Stopped in while in Liberty to look at a work project. We ordered the raspberry and dark chocolate latte. It was very good! And, I found actual raspberry seeds in my coffee. That told me a lot about the quality, real flavors!! Will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time catching up on work while sipping on a vanilla bean latte. Super tasty and highly recommended. The drink was very tasty and I had to hold my self back from guzzling it. Staff was friendly.

First thing I noticed was the really cool color scheme! Y’all did so good!! We enjoyed our coffee and food, will be telling our friends, family, and followers (we have a YouTube channel about things to do in KC 😉) about this place.

Another Saturday, another amazing coffee shop. Hammerhand in Liberty is a great space to drop in for coffee. The space is huge so bring friends & the coffee is great. They have burritos & other breakfast items for your enjoyment too!

Hammerhand has become our go to coffee shop anytime we are headed to or through Liberty. We also always take friends and or recommend to friends who will be in the area. Beautiful shop and the coffee is great. My wife is also a big fan of the pop tarts! I love my cold brew with cold foam it's better than most!

I have had a very pleasant experience here each time I’ve visited! The coffee is AMAZING! It’s clean! Has all the local vibes that I enjoy! Any time I am in the area, I stop to visit and show my support!
I can be very friendly just bc I love people, connection and breaking narratives. I get everyone is not like that. So, I do have to remember when I am talking too much to the Baristas. 😆 I just like to vibe w/ the energies that are making my coffee!✨

Staff is friendly and helpful. Super quick service in a cute little shop. A great place to meet up with friends or study for school.

Hammerhand is now my favorite coffee in the city. After working in midtown for over a decade and having to get my good coffee down there, I'm so thrilled to finally have found amazing coffee in the Northland. The Mayan Spiced Mocha is my favorite, but everything is excellent. Plus we love the baked goods - especially the blackberry peach muffin and pop tarts! The coffeehouse itself is great too, a lovely old building with lots of comfortable seating of different types. I love it!

Amazing coffee and pastries! Very well set up and decorated inside! Really great amount of tables and chairs and great location. Great view of the Liberty Square! And great beer selection! Deffinetly a place we will keep coming back too......😉

Beyond words type of good espresso..... Obviously. The only way I could deem any 'coffee shop' 5⭐good. I have gone to coffee shops in the past that I literally put up with the staff just for the goods. Not the case here. Don't come in expecting Starbucks...This ain't your place. Quality over quantity, house made syrups, they want you to sit and drink the beverage how it should be....What to expect: with the utmost respect (because Im in the category as well) I say you will find coffee house geek-ary at its finest, Black Keys type music, students a studying, young families meeting up with friends, a wonderer or two who haven't the slightest idea this wasn't Starbucks, and maybe a few like me who weird-out, ya know bring out thier gel pen and sharpie collection to color and end up people watching. Good stuff guys Hammerhand Coffee is off to a great start and exercise those wrists, you don't want carpel tunnel!!!

Cute shop with great coffee. They have lots of options, even for non coffee drinkers. They had pastries as well as alcoholic beverages. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as this was our first time there. My sister tried one of the muffins and said it was delicious. They have a rewards program as well. You get stars for each visit. I will definitely be back.

Great local coffee place with rotation of drinks including alcohol. Great place to study or get work done as well. My favorite drinks have been the bourbon coffee concoction they used to have (can't remember the name) and the Mayan mocha with a hint cayenne in it, both are great drinks. Every coffee I've tried has been flavorful and ranged from above average (6.5/10) to great (10/10) just depending on what they had in and I chose that day.

The staff has always been great. They will answer any questions informatively without seeming smug or uppity, and they will gladly just have a conversation if they are not busy.

I would highly recommend a visit to this place if you've never been and for sure stop by if your in the area. You won't regret it.

So excited to have found this place! My partner and I travel through here to visit family a couple times a year and we are really into finding good coffee and this spot was a totally unexpected gem. The espresso was well pulled, you could really taste the beans and the creme looked wonderful. I ended up buying beans because I was so impressed, which I have greatly enjoyed at home since then (as I visited a few weeks back). Definitely was really busy when I went so be prepared to wait a bit, but worth it.

Awesome high quality roasted in house coffee. I am very picky when it comes to origin, variety, roast process, etc. I bought a bag of coffee to take home of a natural processed single origin which are my favorites when fermented and roasted right. These guys hit it spot on. I will definitely be back for some high quality roasts. Glad to have found this place and plan to make it a must go to spot when in Liberty.

Cozy and modern theme decor coffee shop. I had an excellent cup of coffee and didn't disappoint me. Their pastries were yummy. Wonderful coffee shop to visit frequently.

Good coffee, good food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Liberty is lucky to have this place!

If you think that you have tried all of the coffee places in Kansas City, think again. Swing by Hammerhand and get a delicious cup of joe or a cortado if you like, there's something for everyone. Hammerhand has recently re-opened its doors to the public and with oh-so-many coffee blends roasted by owner Alex and his crew, you will want to come back again!

I personally don't do coffee and wasn't in mood for hot chocolate but my friends said everything was awesome! My waistline was happy I didn't see the cookies and muffins until we were walking out the door!

We had an espresso, cortado, and a single origin and they were all amazing. Staff was helpful and very attentive.

This place is great, worth going to. I was recently there and didn’t realize it wasn’t opened yet but the staff on duty were willing to serve me without making me wait the extra half hour until opening. This is great service and exemplifies how they treat people. The place has great seating and wonderful sunlight that streams through the windows.
