Parking sucks. I arrived 20 minutes before the 1330 court time. I should have called an Uber for the defendant. I got my exercise in at least, parking 3 blocks away.
Staff at the entrance were helpful, and the process to get in the building was easy.

Google saying the building at this address is permanently closed is incorrect. What they did is add an extension to the Old courthouse building for new courtrooms. So instead of going in the old courtroom entrance you'll see a walkway of you and it's the building connected to it.

Andrew D. Lester remains free for another year due to — trial date being set for October Next year!

Andrew D. Lester, the 84-year-old Kansas City man (left) facing charges for shooting Ralph Yarl (right) pleaded not guilty on April 19 at the Clay County Courthouse in Kansas City, Mo. A Clay County judge ruled Thursday that there’s enough evidence for Andrew “Dan” Lester to stand trial.

Andrew was recently back in court days ago! He got news that his trial would not be started until October 4 of 2024! That means Andrew Lester has a year to prepare for what’s to come before trials starts. The community is not happy about Mr.Lester being free for another year.
