Frannie Franks Coffee Cakes

I'm so glad we stopped to check this out! I purchased three coffee cakes and couldn't wait to get them home to try. The cinnamon coffee cake is the most amazing cake I've had in a long time. It was so moist and full of flavor! Perfect amount of cinnamon. The coconut one is so good as well. It is very moist and hard to only eat one slice.
This is my new favorite place for coffee cakes. You will not be disappointed and glad you stopped. The owner is so nice and friendly. I took one of her business cards for online ordering. Very reasonable prices too.

It was my first time going in today and was overjoyed by all the amazing flavor options! They are soooo delicious, I literally took a bite out of the carrot cake one and said WOW out loud 🤣 and they even have gluten free options! You NEED to go check this place out if you havent!!

This small shop is a shop We will be supporting for a very long time ! We’ve been twice in 24 hours and will be there today when they open ! That’s 3 days in a row Lol both ladies are so sweet and the coffee cakes are divine !!!!! Her grandmas cinnamon streusel is a must try so is anything with cheesecake ! Honestly EVERYTHING we have tried has been delicious and we can’t wait to try more !!!

Best gluten free coffee cake around! Can't go wrong with the original, but I'm SO impressed by the amount of flavors they offer! Can't wait for my carrot cake coffee cake 🤩 a must get for any brunch/dessert party, or even a treat for yourself!

I've never had a better coffee cake. The cinnamon is my favorite but every flavor I've tried has been delightful.

Oh my goodness these coffee cakes are divine. There are so many flavors that it is hard to choose. My first trip there, meaning it won't be my last, I tried toffee crunch, vanilla chocolate chip cheesecake, lemon blueberry, and toasted coconut. All of them are delicious in their own way! One of the owners was there and was so kind and has the place decorated super cute! I look forward to going back! They are also at the OPKS Farmers market on Saturdays.

Holey coffee cake Frannie! These coffee cakes are so delicious! While at the Overland park farmers market, I was overcome with that sweet smell of baked goods, and I was hooked before I even took a bite! I asked the kind human behind the counter which was her favorite, and she recommended all of them, but said the lemon raspberry was one of her favorites! So of course we obliged and bought one, and a traditional coffee cake.
But let me tell you there is nothing "traditional" about their traditional coffee cakes. They are so soft and velvety. It melts in your mouth, and is jam packed with all those perfect coffee cake flavors, times 100. This is not like the coffee cake I grew up with, it's so much better. (Sorry granny and mom)
Lemon raspberry!!! Ahhhh! Literally the best coffee cake I've ever had! The lemon flavor was tart and bright, and the raspberry filling (the center layer) was creamy sweet and fruity.
It was soft and velvety as well. And had a beautiful crumble top! Lemon and raspberry is the perfect combination, and was an awesome treat for these hot summer days!
We will be back, and will be trying all the amazing flavors!

The cakes are absolutely delicious! They have a ton of different flavors. Not only are the cakes good, but the ladies that own it are so nice and welcoming. They treated my mother and I with kindness and chatted with us while we made our selection. Plus this is a family owned local business. The store is so cute inside! I love the way it’s decorated. If you have a sweet tooth, or you know someone with a sweet tooth, this place is a MUST! I recommend this bakery to everyone. Very pleased!

Wonderfully delicious coffee cakes. I purchased several sampler size for small womens group gathering. Everyone enjoyed them. Beautifully packaged for carryout. Will definitely return for more. ❤

It had been a long day of apartment hunting, excel worksheets and practice questions. The landlord called saying that a 2pm showing was possible and off I went. After seeing the apartment, the office manager was showing the Englewoods arts district and she mentioned that the best coffee cake she had ever tried was next door. I looked at her with a whiskical look and wondered if that was part of the pitch. I was wrong, she was being honest. I thanked her and decided to fo take a look. The recipe apparently was given to the owner by her mother and I figured thatis obviously a likely story. I opted to try the original version they started with, a cinnamon streusel and it was 6 dollars there was a two person piece. I am not a fan of sweets and i figured it would take me couple of days to finish it.I got in the car and took a bite and I forgot to turn the car on, sat there in the cold and ate half the cake. It melted in my mouth, soft, moist and filled with subtle hints of cinnamon and brown sugar in every bite. I have tried store bought versions and freshly baked ones before sparingly but none of them came close enough to make me write this review. This cake is pure poetry of sweetness.If you are coming to Kansas city, Missouri or KC MO as they call it here, take a 5 mile road trip to Independence Missouri and you may be justified in feeling what I felt at that moment- let's move to Independence, Missouri.

I received a couple of the cakes as a Christmas present from one of my families last year. They were some of the best tasting cakes I have ever tried. Will definitely be checking out some more flavors soon as there is a nice variety of flavors

A great variety of delicious coffee cakes and an incredibly friendly staff. Frannie Frank's is great for gifts or just a little treat for yourself! I recommend the Cherry Cheesecake and the Fudgy Chocolate, but honestly, I've never had a bad one.

I have been to Frannie Franks 5 times so far! The ladies are so sweet & kind! The store is adorable & the cakes are out of this world delicious! Who knows, I may stop in again today to pick up a treat for my coworkers!
