Bei Jing House

Loved it ! At first i didnt even know we had a local restraunt. Its hard to see from the road its located beside dominoes and behind hardees! The lady was very nice and food was nice and hot

When you call, don't get your feelings hurt, the owner( the wife) answers the phone to take your order. She is very quick and to the point. Food is AMAZING and ours has been right each time.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants around.. their most well known for take out, so their lobby is usually empty and very peaceful for the select few who do want to dine in.. service is nice and quick, staff is super friendly, and the food couldn't be better..

Food was very tasty, the price was extremely reasonable (so cheap that I tip when ordering takeout from them), and the portions were huge. If you plan on ordering from them be ready to wait an hour for your food. Sometimes it is quicker but there is only 2 employees and they cook everything fresh to order. They stay very busy as well so there is usually 1-3 orders in front of you. It is worth the wait though in my opinion. The food is very tasty.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with them now that I know the process lol. I am all about supporting small businesses in my town. We will continue eating food from this establishment!

We eat here often. Prices are competitive with other take-out places in this genre. I get the chicken fried rice. Serving sizes are large. This place is popular and cooks to order. It is always fresh. I reccomend giving yourself adequate time and ordering 30 minutes ahead of time.

First, this is the BEST Chinese food in St. Francois County and surrounding areas.

After moving to the area 2 years ago, I tried and failed time and time again, to find a place that even came close to the famous St. Louis Chinese food that I was used too until I found this place. Lots of favor and the fried rice is truly St. Louis style fried rice (minus the onions and eggs). Yes, it is a little greasy and crispy at times, but that's the best part! If I wanted bland fluffy rice for dinner I'd thrown some in my rice cooker at home.

I love lots of flavor/seasoning to my food and Bei Jing House meets my expectations every single time.

Second, I see a lot of negative reviews about the owner being rude. She has NEVER been rude to me because I treat her, and her business, with respect and kindness and she has always responded with the same. I cannot even imagine the Karens and Kens they have to deal with, which probably got even worse after the pandemic. You call in an order and she says 30 mins but it takes a hour, they got busy. Bunch of orders came in at the same time, you're going to have to wait longer. They won't take your order cause they're closing within a hour, maybe they have family obligations after they close. There is only 2, sometimes 3 people working. Give them a break and don't run off and bash them on reviews. It's a family run business in the our community.

Bottom line: She works hard to run their business. Their food is amazing and if you treat her like she's a cashier at McDonald's she's not going to be nice to you. Show your appreciation for her hard work with a tip and I promise you'll get a big smile and "thank you".

If I have the option to pick Bejing House for dinner, by golly that’s what we will have every time. They just always get it right. A few of our go to favorites are Hot Braised Chicken, Kung pao chicken, chicken teriyaki (on a stick) and the salty crab ragoons. I’ve never ordered a bad option though. Some of the best food I have eaten! I called in an order at 4:30 PM and when I got there at 5:10 PM it was ready for me to pick up...I drove home to Ste.Gen county and had it for supper..very good! I will definitely order from there again😁

Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. Big portions and prices so reasonable that I always tip for carryout. Ive read some reviews that describe the older lady as rude but I just found her to be to the point, fast and efficient. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great food and great quality. Fast and the dinning is always clean. Small for dine in area. Good for 1-2 people.

This is primarily a takeout food establishment. They do have a few tables and chairs if you want to dine in, though.

I have been a patron since they first opened their doors. The food is always great, I have never had a problem with the service, and the prices are very reasonable.
