Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity Independence ReStore

This is one of my favorite ReStores to go to. It's not at large as some others, but it still manages to have a large selection of quality items. The employees have always been kind and helpful to me and I can usually find just what I'm looking for (and even some things I didn't plan on getting!!). They price things fairly and accurately (I've been to other ReStores that feel overpriced) and always have a deal going on. Highly recommend.

A wonderful place to find affordable items for home renovations. Also have lots of neat home decorations.

Great place! We remodeled our whole house using items from this and the other stores.

Even though this is one of the smaller restores I have been to it had everything that I personally was looking for. Included brand new gallons of paint in the colors I needed, Dome light for my bathroom, Non smoking signs for my new business, And random other little accessories I was looking for. All around it's a bit of a drive depending on where you live in Kansas City but it's well worth it!

Phenomenal! I got this solid wood desk for $10! They have amazing prices and wonderful people work there. It's a gem ❤

Truly love this store! Not just because I am part of the new management, but also because I know that I am working for a good mission. Our mission is to help end poverty and help our community. I enjoy seeing all of our customer's, because they too make it all worth while! Hope everyone has enjoyed the changes we have worked hard to make, becausei it has been alot of fun. I have rental properties and frequently shop at Habitat. Today, I bought four oven heating elements and 4 refrigerator water filters. The elements were 1$ each and the water filters were 2$ each. What a buy. I also bought a large box of nails for our automatic nailer for only 10$. Paint roller covers and tray liners very reasonably priced. I love this place.

Oh my goodness!! Found a bunch of really cool Halloween decorations and since they were out of season got a fabulous price!! And the folks working were just awesome!! I'll definitely be back!!

Omg. So much to be said about this place. I bought a really nice chair for the living room for $25. Book shelf for $15. Table and 4 chairs for $50. Very reasonable! They also have a free table! They help you out with your purchases and even let you come within 3 days I think it is if you don't have a truck right away.

I purchased a refrigerator that unfortunately went out not long after purchasing. They did their best to help replace the fridge , (which did work at first , so it wasn't sold with a shortage known ) but ultimately refunded because the replacement didnt work out. Amazing customer service!!

Truman heritage habitat for humanity is a great place for finding gently use furniture they also sell recycle ♻ plumbing fixtures kitchen sink fixtures bathroom fixtures such as toilets and bathroom sinks and etc if you're needing any type of items to pick up your home with and you need it done budget friendly they can hook you up like I said they carry furniture couch chairs dining room sets and they're all at a great fair price plus if you got any household items that can be recycled they'll take them in.

This place is AMAZING!!!!! They really care about the community and they went above and beyond for my family and I am forever thankful for all they do and the awesome staff who work there I was able to furnish our home thanks to them and it is nice not having to sit on the floor some of the guys helped me back up the u haul and get it loaded so Again thank you for all that you do you all rock and the community is a bit better because of kind caring people like you

One of the best Re-Stores in the city when it comes to home improvement supplies. Great selection of electrical, windows, fixtures, and molding. Definitely visit this place first if you're a homeowner thinking of remodeling a room or two in your home.

I am constantly in this store. Everyone has been helpful in moving items or carrying out my items. I love how its always something different in there. Its like a treasure find for me each and every time ( I like to refinish things and am a Pinterest fool) the prices are typically fair or really cheap. Every item i have ever purchased has held up in condition and wear and tear. I love this place and am grateful for the volunteers that help run it. I only wish they had a frequent shopper program

Great hidden treasures can be found from time to time. It's always a fun store to nose around. Since it's based on what people donate, sometimes you won't find what you're looking for but other times you hit jackpot. The prices were better the first couple years it was open, I've noticed they seem to have gone up.

Always have a variety of items to choose from. No matter what I seem to always find something that just can't live without! Nice friendly staff. Prices are usually fairly reasonable.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a good selection of used furniture and other household fixtures. Obviously not all of them are in pristine condition, but the prices are all reasonable!

Awesome store with great prices. This was my third time shopping there. They had many new items including furniture

I can't say enough good thing's about this place.The staff is always nice, prices are affordable.The place is clean and organized always.And when they get new stuff in they always take pictures of it all and post the pictures on their website.Also they are the only thrift store that will hold your items that you buy for 3 days.I have went to other thrift stores and they want you to take it when you buy it.And also Habitat puts a sold sticker on the item that you want to buy any other thrift store won't do it for you.I highly recommend Habitat For Humanity.
