I ❤ Mema's Bakery and have been a longtime customer for many, many years. I mentioned to a friend I would be stopping by and between the two of us we ordered two walnut and one cream cheese potivica, one apple and one cherry strudel, one boston cream pie and two brownies. Everything was absolutely delicious. We just discovered this little joint. It's right by our house and while we were only seeking a donut, we came out with a bag or two full.

Povitica is FANTASTIC! It is very moist and flavorful. It’s as close to my Croatian grandmother made as you could get. My whole family didn’t believe it until they tried it and agreed.
I also bought the apple strudel and the cinnamon rolls, and as you would expect from a really good bakery they are very very good and would recommend them as well. I highly recommend and will be back again and again...

I love their cream cheeseDanish. The best I've had! They don't carry a lot of items but worth trying them. Also offer few lunch items.

I come here as often as I can for a serving of biscuits and gravy. It is my happy place. I have never had any baked goods that fail to please and they make the best ranch dressing I have ever had. Everything is great here and I’m so excited to have it in the heart of KCK.

Great place to have lunch. I eat there 4 to 5 times a week for lunch. Burgers are to die for. Everyone needs to try the lunch specials. 10 stars.

Im in chicago now but missing Memas Bakery, its been too long. Memas cookies and cream horns are insane. A jewel of a bakery one of KC's best kept secrets. Cinnamon rolls are some of the best ive had.
