They went above and beyond remodeling our old farm house kitchen and laundry. Coming home is so enjoyable I love the new look it’s like coming home to a new home. I highly recommend this company what a huge transformation.

Highly recommend. They recently worked on the first phase of our bathroom remodel. And I couldn’t be happier. The bid process was informative and the pricing was very competitive. The big name companies wanted to charge three to five times for the same service. They were patient of my timeline of when I did, and more importantly didn’t want the project to occur. The crew was very friendly and communicated through the whole process. They were always on time and respectful to my home. Every construction project will have their hiccups. And ones we had were stress free to deal with. They were proactive to provide reasonable solutions and mindful of any costs that may be incurred. They will definitely be utilized to finish the other phases of our remodel and happy to work with a local company in Liberty.

So after deciding we wanted to remodel our kitchen we reached out to Gercken Construction. After making a time to discuss the options and finishes we were on track to start the process. When time came to start the transformation of our kitchen they were very prompt and professional, they kept us updated with times and days that projects were to be completed! After what seemed to take less time than we thought we had an amazing kitchen! We would like to thank Richard, Emily, and all the folks at Gercken Construction for all the work and help to make our kitchen our own!

We decided to complete a home remodel for our 30th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We now have a beautiful new kitchen and master bathroom. Going through the selection process of multiple different companies, Gercken Construction had very reasonable pricing. They were able to explain the process very well and the various steps that would take place, start to finish. I felt they had good communication throughout the project, this was very important to keep the various steps continuing with as few interruptions as possible. Any concerns that I had throughout the project were discussed and addressed appropriately. This smaller company is a GEM that I am glad I found as I was getting estimates. I recommend Gercken Construction, and when I am able I will likely use them again for a smaller remodel my wife and I want to get done. The project that was done was a room and closet addition that was approximately 16' by 36' overall size. The employees were respectful and the overall experience was very positive!

GCS did our bathroom remodel, and here’s what I can say. Their employee, Shawn, was in charge of the deconstruction and reconstruction of our bathroom. During the time of his stay, Shawn was an extremely pleasant, kind, courteous, trustworthy human to interact with. Whenever an unexpected situation came up (since our house is very old), Shawn was able to reassure us with the situation and make us feel at ease with the particular solution he had for the problem at hand.

He works diligently and has skills to enable him to do plumbing, electrical and the floors and walls (which were completely replaced in our project). Overall, we LOVED the work that he did to help turn the bathroom into a pleasing, comfortable space. If we ever get around to remodeling other parts of the house, we hope Shawn will do the work then as well!

Gercken Construction did a great job completely renovating our deck, assembling a pergola and installing a masonry fire pit. The workers were all great and completed the job in a timely manner, despite dealing with several days of rain. I would use them again and highly recommend!

I was looking for a home for my future business and found a historic building that appeared to be perfect, but it needed a “little” work. I knew I needed the professional opinion of a contractor who had the experience and expertise necessary to determine whether this 100+ year-old building was truly a good investment or a potential money pit. I contacted Gercken Construction Services. Richard Gercken, owner of GCS, accompanied me to the building and brought along John, his master electrician. They examined the structure to identify major areas of concern, including the integrity of the foundation, electrical wiring, and plumbing. Richard not only gave me his honest impressions regarding the condition of the building and what would be required to give it new life, but also made suggestions regarding how it could be renovated and remodeled to best fit the needs of my future business while staying within my budget. When you need a remodeling contractor, integrity, experience, and customer service set Gercken Construction Services apart from the rest.

I had a project that was semi started with materials purchased and a small amount of work done. After having a few companies come out and try and sell me on what they wanted to do, Richard came out and listened to what I wanted to do. We discussed any areas that may be problematic up front and GCS used my materials to finish the master bath remodel and it looks AMAZING. Wish I could add photos.

Carl was professional, on time and really good at what he does.

Highly recommend GCS for any project, but especially the bathrooms where quality matters and corners shouldn’t be cut. They water tested the area that was done by the previous contractor to ensure where they were picking up from was on a solid foundation.

The Gercken team did a GREAT job on a total bathroom remodel. This project consisted of a total tear out and rebuild. The entire bathroom was finished just like we had initially requested. We would use Gercken again.

This company is stellar in every way since we have been working with them. Quality, straight talk, knowledgeable, amazing relationship with their customers. I'll add more later.
