The Laughing Place Bakery

As soon as I step through the door I was welcomed to a family friendly atmosphere. I ordered a cinnamon roll, chocolate chip cookies and a lemon cupcake. Everything was extremely fresh and rich. I enjoyed everything ,but the cupcake; however I am a picky eater at heart so I won't slander them for it. If I'm in the area I will probably come back again.

Now Gluten Free is everyday! Love this local spot and now it is even more amazing that everything is GF, and not just on Tuesdays.

Your friends will never know that all these tasty and wonderful treats are GF - from beautiful bread loaves and scones to cakes, cookies, pies, and DELICIOUS cinnamon rolls. I can't rave about this bakery enough.

Oh, and be sure to grab a coffee or tea along side your treats - either to take away or enjoy while you are there.

Nice and enjoyable place to spend a few minutes with friends. Doesn't feel like a place a business, more like the family room of a friend. Nice change of pace, super friendly staff. Cinnamon roll was right out of the oven and was delicious.

The Laughing Place Bakery is an amazing local bakery that pours as much love into the community as it does its products and service. Everything my family has ever bought from here has been excellent quality, and it's a place where everybody knows your name. For my wedding I purchased a beautiful carrot cake, that people absolutely loved. I couldn't have asked for a better cake or company to work with for my special day.

Guitar player for the band down the street was having a blood sugar issue and this bakery OPENED their doors after closing to give him a life saving snack. This will forever be my favorite bakery!

We used Laughing Place to cater our wedding cupcakes and the experience and taste was wonderful! All of our guests were so happy with the desserts and Anisa was absolutely wonderful. She was so quick with responses and very thorough and clear with
all of our options for flavors and prices. Would definitely recommend Anisa to all friends and family.

Gluten free bakery!!!! My hubby loved the scones and isnt GF...Saw a post from FB and drive from Blue Springs...WOW .... The treats were amazing! Pumpkin/cream cheese muffin, Lemon Raspberry tea cake, blueberry scone!! All delicious! I can't wait to come in the am and try the quiche & cinnamon rolls..

What a comfortable place to go and enjoy a latte and a fresh croissant! The decor is beautiful. Every single thing they make is delicious, and I've tried a whole lot! Their homemade chai is delicious, try it dirty with the sugar cookie syrup, you'll thank me!
Tuesday is gluten free day, I am beyond thankful to be able to get gluten free options for my daughter, she loves the cinnamon rolls and banana bread!

We love this place. Atmosphere is homey, friendly and inviting. We just found out they do everything Gluten Free and that's AWESOME! The cinnamon roll has got to be our favorite and that new Campfire Mocha... MMMMMMMMM!

Absolutely wow! Found this place online and thought to give them a try today. Apparently Tuesday’s are gluten free day. Didn’t stop me. I have found my new favorite peanut butter cookie! And the oatmeal cookies are really good too! And I don’t like oatmeal. The ladies were very nice and pleasant during my experience. I’ll remember this place and will tell everyone I know! Amazing selection of Glutin free, always tasting amazing, and always great customer service. Our daughter loves this place due to having celiac and not able to eat gluten. The service is amazing and the food is unbelievable... Thank u for all u do!!!

Have placed 2 catering orders for my workplace this week and service was outstanding. The owner was so friendly, even threw in a few extra goodies on our sampler plate, and provided us with a fancy glass platter to use for the week. Ordering online (whether for individuals or catering orders) is SO easy, items are ready for pick-up at the perfect time, and everything tastes delicious. I am very happy to support a local business and this is my new go-to spot!

REALLY great desserts, really accommodating to gluten intolerance (for family members), the only thing we have not been impressed with is their cake. If you love biscuits and gravy, you HAVE to try theirs on Saturday mornings. Oh my gosh. SO GOOD. A bit pricey but SO WORTH IT. The staff is super nice, and it is a nice Christianly place.

Best kept secret in the city! Gladstone is so lucky to have this business in their city! I have never had anything from here that wasn't outstanding! Try the blackberry peach custard pie. Atmosphere is warm and inviting and staff is always friendly. I'm telling everyone I know to visit this wonderful bakery!

One of my favorite things about Gladstone is living across the street from The Laughing Place Bakery. I always have a pleasant experience! I would recommend getting the quiche however you can’t go wrong with any of the baked goods and there’s always a good selection.
