I love this place. They make a superb Philly, they use real American cheese, and they make the best French fries.

First time going, the very friendly cashier was very helpful and gave recommendations! I ordered a original cheese steak & fries! So damn good people! I will be returning cause there are so many sandwiches, hot and fresh everything! The price is what you would expect. Small dinning but that's ok, you get a pretty sweet view of K.C downtown in the distance. Family owned company, support this and business like this. Met the owner, he was very friendly!!

The food is always cooked to order, hot, fresh, and full of meats and veggies. I haven't had a bad sandwich yet in 7 years

Today was my first time visiting Philly Time. I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with not only the incredible food but also the amazing service and family feel you get when visiting. John was a delight. Was so kind he even walked our food out to us when it was ready while we were sitting outside at the gazebo enjoying the beautiful city view. Best chip selection I have ever seen as well as a huge soda selection also. I highly recommend and will be back soon!

Now if you want a Philly cheese steak or any type of Philly sandwich this is where to go.

I am from South Jersey and this is the closest I have come to being home.

I followed John from North Oak over to Briarcliff and the food has stayed consistent, delicious. This is the closest I can get to an authentic cheesesteak out side of Philly. For sure one of the best in KC!

The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

They have had to cut back hours due to staffing issues unfortunately so just call before you go but worth the trip!

The best Philly's hands down! I have tried other places and not one stands up to Philly Time. The food is always fresh and hot and cooked to order. The prices are right and the portions are a nice size.

Still great food and good value after all these years, I first tried them in the late 90s, I believe. Fresh and tasty with a large variety of options, including wraps.

I had the Spicy Philly and that was a great sandwich. It was my first time ordering there and now they are my new spot. That food didn't stand a chance to get a photo, it just went straight to my belly. Highly recommend trying them and then go back and get happy full all the time.

Philly time is our favorite place to grab lunch! I prefer the Philly sandwiches and my husband prefers the Jamaican jersey wrap! The cookies here are the best! I always eat it while waiting on the food and the customer service is amazing! They make everyone feel important and just like family!

I'm pretty sure my company (clopay) ordered food from them a few days ago. Best philly cheesteak sandwich by far I've ever tasted. Brought the extras home and told my wife I made them haha. They were so delicious she didn't believe me

Kind of tiny place if you want to eat in, but grab n go is great. Love all the different sauces available. Great sandwich and fries

Have been a restaurant operator, and a frequent visitor to Philly I am proud to leave this review.
1. The bread and meat quality are top notch. The ONLY place in KC I'll get a steak.
2. The mark of true customer service is how they handle mistakes. I had a minor one today and John went so far above and beyond to make it right, I was floored.

Just came here the other day and got a Philly from them for the first time and wasn't disappointed. A little late on my review cause I lost the paper the owner gave me. The phillys I got were exactly how I ordered them. Only thing I'd add is a little seasoning to the meat but even without that it was great. The owner also provided me with some onion rings and I think a spicy ranch sauce which was really delicious. I wish I would have tasted it before I left so I could get more of it and the onion rings. All in all 10/10. Loved the welcoming atmosphere and enjoyed the food. Will be back. Probably tomorrow and the next day lol. Keep it up💪🏾
