Strothertowne Vet Hospital

I always love going to Strothertown Dr Jones is awesome. The staff is always great and I feel like I’m always in good hands and I don’t have to worry about anything. They are top-notch. I love that they support Chain of Hope! And my doggies are never scared when we go to Strothertown.

Hands down the greatest veterinarian office I’ve ever been to. The doctors and the staff can’t be beat - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and never make me feel rushed. Highly recommend this office.

The staff is always so friendly whenever I come by. The doctor is also very friendly. They sent me a handwritten thank you letter in the mail with all of their signatures on it - that’s the kind of place this is. I asked someone on the phone a few questions about my dog that were unrelated to her vet visits, and she even took the time to answer those questions. She was so friendly, I got carried away talking to her. Anyway I will be bringing my dog here for all of my future visits

We have been using Strothertowne for several years and have really come to appreciate the care and service they provide for our 2 Morkies.

I found Strothertowne when my first husky started having seizures. I had been referred from Blue Pearl after an emergency vet visit.
Dr. Jones is absolutely amazing. He has helped keep my dogs seizures controlled for almost 9 years! I have since had a plethora of animals go through this clinic.
The staff is so amazing and always make me and my animals feel like we are apart of their family.
2 times stand out to me more than others.
1. My son has a tortoise. He was his best friend since he was little. When Franklin unexpectedly passed away, the staff went out of their way to ensure the crematorium would treat my son’s bff like they would a more common animal. They even made a shell casting for him!
2. My oldest dog is now 10. He still has a seizure disorder, but he also has developed arthritis, diabetes, and cataracts. Dr. Jones and his staff has held my hand through this whole thing.
If you love your animals like I do, you can’t find a better caring veterinarian staff!

To sum up my long paragraph coming up for those of you that don’t like to read… This is a very kind, clean and professional vet office. Where they care about your fur babies like they’re one of their own. I also found it to be affordable and I don’t have to wait long to be seen. We are seen at our appointment time (early even). Dr. Sarah is the best! We will be seeing her from now on for anything we need! You won’t regret bringing your fur babies here. Now for my story…

I was having a lot of trouble finding a vet that would do surgery to help my French Bulldog that was having trouble breathing due to having Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS). So, what did I do? I complained about it on Facebook. I have a friend from school that works here and spoke with her vet about my Frenchie, Meatball and reached out to me. She got me in touch with Dr. Sarah. I brought Meatball in to have an exam done and have bloodwork done to see about this surgery being an option. She explained what would be done, the cost and answered any questions I threw at her. She was so kind and you can tell she genuinely cares about the fur babies. She doesn’t see a paycheck, she sees family. We got him scheduled for surgery and he just went in this morning! I didn’t quite catch her name, because I was so nervous… But, a very kind woman from the front desk came out to my car (in the cold) 15 minutes before opening to tell me it’s okay to come on in and she got Meatball checked in for surgery. They took me back immediately to get everything started by explaining the process, cost and whatever questions I had. After that, I said goodbye to Meatball and told him I loved him. She took him back to get ready for surgery and I went home with his Frenchie brother, Spaghetti. Dr. Sarah called me as soon as the surgery was over to tell me how Meatball was doing, what was done during the surgery and what the game plan is now. His surgery went very well and she will be watching over him for the next few hours while he recovers to make sure he’s doing okay.

I can’t thank Baylee enough for not only getting me in touch with Dr. Sarah about this surgery. But, she also was in the surgery with my little guy to help give him a better quality of life. From the front desk, to the vet techs to the vets… Thank you all so much for giving Meatball the ability to have a better quality of life for Christmas.

Strothertowne Pet Hospital is AWESOME! The veterinarians are knowledgeable and very caring. Their staff and technicians are caring and take great care of your pet. I know that when this very spoiled pug goes to see the Dr.; she is well cared for!

