East Slope Memorial Garden Cemetery

Both my mother and father are buried here. I love that they leave out your flower and decorations longer than most cemeteries. It means alot. Even though someone stole my mother's flower vase from her head stone. I'm glad they are at peace.

My little girl rest here and I have to say how I appreciate the fact that the grounds keeper always leaves the flowers and toys that I place there. The cemetery could use some TLC but as a whole, I am not dissatisfied and will be buried beside my child when the time comes.

We visited this cemetery on Sep 23, 2018 and found the entire cemetery in DEPLORABLE condition. The grass was about 8-12 inches tall except the part that showed to the street. Faded plastic flowers littered the entire cemetery. A statue of Jesus had one of His hands broken off. Parts of American flags were shredded, torn apart, filthy laying on the ground. Weeds and vines growing everywhere, even on the carillon. Ground hogs are living under some of the tomb stones. There are dying trees and downed branches through out. Trying to find a loved ones grave marker was almost impossible, in fact, we never located grandparents' grave sites. After finding a marker, we had to pull weeds to see the names. THIS IS THE WORST CONDITION OF AN ACTIVE CEMETERY WE HAVE EVER WITNESSED! HOW SAD AND DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!

Grass isn't kept up, and the caretaker runs the urns over at will and never places back. I wish I had the money to relocate my whole family.
