My daughter has now taken 3 classes with Generation Maker Lab. These have been great experiences and we plan to do even more! My daughter had created 3D designs, a canvas painting, and a video game. This is a great addition to her education.
Ms. Pan is amazing and is warm and welcoming to everyone that comes in. Not only does she have a great teaching style, she also does a great job of fostering confidence and self- esteem.

My kid took 3d printing last year. She enjoyed the process and brought home a couple of 3D printed figures. She really had a good time in that camp so I enrolled her in Intro to Mechanical Movement. Again, she had a blast in the class and brought home these cool paper "mechanical" boxes. Miss Pan explains the concepts in a way that's easy for the kids to understand. Then the kids see the concept in action with their finished products. The kids in the class are super friendly too. Highly recommend sending your kids here.

Generation Maker Lab is one of the most unique academic and educational programs that our family has ever participated in. Mrs. Pan has created the ultimate learning environment that encourages our 5-year old daughter to explore her talents and skills, even at such a young age. The learning curriculum promotes curiosity and collaboration through a wide variety of academic related projects, which could last a day up to several weeks. While our daughter is only 5-years old, she has been learning aspects of engineering, biology, chemistry, math, music, art, literature and foreign languages, among others. We highly recommend Generation Maker Lab and have been extremely pleased with the progress she has made over a period of roughly six months at the school!

Would highly recommend - our 3 children attended WBA, starting with pre school and one child started at age 2 , we were looking for preschool initially and found out about the school from our neighbor.
The reason we enjoyed this school is that our children loved it and it really helped our children grow to love learning, Mrs. Pan and her team believe that children are intelligent and if given the proper tools, are capable of more than we think. From woodworking, to culinary lab, chickens to community gardens, coding, robotics, museum trips, music, chess, also learning Mandarin previously -- this school has a great focus on developing individuals. As a child I attended Montessori, but this is different, Mrs. Pan has a S.T.E.A.M. education focus, with her background and training, she is able to blend learning science and art. She has a curriculum she goes over with you and how your child is doing, the reason we kept our children in this school is because of the teacher to student ratio and unique educational opportunities, you cannot find this anywhere else in the area- she is able to individualize their education plan to grow as they do, she is not stuck in a limited grade level curriculum. We recently moved and our children tested above their grade levels, I think this is a testament to the hard work put into each child's learning. More importantly, our children are eager to make, create, take part in and accept new challenges, my children now love math, reading, which I struggled to teach them, we are forever grateful for this school.

Our youngest is finishing her second year of preschool at World Builder Academy and has had an exceptional experience. She goes to school happy and returns with excited stories of new things learned, games played and fun experiences. She has been both cloistered with her preschool group and able to group up with school aged kids for project work. I love that she has the opportunity to be with kids of all ages. This week she’s been telling me all about DNA - I’m amazed. The campus has a big yard and there are chickens to boot. It’s a place I couldn’t have dreamed up better. Lastly, our experience has been entirely during COVID and school leadership has worked so diligently and carefully to communicate well, implement appropriate procedures, and keep school open. Very grateful for our experience.

We had a Cub Scout activity there and made a series of projects using the 3D printers. Fantastic experience! Very well organized. She did and amazing job and went out of her way to get the projects to us once we were done. Highly recommended!

AUGUST 2022 UPDATE:
Response below from World Builders academy was SHAMELESS.

Throwing the USPS & Covid ‘under-the-bus’ for World Builders Academy LACK of communication, STONEWALLING behavior and treating their families as if they don’t exist has nothing to do with the USPS or Covid.

And the USPS & Covid doesn’t deserve it!

The responsibility lies with World Builders Academy, who chose willfully not to communicate after repeated attempts and then blamed others for their choices.

We all make mistakes and sometimes choose to behave poorly….it’s common amongst every human, however, most humans learn to distinguish and then make amends when they behave poorly.

WBA academy clearly believes that mistakes are not common and teaching children to make amends is not something that should be taught or, better yet, demonstrated.

We did nothing, other than ask to leave the school and request that all accounts and credited money be returned, what we got was STONEWALLED and treated poorly…

Oh wait, we also got a “syrupy-sweet” fake response to the first review.

WBA likes to take your money BUT not return it!

Our family recently decided NOT to return to World Builders Academy for the 2022-23 school year for a number of reasons, one of them being poor communication skills.

Friday, July 15th, approximately 10days ago we sent a message thru Brightwheel, the APP used by World Builders Academy as their preferred communication form; we let them know our decision and asked them to close ALL accounts related to our student and to return our money.

As of July 27th, 2022, after numerous attempts to reach out thru other sources, including contacting Brightwheels Admin directly, counselors, news stations, the police department, World Builders Academy has still not communicated with us about account closures or when our money will be returned.

Why is it World Builders Academy has no problem raising rates and taking money, but a hard time returning it?

Any explanations from the private school would be helpful.
