Ark Animal Hospital is AMAZING. My two cats both see Dr. Tucker and he’s kind, helpful, and honest. One of my cats had a bad reaction to anesthesia which was a huge surprise and it’s incredibly rare. Ark was able to care of her and handle the situation with ease. Dr. Tucker then took the time to sit down with me to explain exactly what happened. My other cat hurt his leg somehow. Dr. Tucker did not order X-rays because he didn’t feel it was needed. I have been to other vets who have ordered so many different tests and X-rays for the money and that does not happen at Ark Animal Hospital. Thank you Ark for everything!

Our senior cat was having a spinal stroke, and they got us in immediately. Dr Casey didn't even need to waste my money on tests and scans, she knew right away what was going on. She gave him a big dose of steroids, and said to give it a week, it's day 2 and he has already improved significantly. I appreciate her not doing more than necessary to diagnose the issue. Thank you

We had an emergency situation with our Boxer and had never been to this clinic. I can confidently say we will never use any other vet! Dr. Denny and his entire staff are amazing. They went out of their way to make sure our fur baby got the BEST care! They took us in on a Saturday morning when no one else would. They even stayed after the clinic was closed to provide the care our dog needed. Thank you so much Dr. Denny! You are truly an amazing person!

I've been to a lot of vets around Kansas City and I've finally found the one I like most. The service, facilities, and kindness are perfect. Also, the doctor told me a diagnosis for my dog that 2 other clinics could not. That really impressed me.

I have 3 animals, and my visit with Dr. Morrow was the first doctor I left without feeling like I was treated as if I was stupid. He patiently listened to all of my concerns, and answered every question I had. I didn’t feel rushed out. He personally walked me upfront and made sure I got scheduled for the rest of my pups vaccines. I’ve been hopping from vet to vet to find the right one, and here we are, I honestly never want to go to another vet, is well worth the 35 minute drive! Thank you Dr. Morrow & staff!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Ark Animal Hospital. I have a dog and a cat, and they have taken excellent care of them over the years.

Last year, my dog was attacked by another dog during a walk, and Ark Animal Hospital immediately got us in for an appointment. Then later that day, I was worried my dog was going into shock, and they let us come in for another impromptu appointment.

It’s just great knowing that when emergencies happen, you have a vet clinic you can count on. The staff is always polite and helpful and I’ve had good experiences with all the doctors.

It’s been a week as of today and I think I finally have the words to describe how utterly amazing this clinic is. My Bernese mtn dog, Kato (2) got fixed by another clinic and was having issues walking and standing. It was at that point 9 days post op. We came to this wonderful clinic and got seen right away. I surmised from the look on the Doctors face it wasn’t good. My dog could have had tetanus, meningitis or another neurological condition. We had to make the decision at that point to either treat him and it be a really rough, costly and hard journey or let him go peacefully. We choose to let him go. There was so much damage it possibly could’ve compromised and affected the quality of day to day life.
The doctor and all staff were so absolutely caring. They gave my boy some chocolate to enjoy before him passing. The compassion, kindness and just down right beautiful souls wasn’t something you think you needed in a crisis, but there they are at this clinic. Helping you through one of the hardest decisions you can make with a beloved pet. Caring for you like you’re family and they don’t even know you. Showing so much love, compassion and kindness that I’m so truly grateful for.
They let me stay with my boy as long as I wanted. I truly can not thank them enough for everything they did. They deserve 10/10 because they are truly that good. So if you’re on the fence about going here don’t be. They will take care of you and care about your pet as if it was their own. Definitely give them a chance. They will not disappoint you.

Ark has been our vet for 12 years. They take exceptionally good care of my pups. I am so grateful to have them help me provide the best care for my dogs.

A bit on the pricy side for neutering, but it's worth every penny. In addition to the procedure, they monitor the animals with ekg and send them home with antibiotics and pain meds. Our pup also had a bit of an infection on his face and they took the extra measure to let us know and sent him home with medication for that as well.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this establishment to a friend.

In 20 years, I have been here with 2 cats and 1 dog and won't go anywhere else. They are all so extremely kind and take the time to listen to you and answer all your questions. They are truly an emphatic, caring vet clinic...I have not met one employee there who was inconsiderate!

This is a great practice! We and our dog love coming here. The upmost best care and take the time to explain everything to you. My dog doesn't even mind going. Our little girl had a rough weekend and got us in right away again. Been going here for a year and a half and will continue to do so.

My two dogs are anxious and usually scaredy cats but they are treated so we'll here that they calm down almost immediately. I also feel SO comfortable doing curbside here, I know my animals are going to be treated with the gentle respect they deserve. They are loved and that's hard to find. The patience that the staffs shows to panicky parents, like myself, is just kind blowing. I love it here.

Ark Animal is one of the best vets I have used. They take great care of our two dogs, and understand the difficulties our pitty has.

my cat Pete has chronic health issues, so we are frequent visitors to Ark. I was referred to them by a friend whose pets also have serious health issues, so I knew I could trust them. At this point, they are family and look forward to seeing my cat whenever he comes to visit. Even Pete looks forward to seeing them! Dr. Tucker and Jessie are his favorite friends.

Our little Leah is doing much better after visiting this center. They was very organized, professional. They were also considerate of public safety by adapting to the whole pandemic/covid epidemic. Very safe, fast and friendly place I would recommend it to anyone.

I definitely trust these vets! We initially started visiting them during covid so you would give them your pet and then communicate over the phone from your car. I had forgotten to tell them about an old and pretty minor knee injury my dog had and the vet was able to detect on his own. It showed that they are very thorough when examining your pet. They are also very good about not having multiple pets in the lobby at a time so things never get chaotic while waiting for your appointments. They are the only people i trust with boarding my dogs. The staff are all wonderful at communicating and answering questions.

If I could give more stars I would, and I will forever recommend my people to this vet! They saved my tiny dog Zeus from a severe upper respiratory infection that could have killed him, and had to keep him overnight to be on doggy IVs. I was a nervous wreck leaving him but we got him back the next morning and he was onto a full recovery from there and is now doing amazing.The vet techs still check in through text and clearly care so much about their little patients. Im eternity grateful for this team of incredible humans. 🫶🏼
