After 2 years, I was finally able to get my device removed today. I'm very grateful for how easy they made a pretty difficult & quite frankly, embarrassing situation. I never felt judged & making appointments was easy & I never had to wait beyond my appointment time. Joel is awesome & definitely made a difference. While I hated having to recalibrate every month, Joel was friendly & helpful & made the situation more than bearable. He even went above & beyond today to help me fix an issue with my trunk. It was not convenient to drive to Independence when other interlock places were way closer but I'm glad I did for the service I received. Thank you & I hope to never see you again...at least not there. :)

My husband used this service to get an ignition interlock device on vehicle, they were easy to work with from start to finish. They responded quickly to any email we sent and their phone representatives were always courteous and helpful. The guys at the shop were always professional and made this tough process easier to go through. I would recommend them if anyone needs to have an ignition interlock device.

I recommend anybody going through the situation to go with this company, especially the Independence location. Joel made this experience so smooth with his expertise and personality that I'm actually kind of sad I won't see him anymore. A lot of people are fake and you can tell, but Joel is 100% genuine everytime! I just got my system removed today and it's bitter sweet, because I'm going to miss Joel. =(

After researching the mandatory installation of an ignition interlock device on my 2018 Fusion, and reading the horror stories of the customer dissatisfaction level of the companies available, I found this company was the only one in my area who passed the grade with positive reviews. Contacting someone immediately (who is friendly and eager to help with whatever the issue) is so easy a caveman could do it. I was put in contact with Chelsea, who was not only friendly and eager to help, but very knowledgeable of the process. Same goes for the technician, Joel. Very professional and knowledgeable. Most comforting is the response time and communication within the company. The left hand always knows what the right hand is doing. I have no regrets, and highly recommend Joel in Independence, Mo. Give that man a raise!!!!

I have used this company (twice unfortunately) and both times I had the same experience. The service was simple, friendly, and fast. The device is simple and easy to use, the service is the cheapest around, and the tech at the Independence location has gone out of his way multiple times to answer my questions, get to know me, and give me any help or helpful advice. I’ve been absolutely floored by how easy he has made this whole process. I’m having my device removed today and I would still recommend this location to anyone who needs an interlock device.

Obviously if you're needing these services, you are likely going through a rough time. Kevin and Nick made everything as simple, and as pain free as possible. After reading countless reviews and calling dozens of places for quotes; this was the ONLY company that truly didn't charge you an install fee. They were completely up front about their pricing from beginning to end. My install was free, and after tax, my monthly up-keep was only $81. There is not another company I would recommend for these services, if you want the best pricing, honest service, and a pain free experience.

Joel was outstanding to deal with. His understanding and curtious manner made an awful situation tolerable. It was always a pleasant experience to come in for downloads and finally Removal! If anyone I know doesn't listen to me and ends up in this situation, I will certainly send them here.

Joel was fantastic. Always helpful and knowledgeable. I obviously hated having to drive to Independence all the time and do all of the things necessary to get my license back but Joel and company made it bearable! If you live in MO around KC and get yourself in a little trouble... These guys will make it as pain free as possible.

Hated the process but this servicer does a fine job with scheduling, installation, monitoring, and removal, to make things as simple as possible when faced with this mandatory reinstatement requirement. -- ***Depending on your situation, I highly recommend contacting the DOR directly to expedite final download and removal when you become eligible.***

I went thru alot of tough times this past year, involving my device and also some stuff in my personal life. Obviously shopping around for an ignition interlock device isn't something that you want to me a regular thing; however, I would highly recommend this company. All of the staffing, including customer service are very easy to deal with, and they help out with those now and then payment arrangements. (seeing as how you are probably broke already from the court fees, lawyers, SR-22, etc. from your DUI). Fast, friendly and ever since Joel has taken over the independence location it increased their rating from me to 5 stars rather than 3 that I would have put with the other associates in the past. Hopefully you will never have to look at reviews for ignition interlocks, but if you do, Missouri Ignition Interlock Devices is a great company to do business with!

Even though it sucks having these devices on your vehicle, the process of everything was smooth and painless. I only had a few appointments with Joel as the technician, but hats off to that guy for doing everything by himself. Stand up guy, give this guy a raise.

The owner is very knowledgeable about the steps and actions you need to do to use the devices. Very personable and friendly. 1 on 1 help and non judgmental. Kinda of feel like I'm getting a good deal under the circumstances.

They are super friendly and helpful. They get you in and out quickly. Just don't be late for your appointments are they will charge you. They make appointments every 10 minutes so they're on a tight schedule.
