Could not be happier with our experience with Jimmie Rucker and The Rucker Group. Our personal friend and realtor moved to NC so when it was time to buy a new home he reccomended Jimmie....a few days later another friend did the same. Glad they did. First...the business end. We found a ready built home and were able to negotiate the price and build in a contingency for our home. That didn't matter though because Jimmie was able to sell our house for full asking price in 3 days.
Now, the other end. There was a hiccup with the buyers of our home causing a 24 hour delay in closing...that streched to a FRIDAY. Jimmie worked the phones with their agent, lender, title company and our title company to get our house closed before the weekend...while we sat with a full moving truck waiting. Then he apologized even though his team and his lender had their end wrapped up well before the closing time. Excellent service. As for the other parties lender...well that's for another post.

The Rucker Group is an exceptional team to work with and we highly recommend them if you are buying, selling, or building. We recently worked with Jim on a build job, and the purchase/ sale of our previous home. He was a phenomenal advocate and partner throughout the process, and made such a large purchase much more comfortable. Over the last 10 years my extended family has worked with Jim on about 9 transactions, each one successful and smooth. If you are looking for an outstanding buy/sell/build experience, The Rucker Group is the way to go!

Jimmie Rucker with The Rucker Group is one in million! He's been nothing but thoughtful, thorough, validating in his listening to our needs and wants in a home while maintaining location, and willing to educate us on the many moving parts that are part of the home-buying process. My husband and I have never bought a home before, so we sometimes don't know what we don't know, but Jimmie brings it all up and puts it all out on the table. He has contacts for financing, contractors to assist in any upgrades or renovations a home-buyer may want to complete after purchase, and knows builders personally should a buyer want to build from the ground up. Jimmie once had his dad, Jim, meet us to walk a floor plan because Jimmie was out of town when our interest was randomly piqued. Talk about customer service! Jimmie and The Rucker Group were recommended by by three different sets of close friends and relatives. We can see why they've retained Jimmie's services for so many years and we look forward to celebrating our first purchase with Jimmie and The Rucker Group!

Jim Rucker is an absolute professional! He has been our agent now in three real estate transactions, and he has treated each of them as though they were his own. My wife and I were moving from Los Angeles to Kansas City and Jimmie made this transition seamlessly. Jimmie kept us in the loop with what was on the market prior to arriving to KC and we didn't have to stress about what was out there. Jimmie is helpful and transparent throughout the process and has followed up after closing to ensure we are happy. I wouldn't use anyone else while making such a huge investment for our future.

UPDATE: It has been 9 months and Jimmie continues to consult with us and makes sure things are going well with our home. He invited us to his office for Thanksgiving and gave us a pie for the holidays. The customer service is outstanding. Again, I cannot recommend him enough!!

I cannot recommend Jimmie Rucker and everyone at Remax 1st Choice enough! As first time home buyers, Jimmie walked my husband and I through every step of the process - addressing all of our questions. He is very knowledgable about various things to look for when looking at homes. When we would check out the aesthetics of a home, Jimmie would be looking for things that we were not even thinking of - he has knowledge of roof condition, landscape, electrical, maintenance issues, etc. Jimmie also worked with our crazy schedules and always found time to show us whatever we wanted to look at. So grateful to have found Jimmie at Remax 1st Choice.

If you want someone that is gong to help you find the house of your dreams call them. If you want someone that is going to be honest, and work just as hard selling your house give them a call.
