Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids

My daughter cut her own hair pretty dramatically and we needed some help to get it evened out. I was able to get a same day appointment and they made it look much better. We appreciated your help and the kid friendly atmosphere 👍

I love this place my daughter's hairdresser was super amazing. Staff was very friendly on time with appointments. Was very easy to book online. The atmosphere was soo fun. I would definitely bring my daughter here again. Please recognized Kenna my daughter's hairdresser today for she was soo awesome with her work and making my daughter feel like today was such a special moment. Thank you again will be doing more business again in the future.

Great experience the first two times. They do everything the can to make it as fun for kids as possible. Stickers, temporary tattoos, fun jewelry, candy and toys. The staff is great with kids too. Can be a little expensive especially with the additions but makes it much more enjoyable when your kid is having fun. Well worth it.

The only place I recommend for a child's haircut. My son has a hard time holding still when I cut his hair and gets easily stressed. This place gets them done within 10 minutes and they look great!

We chose Shear Madness in Liberty, MO to celebrate my 6 year old daughter's birthday with their Diva Party Package. This was the CUTEST party I've ever had for either of my girls!
Everything from booking the party to leaving the party was so easy - once you book, your party is completely taken care of!
Everyone from Shear Madness that helped with our party was professional, polite and followed COVID 19 protocols really well.
We had 7 litte girls in our party and each of them were treated like little princesses - they each got their hair done, nails painted, eye makeup done and glitter tattoos of their choice applied.
We started to run out of our set party time slot and I approached one of the stylists to see if I could help and she said that time was no issue - they wanted to make sure these kids had a wonderful time. I was so impressed with that!
The party ended with a runway show and it was fabulous! The girls had such a great time and you could tell that the stylists really enjoy what they do.
I would recommend a Diva Party to anyone looking for something fun and different for a birthday party!

We've been coming here to see Kenna for years now, and she's done an excellent job each time! The kids love her and she makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Kenna delivers a great service each time. The establishment is always clean and orderly. I would highly recommend her!

I took my son there for the first time ever and both ladies there were AMAZING! They helped distract not only him, but also my five year old daughter that was not getting a haircut, thus allowing me to bounce back and forth between children. My son had such a fun time, he threw a (shortlived) fit because he didn't want to leave. I will be returning there again and again and again. This salon is the absolute BEST place to take your kids.

Holly did amazing with my 7 year old :) always the best customer service when we come here!!! Kayt at the front was amazing the minute we walked in to the minute we left!! Making our experience even better!! She is so good with kids!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!! Love the atmosphere here!!! My kid always looks forward to coming here!!!!!

We absolutely love Miss Kenna! We won't make appointments with anyone else. She is so good with our kids and knows exactly what we want each time. She's very personable and the kids just adore her. 5 stars for Miss Kenna!!!

I’m so happy I picked this place for my sons first haircut. Alicia did so good with him especially with him being a toddler and not sitting still. She did a wonderful job and cutting & styling his hair. Will definitely be back!!

Kenna is the reason we come back here time and time again. She’s so kind and genuine and is so great at what she does. This place is lucky to have her and she absolutely loves kids and is so good with our son.

Love this place! Kenna is the best! She did my son's first haircut and was so amazing and continues to do great every time! He does great now but his first several haircuts were challenging to say the least. She really works well with the little ones that struggle and makes it the best experience possible! I think she's found her calling!

Love this place! Great service and makes for a fun experience for kids to get their haircuts. My autistic daughter and I especially love Miss Kenna. Kenna was so great with my daughter took her time and did an amazing job making sure my daughter got just the style and haircut that she wanted. Kenna didn't rush and took her time making sure my daughter was happy and comfortable and my daughter's hair looked great! Thanks Kenna we will definitely be seeing you again!

Cute place. Good service. They're great with the young kiddos. Toy store in the front but the prices are a bit high. Lowering the prices just a little bit and I would have probably bought something. A $5 bath toy with sharks and a net was $17! I would have bought it for $11.99... still a good markup but not super high. Just an idea. I still give them 5 stars for service! The hair cute was great and they were very friendly and sweet with my 19 month old child. I will go back for sure!

We love Miss Kenna and Miss Holly!! They both do a phenomenal job! I took my son to Shear Madness - Northland for his very first haircut about 2-3 years ago. Since then, this is the only place we go for his haircut. He actually looks forward to coming here. Miss Kenna and Miss Holly are both very patient, quick at what they do & great at keeping kiddos entertained. Thanks so much again ladies!!

Took my 18 month old here for his first hair cut with Alicia. She was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone with a younger kiddo/toddler needing a cut!
She was calming and comforting when my child was initially emotional and nervous, and by the end of the cut he was giggling and totally comfortable with Alicia!
It was an ideal experience for a first hair cut at this age. Definitely go see Alicia!

My 4 year old got her ears pierced today and the ladies here were absolutely fantastic! They made her feel like a princess all the way around. Everyone was very nice and friendly, the place was very comfortable for my daughter. She had the best time and and fun experience. I will be recommending this place to many people! Only place I'll bring my kids to. We always see Kenna. Our boy is on the spectrum, she's gentle with him, very interactive, and he always loves to go back for haircuts. A must go to for all kids, great experience.
