Country Cookie (Antioch Crossing)

Country Cookie is very family friendly and cute little bakery. They have mostly cookies, but a few other treats as well. I personally love their powdered sugar covered chocolate cookies.

It is a locally owned, small business as well so comments/suggestions really do get to the owner. My husband is celiac and when we initially visited this bakery they did not have any gluten-free options for him. However, the cookies I had were amazing so I was willing to go back on my own. The next time I stopped by they had purchased gluten-free cookies! They aren't homemade, but they are (according to my husband) delicious and moist. It's a great option for him since he almost never gets to eat cookies so we are super grateful that the owners listened to their customers and worked to provide a solution!

Lovely little shop tucked between Starbucks and Mod Pizza. Open floor plan with exposed ceilings allows you to see into the baking/kitchen area.
They have a range of fresh baked cookies on hand as well as unique and creative gifts.
They also do custom orders and special occasion cookies. The decorated 8" cookie with personalized message came in right at $14 which is a great deal.
Looking forward to many more visits in the future!

Yummy and fresh! We tried the sugar cookie & Strawberry cake cookie. $3 for two of the most delicious treats. Well worth it!!

This is the most amazing cookie place. The cookies are always fresh and have been delightfully consistent every single time. I love the sprinkles, but the chocolate chip peanut butter are my absolute favorite! I love when we receive these as a sweet surprise at school from staff, students, or parents! It’s always appreciated and brightens my day! They are so delicious! #1bestcookieever

Baking up fresh from scratch Cookies is their thing! They have a great variety. You can also place orders for specific flavors as well as custom decorated cookies. You should definitely give this local business your support. My favorite is the peanut butter blossom, oatmeal raisin and the lemon bar.

This place is amazing! I messaged them early one day and asked for a special rush job for my son's Birthday, that day! He wanted a certain type of cookie cake, not just a grocery store one, changed his mind at 9pm and didn't think mom could make the Birthday magic work. I didn't think it would happen either, but hoped it could. Well they worked it into their busy day and it was ready by 4pm! They saved the day and made it even more special that mom could produce a special request last minute! AND, on top if that it was the most wonderfully delicious cookie cake we have ever had! We have been back for other events since and they are my go to cookie place now! They are all so friendly and just wonderful!

Been here 4-5 times since they opened up. I would agree that they didn’t have the best cookies when they first opened. However the last 2-3 times we stopped by the Cooke’s where all really soft and delicious. Glad we continue going and hope they continue to keep doing whatever they’re doing!! If you’ve tired in the past, give them another try, it’s worth it!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Country Cookies!! So excited to finally have a store here in KC to be able to share hometown favorites with friends in the city!!! The strawberry and lemon are the BEST around...melt in your mouth yummy goodness!!! Would love to see some seating options to be able to grab a cookie and enjoy there sometimes!!

Hard to find a place that sells iced sugar cookies these days. Aunt Mary's are really good and so are these! You can taste the homemade recipe in the cookies and the icing (lots of butter). Soft and crumbly and definitely satisfies my sweet tooth. Glad they opened up here.

If you are looking for a tasty, hearty, homestyle cookie at a reasonable price, this is perfect. I don’t understand the complains about customer service. You are there to buy cookies. As long as they know what the type of cookies, that’s all that matters. You can always go next-door to Starbucks and pay $3 for a frozen cookie so someone can call out your name to make you feel special.

I love country cookie! I'd heard about them since I have family in St Joe and now I'm so happy that there's one so close my home! I usually stop by once a week and now that hey're extending their hours it will he more convenient to stop by.

They were kind of picked over, but the employee was already working on getting more out in the disply. The cookies were all very soft, with a lot of flavor. The oatmeal banana was particularly good

I love these cookies! I used to eat them all the time when I lived in St. Joseph. So glad they opened one in KC!

Originally from St. Joe moved to KC 5 years ago and almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the sign here! Love the friendly atmosphere and the cookies are the best!
