my the overall health and color of my hair, she is always right there with accurate and professional advice. Ami is a true gem of a human. She has been cutting my sons hair for a couple years now and she always does a fantastic job. My son isn’t the most talkative child, but Ami always tries to make conversation and make sure he is comfortable. She is a hard worker, a talented hairstylist and a lovely person.

Ami was very personable and professional during my time with her for a hair cut. I am one of those people who hates getting their hair chopped because a lot of the time it’s never as I want it.
