Chipman Road Animal Clinic

My dog was having skin issues that started to really concern me. I was able to take him into the walk-in clinic immediately. Dr. Rooney was kind and knowledgeable...as was the whole staff. They saw my dog quickly and the doctor knew right away that the skin issues were allergies. He administered a treatment that resolved my dog's issue. I'm super grateful to this clinic for the speedy help they have us ❤ 🐕 The cost was reasonable as well.

I normally don’t write reviews but felt our/this vet office deserved one! They have informative and kind staff, reasonable pricing, good scheduling staff, and they are a walk in clinic for emergencies. Lots of vet offices do not do emergencies or walk ins anymore for many reasons from staff, to how stressful it can be. I own multiple horses so I am familiar with quite a few vets from good to bad. Yes, you will have to wait when you go in for an emergency but same thing when you as a human go to the ER. I am happy to be patient and wait a couple hours to know I will have peace of mind knowing my pet doesn’t need to wait weeks to get into a schedule only vet office or go to an emergency vet that charges thousands of dollars. Anyway, I have nothing but lovely things to say about them and will continue to go to them and recommend them! Thank you for everything you do, and your outstanding job does not go unseen!

Yesterday, my little buddy became paralyzed, and my wife called the vet that we've been going to for years and told her they were busy and would have to make an appointment. Who says that? Well, I'm writing this post because of Google reviews. This place was chosen because of them. I know why their reviews are so good. They were super caring and got him right in. They did x-rays and saw he had a herniated disk. They drained his bladder and gave him medication . They were very passionate about his condition and had us come back in a few hours later to see if he had gotten any better and drained his bladder again. The Dr. Was very nice and explained what might happen or what to expect. We came in first thing this morning, and he had not improved and was referred to a surgery specialist. I can't thank her enough for saving my little buddy. It's still going to be a long road ahead, but he'll get through it. Thank you so much and everyone else who had left a review. It's still a fantastic place for your pup.

Today, we had to let our little princess Maggie cross that rainbow bridge, and the staff was very comforting and friendly as usual. Thank you for this difficult day and for everything you do. 01/20/2024

If you need your pet taken care of by a Vet who cares.... I cannot say enough good things about Todd and his staff... From the very first interaction till I left, I cannot say how professional, friendly and caring they were. I recommend Chipman Animal Clinic for any and all your loving let's needs . Thank you so much I went in on Tuesday my Milly wasn’t feeling to good. It was after the 5:30 mark they don’t take anymore people after this time. I called to let them know I would be five minutes late. They got everything ready for me and helped her feel better. Thank you so much for being so kind and caring I have been going to you for five years now and you guys always make us feel cared for.

This has to be one of, if not THE best vet office I’ve ever been to/used for my pets. They take walk-ins every day and will work with almost any schedule. They are so patient and VERY good with the animals. I hope the staff knows how much they are appreciated. Thank you all for everything you do for me and my animals! If you’re not established somewhere else already I can’t recommend them enough!! Even the techs here are top tier, you guys are awesome.

It’s a walk-in clinic and while they were busy, they still were able to timely see my pet regarding illness. They do recommend that you call ahead though. Very friendly and caring people. Highly recommend!

I have used this vet for all my pets for 19 years. My golden has had 2 litters and they have taken care of all the puppies, cats and my dogs! They don’t overcharge or take advantage of the pets situation. I will never take my pets anywhere else.

I am disappointed in chipman animal hospital. Had been going there for years and years. During the pandemic the wait to be seen was often 2 hours plus. So I switched to a place that took appointments, as chipman did not. Now I tried to go back and they want to charge me $100 because I haven't been there for a year. I probably spent an excess of 10 grand there through the years. Can't believe they would do that to long time customers.

I have brought our dogs here multiple times for shots, checkups and treatments and have always left satisfied and happy with the experience.

All of the staff and Doctor are aleayd patient and friendly with the animals, even our high-anxiety dog who thinks everyone is out to kill him, and decides manners are no longer feasible.

They are priced appropriately and take good care of my pets every visit. The walk in clinic usually is not too long of a wait.

Their kindness and compassion got us through a difficult day. From the front desk to the veterinarian everyone was thoughtful and patient

My baby is home and in recovery. She still not eating and having a hard time getting medicine down but she does feel better. Well, better than what she was! They found as they rolled her over for surgery, she threw up again. They went into her stomach first to discover an entire bag of hot dog buns and the plastic included!!! Then they were able to successfully remove her spleen and tumor (size of a softball.) She happy to be home and currently been offered everything under the sun to eat but has only eaten couple bites cheeseburger. She has drank a lot though.....She on her road to recovery and I am so happy Lees Summit Chipman Animal Hospital was called for another opinion! Everyone else said because of her age and condition to put her down. Well, Chipman has always been there to support all options of our animals. They have always taken great care and pride in their work treating our animals. They have never done us wrong and are always open when we needed then most. I cant thank them enough for being the top Veterinarian close to us. No other vet has done us justice like Chipman has. They truly are top Grade A+ for a Veterinarian. Thank you for being there and giving me more time with my oldest child. Your the best.

The veterinarian goes out of his way to care for the animals, and the service is reasonably priced. I've been taking my pets here for years.

Great, it was the only Vet open on Saturday my cat had some hair loss on inside of his front leg. The vet gave him a shot and that took care of my nagging wife. They has fast service an very friendly service.

Very good clinic. Big, comfortable waiting room with several different sections for small dogs, cats, ect. Pricy but I'd say it's worth it. They provide great care. I got my dog fixed there & when I showed up to pick him up, they told me he was still too drowsy for them to feel comfortable sending him home. Which was I guess a little inconvenience but I still appreciated them being honest with me about it & caring enough to do that.

We have been taking our pups to Chipman Road Animal Clinic for over 15 years. We first met Dr. Cook early on when our 1st poodle broke her rear leg. She was so caring and our girls leg gave her no problems for the rest of her life. We have had many procedures done over the years. We are now on poodle number 2. We also trust Dr. Holt explicitly. She performs many of the surgeries. Most recently vaccinations, teeth cleaning and tooth extraction. We feel very comfortable seeing any of the veterinarians. Truly a great place to take your pet.

Unfortunately had an emergency situation where we had to put our dog down and our normal vet was out of the correct medication.

This clinic worked us in on short notice (me calling at 8:40 am on a Saturday). It was a tough day for us but the staff here made it as easy as it could have been. The vet we got was very profesional and calm and assuring.

Not a great day for us but good service by them.

Have returned to Chipman road animal clinic with our new pup. We have been customers of theirs since moving to LS in 91. Always get friendly good service. The waiting area is very nice, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend