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about Dr. Warren Jones and his staff at Strothertowne Pet Hospital! We feel more like family when we go than clients. Dr. Jones is always willing to listen to my concerns and questions about my girls. He is straight to the point and doesn’t sugar coat what they need. Which is great! He has great suggestions and willing to explain anything. I don’t ever feel like I am being rushed out the door or pushed unnecessary treatment. Trinity and all the vet techs are very welcoming too. Our girls are always eager to go inside and get loved on. We won’t be going anywhere else!

We have been clients at Strothertowne for about 12 years now. As a former vet tech, I am picky about my animal's care. Our dogs have always received excellent and compassionate care with Dr Jones, Dr Sarah and their staff. Whether the dogs are in for an annual check up and vaccinations or an illness or injury, we know they are in good hands. It is obvious that they love their patients and their profession and that is appreciated.
We can't wait to see the new expansion!

I cannot give enough stars or say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Jones at Strothertowne. My dog recently tore both ACL‘s and I received a phone call after hours on Friday evening from Dr. Jones discussing the plan of care for my dog, detailed explanation of surgery options and his recommendation. Was scheduled for surgery with him the following Tuesday. Once he was able to examine him prior to surgery, he realized my dog’s condition was much more significant and would benefit from another procedure which would need to be performed at another facility. Instead of proceeding with the scheduled procedure, he called me to inform me and made a phone call directly to the doctor he wanted to refer me to. He was able to get me in same day for evaluation and just a few days later for surgery. I am forever grateful for his compassion, thoroughness, and communication skills keeping me informed and updated throughout the entire process. I feel like he has treated my dog as one of his own and is truly doing what is in his best interest. Will never go anywhere else! Thank you thank you thank you a million times!

Can’t recommend this facility and it’s Dr and nurses enough. My pet had a recent non life threatening emergency and they swooped and helped her. They were kind, caring, compassionate, generous and just overall wonderful!!! It feels so nice to know you’re in safe hands with our pets and our vulnerability when you might not be thinking straight!

This was my first visit to this vet My cat was very sick and had been throwing up a lot. My old vet had retired and I wasn't sure where to go so I brought him to Strothertowne. They took such good care of him and made sure he was completely healed before they sent him home. He came home today and he is his old self and feeling great running around like a maniac as usual. I can't say enough good things about Dr Stidley and the entire staff at Strothertowne. They are all so kind and caring and kept me informed and updated on his condition the whole time. IWe will be regular clientz there from now on.

I love how they truely care for you and your pets. We love our pup like he is our human child and they treat him the way we want. Which tells you that they will respect your pet with real love.

I have total confidence in Dr. Jones for Anything that may arise with our pet(s) and have appreciated everyone who I have had contact with over the years as they have been kind,helpful,and very considerate.

Dr Jones and vet tech Gabby are the best ever. Saved our then 13 yr old service dog General with emergency surgery for cancer. Now 1 yr later another surgery scheduled for growth not connected to previous surgery. Highly recommend Dr Jones for all vet needs. Forever grateful

Our dogs have been patients at Strothertowne Pet Hospital for over 10 years. Dr Jones and his staff are so wonderful! We never feel rushed at our appointments and our dogs always receive great care!

Very friendly staff and the vets are great. I usually see Dr Jones and he is the best. Always tries to find the best solution for you and your pet. The few times I have seen Dr Sarah she was good also. She talks to you about any issues and gives good solid advice. You can't go wrong going to Strothertowne. They really care about your animal and you.

Positive, friendly, and caring. That's how I describe the doctors and staff at Strothertown Pet Hospital. We totally trust the care they have given our family puppy.

Love Dr Jones and his staff! Always friendly, never feel rushed. I also tend more towards natural alternatives for myself and pets, I have never felt judged, in fact Dr Jones has always been open to letting me know what is wrong and seeing what I can do on my own first. Well worth the 30-40 minute drive for me, right past about 4 other vet clinics…..

I cannot state how wonderful Dr. Warren Jones and his entire team are. They are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly. Dr. Jones is the best and I trust him completely. I will only take my pets to Strothertowne.
