The Forge Strength Gym

I was in Lee’s Summit for three weeks and was able to work out at the Forge. The owners are amazing and kind people and the facility is top-notch. While this might seem like a powerlifting only gym, I know anyone would feel welcome. You will find the equipment you need for a great workout and you will enjoy the people around you striving to get better. While I was in Lee’s Summit, it was snowing and freezing, but my time at the Forge made me wish I could stay in town longer. This place is awesome.

My son and I were in town from Illinois for the Chiefs Super Bowl parade (Go Chiefs!!) and I was looking for a gym. I found The Forge online and sent an email to get a day pass. Quick response from the owner and got me set up. Now the gym...WOW!!! This gym has it all for anybody!!! The vibe is awesome, equipment is awesome and my only complaint is that there isn't one in my hometown!! I will be back everytime I'm in town!!!

Definitely can appreciate the owners of this gym. We came through Kansas City from Florida and in need of getting in a training sesh while briefly in town. The owner responded quickly and the process to access the gym and get in our workout was super easy and convenient. The gym had everything needed for powerlifting, plenty of equipment, space, clean bathrooms, two deadlift platforms, power racks, dumbbell racks, bands, bars, etc etc. Will be back when we come through! Thank you forge strength for a great space!

The Forge Strength Gym is an amazing place! Whenever I step in, it feels like I'm back in the '90s and lifting at my old school gym in Southern California where I spent my summers with family as a teenager. It's packed with serious strength training equipment, perfect for any lifter. The people and owners make for a positive atmosphere - friendly and down to earth. Everyone's here to get better! In my opinion, there isn't another gym around that can compare to this one; it's definitely the best in Kansas City!

Me and my girlfriend stopped by for 2 days while visiting her family and we loved this place. It had the gritty gym feel that we were looking for and you could tell their gym community were all friends with each other. The owners are great people and were very willing to talk to us through all questions we had and even shared some insight to us. Overall we loved the experience and we will be back.

Genuinely the best powerlifting gym in Kansas city, went here when I was young and was a great introduction to the world of powerlifting and bodybuilding. And it's amazing for the casual gym member as well, no gym like it in Kansas city.

This isnt just a gym; This is a family. I travel for work but when I come home I make sure to swing by The Forge for all my gym sessions. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the atmosphere is blissfully positive. I would recommend this gym from beginners to advanced lifters you will not be disappointed.

Without a doubt the best experience I had with a gym! While I had to move and was only a member for a couple months the staff always went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience, and the other members were all so supportive! If you’re looking for a gym choosing The Forge is a no brainer!

TFSG isn't just a gym, it's a community that encourages you and supports your goals. Everyone is positive and friendly and the owners genuinely care about people. It's a family atmosphere. Love it!

My wife and I bought a day pass today. The price was perfect for a day pass and the online process was very simple. We were immediately emailed a door code upon receipt of payment and had zero issues entering the facility. The gym was clean, bathrooms were clean, and all weights were racked...crazy right? 😂 We wanted a gym that was tailored toward serious lifting and none of the fluff, that's exactly what this is. Everyone we met were really nice, respectful of the fact that like them, you were there to lift without distraction and lift like you meant it. We will definitely be coming back and we are really excited that they are relocating even closer to our house. Even more of a reason to sign up! So if you want a real gym that's more of an old school feel, and none of the pilates, Zumba classes you find in the "Fitness Gyms", you've found your home at Forge Strength Gym 👍🏼👍🏼

Love the gym, love the ownership and members. Everyone here is here to get better at what they do. The equipment is incredible with specialty bars, benches, deadlift/oly platforms, and many machines and free weights so there is something for everyone. Great vibes and good people that want you to reach your goals and are willing to help you get there!

Just joined today, and the place is awesome. Members and staff are both super friendly. Its not a huge space but ot doesn't need to be. Full line up of Hammer Strength and all the free weights you want. They even have a monolith squat rack! This place is legit and happy to have found a gym where people TRAIN.

Great gym. Really helped me harness the power of the unicorn and show my bully Billy who's boss. He won't be taking my lunch money anymore. Everyone is like a great family here. There could be 8 people in there and you couldn't know any of them and they would all be willing to spot you. A great place overall. Plus, Jim and Tammy are awesome people. Great community.

Was in Kansas City for a month and needed a gym. This is a great place to work on building strength. Not only does it have everything you need (machines, free weights, specialty bars, spin bikes, treadmills), everyone that works there is super friendly and will motivate you towards your goals. If you are in Kansas City and need somewhere to train, this is a great place.

This gym is unlike any other gym that I have been to before. The music is loud, the people are great, and the environment is unmatched. I highly recommend checking it out if you like to workout and want a unique gym experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

By far the best gym in KC. We drove 40 minutes to work out here and would do it again! Equipment for strongmen, powerlifters, bodybuilders, and those just needing a good lift. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

An awesome no nonsense old school approach to strength training and working out. By far the best gym around. I've been a member to all the rest and pound fof pound this is by far the best gym around. They have great owners and equipment. I totally recommend this place to anyone

The forge strength is the place to reach your goals. You will have a family like group around to help guide you, from bodybuilding to powerlifting. You will not find a better group.

The gym is organized and well picked up, mostly by its own members. This is the basis of respect and how we like to keep it. Come in turn your own tunes on and let’s get it.
