Jims Barber Shop

I have thin balding hair that actually takes more care to look professional. Jim His Daughter and the whole gang "gets it" and I
no longer tell them what to do, how to cut my hair, they just cut and I leave looking better. Two wonderful dogs roam about
while you wait. I use to joke it takes 2 weeks for a haircut to look good. Can't say that now.
I allow 30 minutes to wait but often they have a chair quicker than that. 5 stars !!

Visited for first time on April 25, 2023, after moving to area...had always paid top notch barbers to cut my hair because it is exceedingly difficult (requires shaping rather more than cutting/shaving/fading). Jim provided me with a superb military style faded haircut, as good as any I had received previously. It also should be noted that the shop is in a convenient location, the prices are good, and everyone was exceedingly friendly.

Brian was amazing and patient with my son for his second haircut ever. My son didn't make it easy but Brian was up to the challenge. The shop is walk in only which really works well with a chaotic schedule. I've gone to many barbers that are very busy and book out in advance. To be able to just show up and get a good cut is amazing. The shop dogs are fun to play with as well.

Really glad I found Jim’s and it has now been my go to for almost 2 years. It’s hard to find your more old school places nowadays where people remember your name, care about you, and want you to come back.

The entire staff is great but I do have to give a shout out to Brian and always keeping me looking clean.

Brian cut my hair up exactly right. Excellent transition from fade to scissor. Excellent beard trim. Nothing was rushed. Every detail was important.
I normally cut my hair myself. But I think maybe those days are done.
I don’t live in Liberty - I pass through on my commute. But a haircut like this would be worth the drive even on a day off.

I always have such a good and friendly experience. Great quality haircut at a great price. Highly recommend!

If you want a quick, in-n-out, mediocre hair cut go somewhere else... Everyone at Jim's does an excellent job at making my cut look great! They take their time and do it right. I love that they actually engage in meaningful conversations with you, if you like. Genuine down-to-earth people. I'm happy that we still have an actual "old fashioned" barber shop. Thanks Jim's!

Jim's is the best, a great hometown barber! They give shaves too and I really love the added touch of getting the back of my neck shaved instead of buzzed with clippers. I absolutely love Theresa and all the other barbers are great too!

Great, experienced, friendly staff. Barbers are also capable of doing hot shaves and trim your edges with a straight razor and hot cream unless the customer requests otherwise. A true, old school barbershop experience where they give top notch hair cuts at a fair price. I wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else.

This is a wonderful place to get your haircut. Paul has been cutting my hair for 10 years, except a few times Teresa cut it. The banter between the two of them is like an episode of MASH. Jim is a good man even if he does have some Jayhawk desecration art on the wall!

1st getting a beard trim. Brian did a great job and was very informative on how to grow and shape a beard. I will be back.

I used to go to Harvey's Barbershop, on the Square, in downtown Liberty. When he closed shop, I was lost. I no longer had "my barber"...I needed to find a new one. One day, I walked into Jim's. It was great! The haircut I received was exactly what I wanted. I have a beard, it looks as good as ever, after a trip to Jim's.
The quality of haircut you get, which is quite good... a "cut"above the rest if you will...they will even use hot lather and a straight razor, if you dare!
Jim's Barbershop is now, and will continue to be, for the foreseeable future, my "go to" barbershop here in Liberty. I would recommend them to anybody.

The best in old school hair cut's. and the cost is just right. Jim and his family are the best.
Some time the wait can be abit long. But worth every moment. Awsome people great experience.

They've been here as long as I can remember. Still the same great barbershop. Staff is very good about covid precautions. A good deal on a haircut too!

This is an excellent barber shop. I have been going there for about 5 years since my old barber shop of about 40 years retired. He recommended Jim's Barber shop and I am well satisfied with the shop.

I am picky on barber shops. So the fact I recommend this place says it's fine, lol. Prices are cheaper then most places, and service is good.
