If we could give more than 5 stars we would!!! Marlene and her family have taken care of us for both buying and selling our house. They have always treated us like family and made sure we knew it. If you want a family owned and run company who excel in customer service and where you feel like family than look no further than Irvine Real Estate!! No others will be able to compare!

Marlene did an amazing job selling my house. I am living out of the country but Marlene was able to handle getting the house in pristine condition. She understood what my needs are and we made a plan on that, the selling was very smooth. Thank you so much!

Buying our first home was so simple thanks to Marlene. She walked us through the whole process to help us attain the home of our dreams. Marlene is personable, honest, hard working, and constantly her client's advocate throughout the whole process (even after closing). Good place to find a house or rent

It’s not all bad with these guys, but yeah… there’s some major issues. Firstly, Mary Beth (the landlord, who is by all accounts pretty nice) has a daughter named Marlene who is so absolutely rude and awful to customers. Spoke to her on the phone for maybe a minute and was promptly yelled at for calling the phone number that comes up on Google. She’s terrible. On top of this, Mary Beth was very quick to cast blame on US for broken utilities or issues on the property that were clearly not our fault. One plumber came to fix our pipes and ensured us that the problem was that they were old… Mary Beth did not believe us or him.

My biggest issue however is how they handled our deposit. Pretty soon into moving in, we were clearly “too messy” for Mary Beth. She would complain often that we didn’t have the house in a constant state of cleanliness. We were never disgusting, but when you show up unannounced to a tenant’s house… uh, yeah, it’s not gonna be pristine. At the end of our stay, she gave us a long list (like 20 things?) that we needed to do to ensure our deposit. Ridiculous and tedious things such as wiping each individual blind in each individual window… we got FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS out of our TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLAR deposit back… Disgusting. Especially considering the HOURS of effort we put into this.

Avoid renting from these people at all costs. They are unfair, unpleasant people.

I didn’t live here, but I helped my friends move. I spent 8+ hours of my own time to help do as much deep cleaning as they demanded. And my friends still didn’t get the deposit back completely. That on top of other things throughout their time there (such as telling them an overhead light was broken and that never being fixed), I’m so glad I wasn’t living there. Tenants shouldn’t feel bullied in their own house when they pay to live there.

Terrible service, they were nice until we told them we were moving out and then they changed ways. Gave us a list of 20 different things to do cleaning-wise to get our deposit back and then proceeded to charge us for things we already did. They hired a $200 cleaning lady to walk into the clean apartment and approve it before leaving.
I would avoid these clowns if at all possible, they clearly are just in it for the money and will gladly charge you for things that were taken care of.
