we were taken care of quite promptly. No waiting time in the waiting room, but the time in the ER room was quite long and I realize that is because it takes a while to get all the test results back. And if another emergency comes in, they are then the priority. Other than that, the nurses and doctors were great to us.

Started pt for frozen shoulder. The receptionist was nice and helpful, and the physical therapist was great! I know they have to be tough sometimes (she was easy on me my first visit), but it is to get what needs to be done in order for me to heal. I just love everyone that I have delt with at Providence.

I was recently admitted for a gall bladder attack and the care I received was excellent in every regard. The nurses were so caring and kind and the doctors likewise were very informative and understanding. In my opinion you will never find a better hospital in Kansas City. I have been to Menorah, St. Lukes, Research, Baptist Memorial, and Shawnee Mission in the past and Providence is at the top of my list. I really appreciate the care I was given and they made a miserable illness much easier for me to handle.

I had a great experience....from the EMS guys, to being admitted to the ER and being treated.
Super nice and efficient staff - polite, introduced themselves, explained what was going on, and very caring.
The docs, nurses, PA, techs, general staff - ALL were so nice!!

Providence Medical Center outpatient surgery department took excellent care of me recently for a minor hand surgery. The registration process was quick and efficient. The outpatient nurses Laura and Erin got me ready very quickly and explained what would be happening very clearly . They did a quick review of my medical history and medication’s making sure everything was accurate. Dr. Smith and Emalee the cRNA also reviewed my history and honored my specific request . I woke up in the recovery room very comfortable and warm and felt very safe with the recovery room nurse Laurie by my side . She treated my discomfort quickly And helped me feel my best
And allowed my husband to participate in the discharge process. I highly recommend Providence Medical Center where I enjoyed the compassionate care of skilled professionals!

I was surprised at the quick service I received in the ER on Wednesday morning. I was dreading going because of the usual long wait time. I was checked in by a very pleasant and helpful registration person. I was immediately taken back to Triage by a friendly nurse. However immediately upon entering the room she was called away to an emergency ambulance patient. I didn't mind and had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. The doctor who examined me was friendly and very thorough. She diagnosed my pain quickly and recommended a solution. She was very helpful and kind. Everyone...the vitals nurse, X-ray technician and medication nurse were all very nice. I feel much better today! Thank you PMC. Best ER experience I have ever had.

From the lady at desk where I walked in. To the lady that checked me in. That literally walked me to my appointment. To the gentleman that gave me my sonogram that had me in and out before my appointment time. Then walked me down to my next appointment. Where I should have waited for 3 hours before I was scheduled, but worked me in 15 minutes. Both explained what they were going to do in a way that I could understand.
It’s comfortable to be able to do business with people that are that professional.

Providence Med Ctr has always been good to me and my family. My ER doctor took the time to do some of the nurses’ job over when they were busy, hooking up my iv line with meds and bring me juice and crackers. I’ve never had a doctor do that before!! The nurse needed a little more experience but the doctor was fabulous!

I just had a procedure done in the Outpatient GI department. Gimminea, Heather, Brenda were so informative and put my mind at ease. They made my visit so relaxing and provided exceptional care. Thank you again to the Outpatient team!

Providence ER is very well equipped and simply beautiful as a hospital setting. The staff is responsive and well trained. Tests are immediate and thorough. Parking is friendly and close to the entrance. The Doctors take their interface with patients quickly and always stay calm and available to them throughout the time allowing them to understand the patients.

I did 12 sessions with physical therapist, Eugene, for my shoulder. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He has a peaceful presence and is easy to work with. I had a lot of improvement to my shoulder during this time. Would recommend!

After a lengthy wait in the ER waiting room, once I was seen by ER staff, my hospital stay was amazing. Every staff member treated me with compassion and dignity. I had experiences with techs, nurses, MLP’s, physicians, phlebotomists, housekeeping, dietary and spiritual care. Every single staff member truly went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay.

I came into the ER with MAJOR stomach issues and pains. The Dr that I had in the ER was AMAZING! I also had the honor of having Kristin EMT-P with me in the ER and she was such a doll!!! This was my first time being admitted into a hospital and hands down this is the best staff I've ever came across in a hospital! I am on the 5th floor and all the ladies here are just amazing! Susan has been my nurse for the past 2 days and she's been such a joy!!! Thank you all for taking good care of me and making my first time stay at a hospital as comfortable as you guys did!! Really enjoyed the view as well

I went in at 6 AM for an Out-Patient surgery on my right hand. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the receptionist, which made me feel more at ease and safe.
There after throughout my procedure the entire staff that took care of me made me feel so safe and continually reassured me that everything was going to be just fine.
Totally people who are professionals.

Great experience. From the minute I walked in the door. I had to encounter 5 different people for my visit. Everyone was super polite and professional. In and out with no issues whatsoever. Special shout out to Tech George Easton who was amazing with his personality, attitude and professionalism. It is refreshing to have people like George who likes to laugh and pass his positive attitude onto his patients. I felt refreshed after my visit. Try saying that the next time you leave a hospital.

I am at the present time going to physical therapy, Dr. Wilkinson is my doctor, he is great, very nice and professional.
He ordered physical therapy for me, everyone has been so nice, Megan(sorry if I spelled your name wrong), is Awesome!!!!
Recently worked with Pattie, she is also Awesome!!!
Everything is really going good, definitely improving!

I had a major medical issue, MAJOR! They took wonderful care of me! I would also like to include that every single staff member was professional and super kind!

The outpatient surgery experience at Providence for me yesterday couldn’t have been better.

Everything from check-in to discharge went flawlessly.

I was in a terribly wicked mood to say the very least—because I hadn’t slept a wink and didn’t want to be there so early in the day and am sure everyone could tell I was being a Royal “B”. And without my coffee!

From start —registration to finish all staff —from transporters, secretaries, support staff, technicians, nurses and doctors and anesthesiologists were pleasant, polite, skilled, calm, reassuring, made eye contact, answered my questions with patience, detail, sincerity and truth, and explained everything and guarded my privacy as needed even including in the operating room.

How important and helpful it was for me to experience the environment that was clean, quiet, calm and soothing.

The entire process for me went smoothly without wasting time and energy.

I make these remarks sincerely and hope that your staff and management see my feedback.

Not like dying and going to heaven of course, but definitely doable.
