Las Islas Marias

This was my second visit. After the first visit I wanted to return. A coworker wanted the name of a good seafood restaurant in Merriam. I suggested Las Islas Marias. We drove all the out 30 minutes and everyone was impressed. I got the seafood pasta, best I've every had. Delicious!!

Amazing service from Lourdes our server. She was sweet and personable and brought us our dishes quickly. Food was excellent especially liked the salsas, tostados and fish/veggie ceviche that come as the starter. The sauce that comes with the levanta muertos is delicious and the bay scallops were melt in your mouth tender. Atmosphere is inviting and low key. We will be back! 👍🏻

Great place to come out to. Our server was great she made sure we were taken care of. The food here is amazing. I don't know what gave one of the previous commenter the idea that this was Texmex but Texmex is absolutely terrible when it comes to an authentic restaurant like this. That comment made me chuckle. The flavors of the food were delicious and yes they have a bunch of seafood options but there are enough non seafood options. My dish was absolutely delicious. It had an Alfredo taste to it. I also had a pina colada which was delicious and as I'd expect it to taste. I highly recommend this place especially if you like seafood.

Service was great. Our waitress Crystal went above and beyond to give us wonderful service. The food was fresh. I felt as if I was back in my home state of Texas eating off the coast

Amazing food. This molcajete was incredible the flavors were perfect and the shrimp were sweet. I am leery of ordering seafood as the flavor is off or the meat is tough. Not here, I will be returning on my next trip to KC.

The seafood Molcajete here is the best and the rice and beans are excellent. Sometimes they have live music too. It is a cool little spot.

Good food , but was shocked to see 15% gratuity automatically added to my ticket after the fact I paid and adding 15%. Keep in mind this was for 2 people

Mexican restaurants are everywhere. Seafood restaurants are everywhere. The combination of both is so unheard of in the Midwest I just had to try it. It was great. The whole family enjoyed it. I had the camarones cucaracha and loved it. When getting the chips and salsa, beware of the green chili salsa! I'll be back.

Great place for mariscos. From the complimentary ceviche, tostadas and green salsa ( very spicy, be careful with it) to the main course, everything was on point.

Great food! I know it's not Sinaloan style but it took me back when I was in Mazatlan.

Great customer service. Food is good. The place is small. They have a lot of customers. You will have a great time at this restaurant. We needed a restaurant like this in KS area.

OUTSTANDING authentic Mexican food. Place is clean and well put, friendly staff, salivating delicious food. We are extremely happy to come here and are glad we did. We will be coming back here soon to enjoy some more tasty foods!!!

I went to eat there yesterday and I was served by waiter Antonio he was very respectful and his attentiveness was great. The food was great too. I definitely will be returning!

First time here. We (group of 6) came in 15 minutes before closing not sure what to expect. Maryori was our waitress and she was great. The food was excellent and the service was great. I recommend coming to this place if you like see food.

Highly recommend this place me and my co-worker went there last night. Food was very delicious and the service was spot-on. Jonathan does a phenomenal job managing this location! We will definitely be back with more people 🙌
